Wonderful! - Edit
The space is gorgeous -- open air, hanging colorful lanterns, air plants, fountains and a shop pup and kitty to pet :) Large menu with lots of options. We ordered the mushroom burger and WOW! HUGE and very, very good -- I'm not even a mushroom fan and they really nailed it, the texture and flavor were amazing! It came with fries that were perfect too. We also ordered pomodoro bruschetta which was SO fresh and delicious, the tomatoes were perfectly ripe and tasty. Finally we had the green tea leaf salad which was another very large portion and fantastic flavor. We had the 'red velvet' bottle of kombucha which really sealed the deal!

Tried this place out through my partner discovering it on a vegan food blog.
Read moreIt’s so good to have a place where you don’t need to worry about telling people your dietary requirements because it’s all vegan!
I had the Tom Yum Soup to start with and the Pad Thai to finish. My partner had a mushroom bruschetta and linguine puttanesca. All were absolutely delicious.
The menu is massive and there is so much to choose from.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and the atmosphere is so chilled.
As with everything else with Chang Mai it was cheap as chips too.
This place is so good that I’m either going back today or tomorrow before I fly home. Highly recommended!

Lovely place good people great food - Edit
This place has a lovely athmosphere. The owners, a welcoming Thai/Swiss couple, are genuinely vegan out of compassion and seem to constantly work at perfecting their already wonderful menu. They offer Thai and western food no matter what your specifications are they are very flexible. They use pink Himalayan salt in their food now which I love too!

Amazing! - Edit
I rarely give 5 stars but this place wins! I enjoyed the extremely flavourful mushroom burger and my wife had the vegan Khao Soi. Hands down the best vegan food we have had in Chiang Mai, end of story.

great food - 100% recommend! - Edit
I can't recommend this place enough, the venue itself is super cute and the food is incredible! We had a papaya salad (was massive / 90 baht) and a mushroom burger with vegan mayo (150 baht). The menu is mostly all vegan and as it's not on a main road it wasn't crazy busy when we went.

COMPLETELY AMAZED! - Edit
This place is located in a beautiful and hip vegetarian hotel. The food is exquisite and so is the service and decor. I can't say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend staying at the hotel and having the pancakes for breakfast and mushroom burger for dinner. LOVE!

Cracking meal - Edit
Absolutely great food, had the mushroom burger, spicy cucumber salad, green curry and a pad thai, the last one was fairly ordinary but the rest was brilliant. And it's so ruddy cheap, we had a few scoops of ice cream at the end and it came to less than 600 baht. And we are very greedy.

The burger is to die for! - Edit
We have been staying at the guest house above, and have eaten a few meals here. The garden dining area is a welcome relief from the heat and bustle of the nearby city streets, and the food is excellent. The burger is hands down the best I've ever eaten! Would definitely recommend this place.

One of the best in Chiang Mai. Love it. - Edit
Reform Kafe serves vegan menu from 11 am and it's great. As somebody mentioned before, their burgers are fantastic. The burger comes with pickles (yum!) on a large plate with fries, mayo dip and fresh greens on the side; very good value for 150 baht, and it's very enjoyable AND filling. Definitely try it. Khao Soi and Som Tam are also the best ever. The service is nice and they generally have a few English speaking people around. It's a good place, and I hope they keep the quality. The only negative experience we had there was when a bunch of Chinese tourists came, and turned the whole scene into uncouth uncivilized zoo, yelling an acting like they were the only people there. That ruined our lunch date, but every other time was quite wonderful, so we will go back again, just hoping for a better timing next time. They also have Wifi, and it's basically on the same property as the Green Tiger House (guesthouse).

Get the burger - Edit
As the title states- you should get the burger. Legit one of the best burgers I have personally EVER had! Also had the fresh spring rolls (really tasty and light) and the Khao soi (like a noodle laksa- also amazing flavours and delicious). If you have a chance to get here, absolutely do it. Wonderful food, and lovely staff.

Delicious vegan food with a calm atmosphere. - Edit
The food was amazing - we had the Burmese tea leaf salad, fresh spring rolls, mushroom burger, and khao soi, and some kombucha. You definitely should try the tea leaf salad and the mushroom burger (it reminded us of a healthy Big Mac but without the cruelty and dripping fat, sooo yummy). A little pricey compared to what we are used to but each dish cost 120-150 baht so not too bad. Like the other reviews say, the cleanliness of the restaurant and friendliness of the staff is unlike any other place in Chiang Mai. Wish we had time to go back again.

The atmosphere is calm only if Chinese tourists are not sitting nearby. Then forget about calm. Lots of yelling and quite uncivilized behavior is guaranteed.

best vegan restaraunt ever! - Edit
One of my favorite vegan restaraunts ever. Probably went 4-5 times while in chiang mai for a week. Khao soi was so good it was hard to order anything else. Juices were delicious. Atmosphere is beautiful and very calming and comfy, with benches and pillows. Felt very loving and happy vibes. Mango sticky rice and papaya salad too because duh you have to get it everywhere you go. Everything was impressive

great tasting food in a very nice setting - Edit
called into Reform Kafe for a late lunch after finding another close-by restaurant closed ... lucky me ... I ordered fresh spring rolls ( ฿120) and massaman curry (฿100) with rice (฿20) ... the vegies in the spring rolls were tasty, fresh and crisp and the dipping sauce was farang pet ... the massaman curry was perfect with both the quality and quantity being excellent ... the chunky vegies were really great tasting and the curry was devine ... while not the cheapest in Chiang Mai the massaman curry at Reform Kafe provides very good value for money ... the restaurant was clean and cool with friendly and attentive staff

Amazing - Edit
An amazing addition to Chiang Mai's vegan scene. The menu is now completely vegan if you eat after 11.00 AM. They still serve eggs in the hotel breakfast in the morning. After this time, it's all vegan including the mayonnaise that is served with the wedges etc. The prices aren't cheap but the portions are very generous and the setting is one of the loveliest places around. Very cozy and pretty. A very special place to eat with a nice range of Thai and Western choices. Try the vegan burger or the mushroom sandwich.

Lovely place, great meals - Edit
We stayed at the Green Tiger House for a couple nights during our stay in Chiang MAi and were quite pleased. We are here a few times because it was convenient and delicious. Lots of vegan options, including banana pancakes for breakfast! So good. Enjoyed everything, just would have liked to see it all vegan- (no eggs, vegan alternative to carbonara pasta sauce, etc).

A real gem of Chiang Mai! - Edit
We've visited pretty much all the veggie/vegan places in Chiang Mai. Although the food they offer is pretty good, ALL of them lack aesthetic appeal and beauty. Dirty toilets, old and often dirty tables, cheap plates, etc. So we've been dreaming of finding a vegan place we would really enjoy. And Reform Cafe is the one! In fact, it's the only one! The restaurant itself is spacious and you don't feel like everyone is sat on top of each other. The place is absolutely beautiful with a calm, unique atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and ready to cater for your needs (we asked not to put certain ingredients in our salads and it was not a problem at all). The restaurant is clean, the salads are great and big. The food is served quick and presented really well. This is the ONLY veggie restaurant in Chiang Mai with a clean toilet, surroundings and beautiful design! Absolutely and definitely recommend this place before you go anywhere else. We'll be coming back again and again for sure and are grateful that we've found such a gem of a place to eat out!
Read moreThe only thing I'd recommend to the owner is to add healthy boiled/steamed veggies, steamed sweet potato and perhaps quinoa to the menu so people who don't eat complex meals can go for healthier plain steamed vegan options with no oil, salt, soy, etc. I've seen this at another veggie restaurant in Chiang Mai and would really appreciate it if Reform Kafe offered the same option. Also, to serve a salad dressing on the side of the salad as some people don't eat oils and vinegar. That would be awesome!
Pros: Clean, beautiful, quet, rejuvenating, friendly, Food is served quickly and according to your needs, The salads are good size
Cons: More simple steamed options of the menu, not fried
