Read moreI had the sushi and mushroom satay, both didn’t taste like they had been prepared/cooked fresh. The nori (seaweed wrap) was quite chewy. The mushroom was nice but a bit dry. Just didn’t seem fresh which is a shame.
I then had the brownie with coconut ice cream. Was more like a cake, not gooey at all which was a shame. The ice cream was very light which was interesting.
Overall not bad but just not WOW
Pros: Menu was huge, lots to choose from

Questionable ethics - Edit
I don't know what kind of vegan restaurant would keep fish in a small box as a decoration. Leaves an impression that they are not really there for animals, only there to make money. It's against my ethics and also I can not trust people with this kind of mindset with my food.

We ate at this place during our stay at Chiang Mai. The place is located in a quiet street and the staff speaks English. In the wall there are several portraits of celebrity vegans with some quotes of them.

I had steamed gyoza (fried would’ve also been possible) as well as a green curry inside a fresh coconut. They asked you how spicy you want your meal. I have chosen “medium“ which was not that spicy. Besides the curry I took brown rice.
The food tasted good. However, I had better meals in town (even for less money). Besides that, I would anyhow recommend this place!
The also offer cooking classes.

The restaurant is located in a calm side street. There are also some places to sit outside. Inside is no a/c but fans. The staff is friendly and speaks English. I had a pineapple juice, spicy cauliflower wings and a red curry in a coconut with rice. The food tastes really good, but I have to admit that there are better choices in town.

I liked this location a bit more than the other. Better neighborhood, and it was quieter inside. Menu is the same. I had the chicken wrap again, which I liked. Recommended especially if you want a mix of Thai and non-Thai options

I went about 5 times while on holiday in Chang Mai. I could get a big bowl of porridge with coconut milk for breakfast, which I loved. For lunch I tried the cauliflower wings or the vegan chicken wrap or the mixed salad sandwich. All were outstanding. The staff were friendly. Honestly, I will miss this place.

Not the most polished looking restaurant visually - but do not be deterred, food is delicious. We had pineapple fried rice, cauliflower wings, chicken burger & money bags - all was super tasty! A big mix of western and Thai food so something for all palettes.

Really really good food! Must've ate here at least every other night we were in Chiang Mai. The absolute best meal is the chicken wrap, for both portion and taste. Pumpkin soup is also very good! Check out Vegan Heaven 1 & Taste from Heaven which all share the same menu

Big vegan menu at any time - Edit
Vegan Heaven really worth the try since it offers an extensive vegan menu from breakfast to dinner, both western and Thai. I've been there twice and took their waffle with two ice cream scoops. The waffle had a good taste but lacked a little bit of baking. The ice creams were yummy. I also tried their vegan breakfast set 2 that came with scrambled tofu, mushrooms, tomato, a sausage, two patties, an orange juice, bread, jam and tea. I took the extra cheese and did not regret it. It was a great add to this breakfast that was really pleasant. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. You can go there blindly!

We had a great family dinner here. Menu had a huge variety of options. We took the spicy cauliflower and samosas for shareable starters, the. The two curries were great and served in a coconut, the fried rice was served in a pineapple and the banana flower salad was tasty. I loved that blacks and brown rice was an option. And the desserts were fab too. We tried the brownie (it’s really a cake), mango sticky rice and vanilla ice cream.

Had some great food here, although I feel like the food from the other vegan heaven had better taste when I ordered the same dishes there. Still great for vegan breakfast and lunch options inside the Old City, since many of those are non-vegan in Taste From Heaven.

Love this restaurant. They have two vegan locations, and 1 vegan/vegetarian location. They have both western and thai food. Although I much prefer the thai food since I did come to Thailand for that. I tried so many things on their menu and all was good. Banana blossum salad, pad see ew, massaman curry, pumpkin curry, pumpkin stir fry, khao soi, ice cream. All delicious.

The menu is big and tasty.. I’m pretty sure this place has the most western vegan options out of any restaurant in Thailand, but it also offers an extensive Thai section, sweets and amazing smoothies (try the strawberry banana with coconut milk)

I'm always happy to find a fully vegan restaurant, but this one makes me particularly happy. This place does a great mix of Thai and Western food, all delicious and rather indulgent. Not a health food restaurant, lots of fried stuff and fake meats, which I don't mind at all! Do try the English breakfast and the brownie.

After years of cooking my own fry up with a hangover and wanting a cafe cooked breakfast we found one! The chicken wrap is also delicious. Such good food & amazing, sweet, friendly staff! Deffo don’t wanna miss out on eating here!

we tried the noodle soup and the veganburger, the burger's paddy was tasty, unfortunately too moist consistency, so that it fell out of line, tasty sweet potato chips in addition. both good but not a blast. the service was warm and attentive.
