Just ate here with my family of 5 vegans (three young kids) plus an omnivore and a gluten-free person. Everybody was happy. Server was very knowledgeable. My BBQ burger was very good. The kids all ate a ton of pizza. I also recommend the nachos! Nice beer selection.

Overall very nice experience. Tasty food, big portions at a normal Madrid price, I got revuelto de morcilla and croquetas and I was completely full. Plus the server was very nice, the menu offers many appeling stuff for non vegans, like pizza, burgers, etc. For me a great place to go with non vegans

La atención fue genial, nos sirvieron una tapa riquísima antes de comer. La pizza de cuatro quesos está buenísima y muy lograda. La combinación de la ensaladilla rusa es imprevisible pero queda buenísima, sobre todo por la veganesa. La tarta de chocolate del menú es una pasada. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

I tried the margarita and the barbacoa pizzas and both were lovely and flavourful. The barbacoa had 'chicken' and 'bacon' and both had convincing flavours and textures. The pizza was filling. I especially liked that there were leaflets promoting compassion towards animals and that the restaurant donates money to animal charities.

Great Pizza and best babaganoush in my life - Edit
I have had dinner here a few times now. The first plate available on the menu has the best babaganoush I have ever tried. It also has amazing cauliflower and focaccia. All very very good. I also love the pizzas there!

Siempre ponen tapa con la bebida. El lugar es acogedor y suele haber sitio. No es el más barato de la zona pero tampoco es carísimo. Yo recomendaría las hamburguesas (parte del dinero va a santuarios veganos) ya que las pizzas no tienen nada especial para su precio.

Restaurante pequeñito pero bastante mono decorado. A parte del plato principal nos ofrecieron una tapa para picar, muy buena. El sándwich no estaba nada mal, buena cantidad para el precio que tiene, aunque tampoco es que fuera una cosa extraordinaria... Lo aconsejo si estáis por la zona ! Si vuelvo probaré las pizzas que tenían bastante buena pinta !

Simply great food, best seitan-burger of my life and they do also the best gluten-free bread I've ever tasted. Generous portions, you won't leave hungry. The food is so good I'm writing this while still eating so I won't forget. Dog-friendly place that plays Led Zeppelin.

We are vacationing in Madrid and this place happens to be about 1 minute walking from our apartment (lucky us!). I was hesitant to go because the comments about the food not being great. I'm so happy we gave it a shot! We went on a Wednesday night around 9pm. It was a little busy, but the bar tender/server was very attentive. He gave us a little appetizer of bread and pickled cucumbers while we waited for our food. Came at 6pm for dinner but it was closed. Came back after 15 min later, still closed... I said I will try one more time and then go somewhere else. At 6:30 pm they were open so I entered. I first thought the place is really small but when I went to toilet I discovered there is an additional floor downstairs, not just toilets. My visit in Pura Vida was really awkward as the guy was cleaning the place during my whole visit. Didn't feel comfortable here at all. The pizza I ordered wasn't very good. It was burnt and the vegan cheese was the worst vegan cheese I've ever had in my life... Maybe I just came at the wrong time, I don't know. Tried to finish my meal as fast as possible and leave. Wouldn't go back even though the waiter looked friendly...

Pura Vida is a vegan bar restaurant that serves pizza, burgers, and tapas. I got the nachos, which was a large helping of round tortilla chips piled high with seasoned soy meat, black beans, peppers, cilantro, and some bomb guacamole. This was unbelievably good :) I also got a slice of cake.

I Went to this place for dinner on my last night in Madrid. It was a little too loud, because it was a very small space and we got to sit on bar stools instead of real chairs because the room downstiara was reserved. I ordered the spicy pizza with vegan mozzarella, chorizo, bacon and soy bits for almost 15 euros, which I think was a is a little too excoencive, but understandable for a meal in a big city. The pizza itself tasted pretty good, but it wasn't spicy and they I barerly got any of the vegan meat toppings, I could've taken the margaritha and saved a couple of bucks. My friend got a burger which came along with some fries, this was a little more affordable and went for around 8€. Overall I really liked my pizza and my friend really liked the burger, if I'm coming back to Madrid I'm definitely returning.

I went there with my friends and we shared a pizza, burger and nachos. They brought us some tapas while we waited though service was quite fast considering that the place was packed that day. Everything was really tasty and I liked the fact that they donate a percentage of every burger they sell to an animal rescue foundation. I also tried one of their cheesecakes and it was one of the best I've ever had. I found myself going back almost everyday while I was in Madrid and staff were always super nice and food consistently good. Definitely going back!
