Awesome Pizza, but no time to eat - Edit
First off, we had two pizzas and they were amazing and the staff was very friendly per se. But unfortunately it felt like we should leave as soon as possible even though the restaurant wasn't about to close. They asked if we wanted dessert as I was still eating and then after we said no, brought the check right away - as I was still eating. If you buy two pizzas for 26$ each and beverages for 8$ each, I would at least expect to not have to eat in a hurry. But as I said, the pizza was great.

Fantastic Italian food and wine - Edit
We had an amazing diner at Pura Vita! The caprese salad was fantastic, really simple and fresh ingredients which elevated the taste and is a hallmark of quality Italian food. We really enjoyed the lasagna pura and san gennaro pizza, both were flavourful and not too oily.
Read moreThe super Tuscan wine went very well. And we topped it all off with the zeppole which were scrumptious! It was a memorable meal, I would highly recommend!

Must try! - Edit
I've been here twice now, and every dish is to die for. I'm not exaggerating. The first time I came here, we got the cacio e pepe, the eggplant parm, the mushroom meatballs, the tiramisu, and the zepolles. The eggplant parm was so tasty and crispy. The mushroom meatballs were great, but in comparison to everything else we had ordered, they were just fine. The cacio e pepe was phenomenal, very garlicy and rich.
Read moreThe next time we came here for dinner we got two pizzas, linguine, potato wedges, and the zepolles. I ordered the linguine, there is a ton of garlic and onion in this dish so just beware. It was so good! The scallops were a little tough but still great. I got to try a piece of pizza that my sister had customized and I enjoyed that too. The potato wedges were amazing. The sauce that comes drizzled over them was super creamy and tasty!
Eventually I'll try everything from the menu!
Pros: All vegan, Good wine
Cons: Parking can suck

Fresh ingredients, no fake stuff. The carbonara cream was made from avocados! So yummy. I want to come here every day so I can try everything on the menu. Arancini vallas are delicious too. No photos sorry - was too busy eating.

Definitely visiting again - Edit
Amazing service, incredible food, great atmosphere! I had their killer ceaser salad and cacio e pepe! Couldn’t tell you how pumped I was to give this place a try, and it exceeded expectations! Even my non vegan bf enjoyed his dish and we highly recommend. Excited to go back and try more of their pastas/pizzas ❤️ (cocktails were great too)

Cacio E Pepe is phenomenal, so creamy with a hint of lemon. Amelia and Margherita pizzas are both incredible. We got half mint lemonade and half unsweetened tea, which was very refreshing. The tiramisu was pretty good, very rich, glad we shared.

One of my favorites! I frequent this and the Redondo Beach locations every chance I get! The oyster mushroom scallop pasta dish is my fav! But everything else is always scrumptious. Just try everything, you will thank me!

Two Nights In A Row - Edit
While staying in Redondo Beach we visited this place two nights in a row - so mouth-wateringly good! Their whole menu is organic and vegan, mostly (or all?) made in-house, and amazing. We opted to share the Garlic Parmigiano Potato Wedges and the Diavolina pizza and couldn't finish the pizza. The combination of fresh ingredients were so flavorful that we found each of us making some sort of unconscious pleasurable sound after each bite; not to mention we could not finish the pizza because we were so satiated from the potatoes and only one slice of pizza each. Happy leftovers! The next night we got their famous Carbonara - definitely popular for a reason with its toothy pasta and extra creamy flavor-popping sauce-filled smoky shitake bits - and the cookie skillet for dessert (also a surprising m-u-s-t!). The venue is very romantic and comfortable. The service impeccably friendly and attentive. They have at least a couple locations - highly highly highly recommend if you're ever in their nearby areas. I would be here at least twice a week if I lived closer than 40 miles away.

Separate Pizzeria just for Vegans! - Edit
So so good, all I’ve tried so far is their pizzas! The crust is so good, sometimes comes out burnt but well. Recently I ordered the Diavolina. Loved the sauced used. I think it’s a red pepper vodka sauce. Very creamy. Wish they had vegan ranch! I want to try the calzones next 🥹

Excellent Service Great food - Edit
Buttercup had outpatient surgery in the area so I found myself with a few hours to kill and decided to treat myself to a nice long lunch. I wasn't paying attention to the time and walked 10 minutes before they opened. They let me use the ladies room and said I could take a seat on the patio and somebody would be with me shortly. And they were i had water and menus at 11:02 and then 1 minute later another member of the wait staff came by to make sure I was taken care of. I couldn't decide on what pizza I wanted because I really wanted pizza and They helped me narrow down and I decided on the Amelia.
Read moreWhen it arrived it was everything I wanted in life the arugula was fresh and plentiful. There was so much that I actually made a little salad out of it. I knew I would not be able to finish the pizza and the pizza would travel better without it. The crust was amazing perfectly cooked with the right chew. Cashew cream was on point and I am thinking I will be going back for lunch for the post op check up. Maybe even an adult beverage.

Best vegan Italian food I’ve had thus far. Carbonara is a must have. - Edit
The carbonara was the single most memorable dish from my entire California trip. It was so shockingly authentic. Most places make their carbonara essentially cream pasta with bacon, but this avo-based rendition actually tasted like Italian carbonara! The black magic lasagne was also insane.

The Pura Vita Pizzeria is technically closed on weekdays, but you can still order from their menu at Pura Vita, which is what we did. TRY THE CARCIOFI (crispy artichokes) - this dish was so tasty. We also enjoyed our pizza and salad.

Hard to find good vegan pizza, but these guys really got it right. Great service, a little on the upscale side but definitely not over priced. We tried a pasta dish, an appetizer and a salad, and of course a pizza. Everything was great, the pizza was definitely the highlight for us.
