Cozy place with cute host and excellent food - Edit
There are various vegan dishes always combining different components such as rice, miso soup, soy meat and veggies in a set lunch/dinner form. The host is preparing the food freshly and it tastes delicious.

Croquette set - Edit
Appreciate the variety in the set, and it was filling. They also have a Buddhist vegan set, which I wanted to try, but we all went with fried items 🙃

Owned by vegans and great food! - Edit
It's always nice supporting a vegan run business and unlike a lot of other places in Tokyo this is a vegan run cafe. Their vegan karaage is a 10/10 and while a bit pricey, it definitely delivers. Go here!

Double-check opening days before going - Edit
It’s a bit pricier and not as cozy or tasty as some similar lunch places. Decent option if you’re in the area - otherwise I would recommend Nagi Shokudo instead for a better version of this!!!

Best Fried Soy Meat (Karaage) - Edit
I’ve had a few Karaage since I’ve been to Japan but this one has the best flavor. Best enjoyed right out of the fryer. It’s soooo good. The cherry blossom ice cream is to live for and a definite must try. Before the season is up of course.
Read moreBut here is the kicker it’s also a crystal shop. It was so cool to be there and experience that right near a cherry blossom festival at that.

Food ok, experience a bit intense - Edit
The food is okay, but a tad bit overpriced. It is very hard to enjoy a meal with other people due to the quiet environment. Some soft music in the background would lift up the spirit and make the place more laid back. I do appreciate the mini organic store-front though.

okay - Edit
I really want to give a higher rating bc the staff was very sweet, but the food was ok, and when I asked for a switch they charged me extra without telling me it would cost like five dollars more first😡

Every time I go here I think "How is this place not more famous??" - Edit
I have eaten at this shop several times over the last few months and every time I go, I can't help but wonder why it isn't more popular. The food is amazing, the price is normal, the portions are rather large (almost too much for me, but good for my husband!) and the staff is friendly. I especially love their curry and their soy karaage. My husband loves their ramen - he orders it every time! We usually get a deli plate to share plus two lunch plates and we are always too stuffed to eat dessert (which I would really like to try someday!) There is a Natural Lawson next door which I sometimes visit to get vegan snacks. There is also a shop selling bentos right outside of this restaurant - at first I thought it was the same shop, but it isn't (that shop isn't vegan, so don't be tricked like I almost was! lol) Anyway, Rainbow Bird Rendezvous is great and I highly recommend them!

Hidden gem - Edit
A bit difficult to find place as not in the usual busy area but it s definitely worth visiting. Looking at the menu I wanted to have a desert but decided to wait until I was done with the main dish before deciding. Unlike some other vegan place, quantity is extremely generous and taste is just extremely delicious. So I ended up not hungry any more for a desert. I will surely come back with my family to try them. Very much impressed also by the variety of the offering for lunch. One of my best vegan experience in Tokyo this far. Highly recommend. Had the Karaage bowl and luuuuuved it.

Beautiful spot on quaint street - Edit
Filling, tasty, well sized portions, with a good amount of options, I recommend this place wholeheartedly! The ambiance is very soothing and the whole neighborhood feels like a pedestrian mall. The crepe made for a nice dessert, and everything before that was quite tasty as well; a cuisine similar to Nagi Shokudo, I think.

The Karaage Lunchbox was so good and only 750円 they used Kalalamak (black salt) to season it such a refreshing new flavor! Also the Gobo Salad and Potato Salad were a really good add to the taste!

Great Japanese style vegan food - Edit
I love trying vegan food based on local cuisine and this cozy spot fit the bill. I had the days special which was deep fried tofu with mushrooms, brown rice, soup, a few cooked veggies and salad. I also had a soy milk latte and chocolate soft serve ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious, nice portion sizes and friendly English speaking staff. The location is in a fun narrow street neighborhood off the beaten path but not far from a train stop.

Excellent lunch set! - Edit
We got an early lunch there and it was lovely and wholesome food. There was a lot of veggies and salad which we love and it’s hard to find at a lot of Japanese places. We had a lot of vintage shopping done in this neighbourhood so it’s a great place to pop in before or after walking around.
