For me, this is still the vegan pace-setter in Barcelona. Quite a lot has changed here since our first visit in 2014 so I’ve updated my original review. It’s now 100% vegan for a start. This is an absolutely gorgeous intimate establishment serving intricately creative tapas style dishes in a splendid modernist but homely Barrio Gotico setting. For €29 you get a house appetiser followed by your choice of starter, main and desert or you can skip desert and pick another starter or something from the snack or breads menu such as their fabulous croquettes or a Catalan tomato bread. The food is truly excellent and prepared with dedicated precision. You will find some fantastic seasonal combinations here, the menu is dynamic and changes regularly. Rasoterra promotes the 'Slow Food' concept which puts emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and the distance traveled to reach the dining table. The natural wines here are selected very carefully which (in their own words) “mirror and showcase the lands that surround the city”. This is still unequivocally my top vegan establishment of all time.

The only thing I could say is that a couple of times a couple of dishes had a little lack of taste.
Overall it’s a great place and it’s all VEGAN.

I came here for dinner for a special occasion and had the tasting vegan menu. It consists of four dishes plus two desserts, water and bread included. The experience costs 30€, which is exceptionally well priced for the quality of the food. Everything was cooked wonderfully, and the textures and flavours were original and exciting. The service was also exceptionally friendly. Their local is nice and their motto (km0 ingredients, slow food, seasonal menus, etc.), admirable.

This is definitely the best vegan restaurant in Barcelona. Every time is a different experience as menu changes with the seasons and all recipes are creative, tasty and put together with love. Recipes are also creative and innovative and somewhat surprising, but tasty and delicious too.

Our family of 5 ate dinner here. 3 of us our vegan and 2 are not. The non-vegans enjoyed everything we ordered. Our favorites in order: bao buns, pasta, curry, croquettes, tacos. Every dish was small but big enough for each of us to have a small portion.

Went to this restaurant for a nice lunch. Chose the taster menu. Each dish arrived and was explained to us where it originated and that the food was locally sourced. Very fast service. All the food was delicious and good value for money! We had 2 starter sized dishes, a main sized dish and a dessert (vegan chocolate truffles that were insanely good) for €19. The waiters were lovely and we were extremely impressed with this place. Wish we had found it sooner as we might have visited again.

We could choose between a menu, or choose the dishes seperately. The waiter informed us that the dishes are more tapas style, and suggested we order several smaller dishes, which were to share. A great idea!
We had 6 courses (to share) which came down to 30,5 € per person. Very reasonable.
Delicious food! Friendly service. Courses followed very swiftly (very fast actually, for it being called slowfood).
This was one of our best experiences in Barcelona!
