Friendly staff, delicous food

I've been here for a few times, they have many options for vegan especially noodle. I will recommend the "banh mi" as well if you want to have a full meal.

Pros: Lost of vegan options, Food is so good, Friendly staffs

Looks like renovations have only just started. They’re still stripping it.

closed for renovations

I don’t want to give a bad rating, because I couldn’t actually eat there. Wanted to inform that it is closed due to renovations and the sign on the door says it will reopen in July 2019.

Inexpensive

Inexpensive meal with most mains costing 40,000vnd. Staff don’t speak English but the menu is in Vietnamese & English with photos too. Not busy when we went in but within 10 mins it was full

Pros: English menu, Inexpensive

Good banh mi, friendly owner

I had the banh mi here, the one with two fillings. It was very flavorful and filling. The owner knows English and was very friendly. She explained to me that all the food was vegetarian as soon as I entered and made sure the taste was to my liking. I wish I came here sooner so I could eat more often during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s quite close to the fine arts museum and the ben thanh market.

Pros: All veg menu, Owner speaks English , Inexpensive

Best in the area

We had 2 banh mi and 4 spring rolls despite asking for 2 rolls. It didn’t feel like a mistake and would have been forgiven if the rolls were amazing, but they were fairly bland. The Banh Mi were full of noodles and the bread wasn’t as fresh as other places in the city. It seemed quite popular with locals so perhaps it’s the best option for the area but we won’t be rushing back any time soon.

Pros: All veggie menu, Quick service , Close to the art gallery

No idea what I ordered but it was a noodles soup with a clear broth with real depth in flavour.

Typical "chay" eatery. Ordered a noodle soup, after asking for pho and bun cha with no success. Friendly owner. Broth is as usual, solid.

Pros: Reasonable prices in SG I am guessing.

Cons: Staff don't speak English.

Quick bite

I stopped by for a mid-afternoon snack after a long day of walking. I opted for the Bun Tau. It was pretty tasty, but not as rich or complex as other soup noodles I’ve had while in HCMC. The fried wonton in the soup was really good, though. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

soup contains MSG

This place had a nice menu, unfortunately most of the dishes are only available on the first or full moon. My girlfriend has a bad reaction to MSG so we should have been more careful ordering soup, but there was no English spoken and we decided to risk it. Bad idea.

Cons: limited menu most days, msg used

Ok food

Ok food. Good prices. Soup could be tastier though. Would go back if near by, but I wouldn't make a trip there juste for that...

Pros: low key

Cons: not the tastiest

10 stars!!!

Absolutely amazing! Went there twice a day. The soups are so delicious, especially no 1 on the menu, the ingredients are all same, it’s just the noodles and broth that varies. Wontons are very good too (better in the morning though as they weren’t crispy in the evening but might’ve just been a fluke ), Banh Mi amazing again! Also had soaked rice paper with tofu, salad, mung beans etc, it came with dipping broth - so good!! Can’t say enough good things!

Pros: brilliant food!, pretty clean compared to others, nice young server girl

Cons: no wifi

Tasty inexpensive food

Small place that does really good spring rolls and flavorful noodle soups. Big portions and only 40,000, 8000 per springroll. No English spoken but they have English menu. Lots of locals there but they still got the food out quick

Pros: 100% vegan, tasty food, good big portions

Cons: not the best atmosphere and the staff weren't over

Great place.

A great place for a quick meal. Very friendly staff. No English spoken but there is no need with the menu having English. The food is very good especially for the price.

sweet local family

My order was taken quickly and my food (curry rice w mushrooms and a spring roll) arrived in minutes. I really want to give a high rating as I like the local family atmosphere and the lady waiting on me but the curry was thin with little taste, the carrots were hard/undercooked and the tofu was strange. I had to order more rice to have enough to eat. I would possibly try one more time as I seemed to be the last customer of the eve and they looked tired.

Pros: vegetarian, easy location across McDonalds, family business

Not my first option.

Upfront service was bad as the waiter didn't even greet or talk to me at all. My order was quickly prepared in less than two minutes and the broth on my pho was not even boiled again, so it was somewhat cold. Ended up with stomach problems for a couple of days.

Good local food

This cute local restaurant offers traditional vietnamese dishes, all ranging from 40k to 50k. The staff is really nice, they'll also give you an english menu. Food is tasty and comes really fast, would definitely recommend this place to vegans and also non-vegs!

Pros: Traditional vietnamese cuisine, Fast service, English menu

Authentic

Small authentic restaurant with good food and very cheap prices. We went back twice. The map on HappyCow app is wrong, copy paste the address in Google Maps instead.

Great local food for local prices

I much prefer these kinds of local hole-in-the-wall restaurants to the more upscale veggie restaurants targeted at tourists and rich people... everything feels more authentic, and you're eating with normal Vietnamese people all around you.

Note: the actual location of this restaurant can be found on Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/zKtABetzukE2

Pros: cheap, delicious, local food
