Exceptional fresh Italian - Edit
Our first visit to Pura Vita has us already planning our next. All vegan, everything from Tri Colori salad to antipasti to lasagne and dessert was superb. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and efficient. Trying their pies and the Redondo Beach new location before our vacation ends. Non mangieri animali indeed!

Absolutely incredible food and quality. This is top quality cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. How can something so simple like potato wedges be turned into a divine meal treating your tastebuds like royalty?! Idk, but they did it. The pizzas are absolute perfection. Although that’s technically Pura Vita Pizzeria I’m including it because it’s really the same place. Highly recommend this place. It’s definitely expensive, but if you just go as a special occasion treat it’s doable. The only downside was the outside seating in regards to it being WeHo so it’s very loud with all the traffic and the mix of car fumes and weed isn’t enjoyable, but that’s not the restaurants fault at all.

Cons: Expensive , Parking , Outside seating is noisy/smelly

Top Quality Cuisine! - Edit
Finally had the chance to eat here last night (via take-out), per the recommendation from my husband. Top quality ingredients, excellent taste, and top tier cuisine. Worth every penny. People often think "oh, it won't taste that great if it's vegan", they couldn't be more wrong. Highly recommended, two thumbs up.

Best vegan pizza! - Edit
I got takeout from Pura Vita Pizzeria for my birthday. My husband and I split the wild arugula salad, a margherita pizza with mushrooms and artichokes, and a "Derose" white pizza. It was all fabulous. The crust was just perfect, as was the red sauce. It's a little pricey, but so worth it. 2 pizzas and a salad was enough for 2 hungry adults plus my lunch the next day.

Beautifully lit inside if you go at night, has a lovely, romantic atmosphere. Great for a date night! The "scallops" are out of this world good, as is the lasagne.

The best vegan Italian food in the world. - Edit
Title says it all. This place is the BEST. If you thought you’d never be able to have rich, cheesy, gooey Italian food anymore as a vegan, think again.
Read moreThe OG spot serves beautiful plant based pasta dishes, antipasti, soups, and more. They also recently opened their pizzeria, which is equally insane (in a good way).
If it’s your first time, get the baked ricotta and one of the lasagnas (I love the black magic).
Pros: Insanely delicious food, Date-night ambiance , Authentic Italian, but make it cruelty-free
Cons: Expensive, Parking can be challenging

Fantastic pizza - Edit
Got two pizzas the weekend they opened. The black magic (gluten free crust) and padrino (regular crust). The gluten free crust was amazing, couldn’t tell it was GF. Actually liked it more than the regular crust. The black magic pizza was excellent, padrino was just good.

Just ok - Edit
We were really hoping that the food would match the prices. I expected better food for these prices. The bruschetta was soggy and had no balsamic and the special was a baked Alfredo that was ok, but really salty! Service was sub par.

So much fun and gfo! - Edit
I love this place in WeHo. It’s menu is really authentic Italian but way better because it’s California-ized and made VEGANO! Lots of gluten free options which is rare for a pasta and bread-heavy joint. Extensive wine selection. I can’t resist a Ceasar salad so I had that and the Fritatta. The Ceasar was good and the latter was creative. The shiitake bacon is notable. Bring your omnivorous friends.

Parking in the neighborhood is not difficult.
Price is a bit expensive but the dishes are big and the quality of the food and flavors make it worth it.
Not a lot of tables but they also have a bar were you can eat, I would suggest to make a reservation if you want to secure your place.
Nice ambiance for a date.
Pros: Lots of gf options
