We had a great experience at Roots & Rolls: the decoration is beautiful and the food was excellent (special mention for the bao buns!) from the starters to the dessert and cocktails (which are very original and surprising - in a very good way).

Great Vegan Sushi - Edit
It's often hard to find vegan sushi that goes beyond a cucumber avocado roll. They have multiple really creative rolls on the menu. We got the hip caroots roll, as well as the NY noodles (like a cold sesame noodle), the bang bang broccoli, and the popcorn cauliflower. Our meal was delicious! On the expensive side, but worth it for a special occasion.

Disappointed and angry. - Edit
Based on the excellent reviews of the place, I'm guessing their sushi is fine, but our experience with their hot entrees left us angry and disappointed.

1. The noodles were flavored with so much soy sauce that my dining partner could not est the dish because it was so salty.
2. The otherwise flavorless curry arrived a full 10 minutes after the noodles. So that the noodles were cold by the time the thai curry arrived.
3. The curry arrived lukewarm. Such that you wonder if it is even safe to eat because it has been sitting out so long. We sent it back but it took another 10 minutes to replate the dish. REALLY? Pre-made rice and pre-made curry? AND IT STILL CAME BACK LUKEWARM!!
4. We ordered a side of "bang bang broccolli" to pass the time but it was so overly salty that it was unhealthy to eat..
I've eaten at some great and not-so-great vegan restaurants, but never had such a terrible meal.
I spoke to the Manager, who was, I must say, quite gracious. And I tipped the staff nicely because I'm sure she was having a difficult day.
Pros: Nice roomy and comfortable physical space., Manager accepted criticism in a gracious manner., Sushi might be good (I would not know)
Cons: Hot entrees were terribly prepared, Timing of food from kitchen was awful.

The degustation sushi plate is a great way of trying all their rolls which are colourful, beautifully presented, and quite unique in their fillings and flavors. The okonomiyaki was a huge disappointment though -- it simply isn't okonomiyaki (it tastes like a pancake made with red lentils) and lacked flavor. We thought that spending €50 for 2 people should leave us feeling quite full but the rolls here are very small. The service was really nice but I doubt I'll be going back here.

Jackfruit in taqueros was flavorless and okonomiyaki were not okonomiyakis. It was 3 pancakes, quite dry, with sauces. You can make vegan okonomiyaki, I thought I would have one.
So go for makis, there are really good and tasty.

The restaurant has a beautiful Nordic-industrial style, staff is really nice and can speak English good enough. Sorry to say that, but dishes don't have character, everything is quite similar. Dessert was a nice surprise, very tasty!

Dans le cadre d’une expérience spa restaurant (avec le Slow spa qui est vegan aussi), nous avons pu découvrir un repas en 8 plats. Des Californias au fruit de jaquier, au gâteau au chocolat à l’avocat, en passant par les wings panées, tout était délicieux. J’ai trouvé les associations super originales et très bien équilibrées. Le restaurant en lui-même est très joli, l’arrière salle est vraiment canon ! C’était une superbe expérience, que je recommande à tous.tes :)

Optamos por las gyozas (sabrosísimas), el okonomiyaki (son pancakes, poco que ver con el plato japonés, pero está bueno) y el sushi 'Say cheese', que nos recomendó la camarera y nos pareció rico y original.
