Food was good. The chicken drumsticks and chicken skin were really impressive. The selection of teas and other beverages was fun. Prices are on the higher side and it's self service.

We hadden het adres op google maps en zijn er drie keer langs gelopen.🤦♀️ Het zit namelijk niet op de begane grond maar een paar verdiepingen hoger boven wat andere restaurants.

Als voorgerecht hadden we meatballs, wat er lekker was en als hoofdgerecht had ik de northen Thai curry noodle en me vader de korean kimchi burger. De noodles waren er lekker en vooral de drumsticks. De burger was eigenlijk zoals de meeste vegan burgers, maar dan met een beetje kimchi.
Wat misschien handig is om te weten is dat je er geen alcoholische dranken kan bestellen.
Ik zou dit restaurant zeker aanraden, maar houd in je achterhoofd dat in lokaal eten naar mijn mening lekkerder is.🥰

I often come here for lunch or dinner and my non-vegan friends also love the food. I love that I can get proper desserts here! Huge slice of delicious chocolate cake ❤️ The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly as well! I highly recommend a visit! 😊

Great vegan food. I’ve tried:
Read more- Red curry mixed veggie tempeh with konjac noodles. It was quite a large portion, and tasty with lots of veg.
- Vegan rendang with pita - lots of spices and nice texture of jackfruit.
- Soymilk miso "chicken" ramen - the soup is so creamy and yummy, and noodles have great bite, not sure what kind of mushroom they used but I loved that, as well as the tempeh and mock chicken.
- Beetroot orecchiette - so creamy and tasty
- Dan dan linguine - hint of spice and yummy
- They have different cakes each time but I’ve enjoyed them all! Apple and cinnamon pound cake, chocolate cakes, matcha cake, hojicha tea cake... !
Service was good (can be slow at times) and it's in a really central location.
Things to note:
They don't have any alcohol and charge HKD100 for corkage.
They close early!

After a long day out I headed to Root. I ordered tuna toast (nothing wrong with it but not for me), the creamy avocado linguine which was amazing and the best to last (a serous must) lemon pie. I do not eat deserts generally- but this was on point! I appreciated there was no plastic served - 5 stars for that!

The food here is incredible, I had the red curry and it was delicious, perfectly spiced & the lemon tart was also delicious. The staff are friendly and speak good English. The food is a little pricy but worth it overall!
