Opened late-2014 this bistro serves vegan and raw-vegan dishes (from 8pm) inspired by local and international cuisines. Diners eat in the company of six cats who wander around the tables. Cozy atmosphere. Reservations are required for dinner, usually 5+ days in advance. Kitchen is open 10AM-11:30AM (breakfast) / 1PM-2:30PM (lunch) / 4PM-6:30PM (afternoon snack) / 8PM-10:30PM (dinner). Open Tue-Sun 10:00-12:30, 13:00-19:30, 20:00-23:00. Closed Mon.

Great food, cute cats

Romeow was by far the best cat cafe we have ever been to, both in relation to the food and the care for the cats. The place is tastefully decorated, the cats are relaxed and several groups of locals seemed to genuinely to come just for the food.
The bistro is completely vegan. We got starters, two mains and dessert and everything tasted great.

One of my faves ever!

This was one of my favourite restaurants ever! I tried the noodles and some cake. The cats are the cutest and the staff is the kindest, I had a problem with my credit card and unluckily I had to let them wait around 15-20 minutes before being able to pay, but they were still really nice!

Pros: Vegan Quality Food, Staff, CATS CATS CATS

Ein Ort zum schlemmen und kuscheln

Wir wurden gleich von einer sehr neugierigen weissen Katze begrüßt die uns auch gleich belagert hat und erstmal tüchtig durchgekuschelt werden wollte. An zweiter Stelle kam das Essen. Wir hatten eine Buddah Bowl mit Quinoa, Tempeh, Süsskartoffeln und vielen anderen Gemüse. Dazu Kombucha und Orangenlimo. Zum Nachtisch Cappuccino und ein Schokomuffin. Das essen war lecker und die Athmosphäre sehr entspannend. Ein Ort zum verweilen und genießen.

Lovely quiet venue with gorgeous cats

The cats were lovely and their environment seemed lovely, not over crowded or loud and plenty of places for them to get away as they desired. Food and coffee was also lovely and reasonably priced.

Must visit for all cat lovers

The food here was amazing and the staff were friendly. I was torn between two dishes so the waitress gave me her recommendation which I appreciated. Eating in the company of cats was amazing while being on a long holiday and missing my own cat. The restaurant was pretty quiet and the cats seemed happy. It was very clear that the staff loved the cats too. Would highly recommend coming here.

One of my fav place on earth

If you love cats, cozy places, quiet vibes, vegan yummy food... Well this is the place for you. Everything is very good and fresh. You have to book a table before going bc it's always full. Cats are so lovely 😻

LOVE LOVE LOVE

This was my favorite place to eat in Rome. I am vegan and love cats, so no brainer! The ambiance and kitties were purrfect! I arrived at a weird hour, kind of after lunch/before dinner, but was looking for more of a meal than a snack. The owner said she’d whip something up and it was delicious! Everyone there was super friendly and the cats were so cute. I never wanted to leave. :)

Delightful all vegan food provided by lovely staff. And cats.

This was our second visit with the last 12 months ago. My booking was for 8pm and the restaurant looked deserted when we arrived at 7.45 so went for a drink at Hopside, a nearby bar. We were still the first customers when we sat at 8.15. People eat late in Rome. We had the tasting menu which was excellent value and offered a huge variety of tastes. I enjoyed everything, especially the croquettes and the tofu. Pudding was delicious too.

Pros: Loads of choice, It’s all vegan so don’t worry, Staff are wonderful

Delicious food surrounded by cats!

Almost forgot to go here before leaving Rome, I would have been so sad! Made a reservation for lunch, ate upstairs. There are no normal tables up there but it is still very comfortable, also makes it easier for the cats the step on you if they chose to do so😉The food was amazing! All vegan and lots of flavor, everyone that works here was also very friendly! I hope to be back next time I find myself in Rome.

Encantadísima

Sitio vegano con encanto con un servicio encantador, comida deliciosa y un ambiente que te ayuda a desconectar del ritmo estresante de Roma. Los gatos son un plus en la creación de comfort en el lugar.
Lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.

Splendid food

We returned 3 times to enjoy the delicious food. The presentation was great and the desserts were not to be missed especially the white cake.
The service was super friendly.
Advance reservation is required.

Vegan and Raw cute cafe

This cafe is really unique, with cute cats all around (don’t worry, they won’t bother you at all!)
The cakes are all vegan, and there are a lot of options for hot and cold beverages (many many smoothies!)
The place is welcoming and not so big, so you could sometimes have to wait!
A bit expensive, but they deserve the support!! A cute place for a nice occasion, a cute breakfast or mid afternoon snack!
Try it!

Pros: Is all vegan!, Friendly place, small and cozy, and eco friendly!, A lot of plant based types of milk available!!

Vegan Paradise

Putting aside the obvious pull of the beautiful kitties, this place has REALLY good vegan food! I would struggle to find as imaginative and beautifully prepared menu back in the UK. I had a wonderful pesto fusilli dish with a side salad and my partner the deconstructed fajitas. To finish the tiramisu is delicioso and you wouldn't know it was vegan to be honest! They also have a comprehensive wine and beer menu. I suppose the cats are great too😄a must visit for a vegan in Roma!

Creative vegan food

This is a small bistrot in the Ostiense quarter, characterized for the feline inhabitants and the vegan food. All the dishes are beautifully presented and are so rich in flavour and creativity. I had an appetizer "savoury sicilian cannoli with almond and chives ricotta with summer vegetables caponata" that was absolutely fantastic, and the vegan Pad Thay that was good. I tried my friends dishes too and found them tasty and creative, made with unusual ingredients and complex in flavour. Unfortunately we couldn't try the desserts that seem to be their strong point because we were full! Cats are discreet, sometimes one of them comes and interact with human guests... the only thing I would improve is the service, in my opinion is too relaxed and a little bit distracted. Anyway I would surely come back!

Vegan Food and Cute Kitties!

We were so excited to enjoy vegan food while being surrounded by cute kitties and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and had the presentation of a 5 star restaurant. We arrived after their kitchen closed but they were kind enough to open it back up for us and I couldn’t have been happier since Romeow was top of my list of vegan restaurants to visit in Rome. With adorable cats and great vegan food what more could you want!

Trendy and delicious

Very trendy, amazing all vegan restaurant. The service was much better than at other places in Rome. The food was beautifully presented and insanely delicious. We also loved the incredible dessert options, including the most amazing tiramisu. The cats are very cute but keep a low profile so no need to worry if you arent a cat fan. Portions are fairly small as in most upscale restaurants so definitely order multiple entrees.

Pros: Amazing food and ambience, Cats!, Friendly service

Cons: Out of the way location, Slow service

my 28th birthday couldn't have been better!

I came here for my birthday with all my family (none of them is vegan, unfortunately), and everyone was satisfied for flavor, quantity and quality of the food. I really loved especially the ravioli with cashew, the fried shiitake mushrooms and the raw cake with red fruits. Love the atmosphere, the cats, and the staff, everybody very kind and ready to get any suggestion.
Absolutely coming back as soon as possible!

Really delicious food and presented really nicely. Lovely atmosphere, the only I would say is my smoothie wasn't quite as cold as I would like and although the food is great it would be something too expensive for me to come here often.

Uhm, not so good.

We had a meal n we tried 4 plates, but we left hungrier. It’s really overpriced for the small portions, even if the taste was good. There are better vegan places in Rome.

Cats at work!

Cats at work!! At this wonderful 100% vegan place are living six cats which help to promote a vegetarian lifestyle. All the ingredients which enter this gourmet cuisine are certified organic. They offer various raw food dishes and their vegetable fruit juice is balanced fantastically. I had a green juice with an amazing pineapple taste. With the ecological juice they served me a delicious cake, lovely decorated with a dried apple, which was incredibly light. They have an especially creative dinner menu. During the daytime they serve fresh biological juices and natural cake. The decoration has a lot of details, the lights are unimaginable beautiful and on the walls we can enjoy funny paintings with many cartoon cats. Inside the veggie restaurant they have put a tree where the cats can climb to chill on top! My ears listened to a fantastic joyful relaxing mix of DJ Valentina which can not be described in words!! This veg place is my favourite vegan spot in Rome as I am a cat lover and the whole concept fits perfectly. This place is more than a restaurant, it is an artful creation of a peaceful lovely place where I would like to be every day! I will definitely recommend this place and come back as soon as possible!!
