Really cool place - Edit
Loved my visit here. Tbh, food-wise they have a self-service cafe without much on. I had a carrot cake, which was lovely. However, I believe that they sometimes have Sunday dinner and events, so I'll definitely be back to try them!

Delicious food - Edit
Such an interesting place. Worth the visit for the amazing sculptures alone. The food is good and cheap. There isn’t much choice in terms of menu. You get whatever they’ve decided to cook that day. Personally I like that. A nice surprise.

Laid back vegan roast - Edit
Filling plateful of nut roast, potatoes, greens, carrots, and homemade gravy for a tenner each.
Read moreClever remote buzzer system lets you know when your food is served, so you can find a seat and relax or browse the yard full of fascinating old stuff - vehicles, automata, sculptures - and listen to the music. Live music some weekends (check their Facebook page for info). There's also a punk barbershop, screenprint workshop, and stuff for sale.
Really lovely, unusual place.
Pros: All vegan, Lots to see

Great little cafe in a crazy space - Edit
The Green Door cafe has passed on from its original chef to one of the Rockaway crew head honchos. She serves lunch between 12 and 1.30 during the week and another chef does the weekend. At other hours there is a self service tea, coffee and cake option available. The food options change each day. If they are anything as good as the grub we had on the day we passed through then this place should soon be packed out. For a very reasonable price we had a great Thai curry dish that was pleasantly spiced but not hot. The homemade seitan bacon sandwich was top notch too. There was a mint rocky road cake that lacked the chewy bits but tasted great. All In all I wish all the new vegan cafes were this genuine and honest rather than hip and fancy. If you are coming from a distance I would phone to check there is space.

Cons: A little out of the way!, Could do with a bit more heating when it’s cold.
