Great local food for local prices

I much prefer these kinds of local hole-in-the-wall restaurants to the more upscale veggie restaurants targeted at tourists and rich people... everything feels more authentic, and you're eating with normal Vietnamese people all around you.

Note: the actual location of this restaurant can be found on Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/zKtABetzukE2

Pros: cheap, delicious, local food

Awesome local veggie place

one of the local veggie places in the city center (make sure you navigate by the address - the pinpoint on happy cow points to a different one). if you prefer local authentic joints over those overpriced western ones, this is a place to go. the menu is available in english too, variety of food is quite rich and the prices are more than friendly. plus it's pretty much right in the city center, just around the corner from the central market.

Pros: Portions, Location close to the city center, Staff

wonderful food

Vietnamese food with english menu

The food was ready very quickly after ordering. We ordered summer rolls for 5.000 VND each, but they were very tasty and big. We also ordered two bigger dishes that were great. The Bánh canh which was a noodle soup with bean curd sausage, fried wotons, mushrooms and vegetable balls. I can't remember the name of the other one we ordered, but it had bamboo shoot, nudles, soup and veggie meat.

The staff had a hard time speaking english so there was a communication problem when we thought that the price for the summer rolls were 5.000 for 3. The price was 5.000 for each, but it was no big deal.

The facility was very simple without decoration, but clean and. Nothing special about the facility, really.

Locals ate there as well and the price was very cheap, 85.000 VND all together.

Pros: really good food, cheap

Cons: nothing specieal about facility, staff spoke only a little english
