You have to try this place! The location, place, and service is great. Now the food, so yummy ! The croquetas were so good.. I also got the seitan sandwich. Just wow. That flavor and sauce were amazing. The pizza 4 cheeses was good but I wish the cheese were stronger. Just my opinion. Everything was great.

The food was really good. They brought us some free paella as a tapa, which was greatly appreciated. However the waitress was extremely cold, annoyed and, at times, frankly rude from the moment we walked in (even though we were smiling, nice and perfectly polite). We'd never experience anything like it and were quite shocked. Maybe she was just having a bad day but unfortunately that's the main element we take away from our experience at this restaurant. Hopefully our experience will be a bit better when we return because the food is definitely worth it!

I don't understand the bad reviews below. This place has the best croquettes I have ever eaten in my life (even when I was not vegan). If you don't want to miss this typical Spanish tapa, you must try Pura Vida. Very nice staff.

Hice una reserva para cenar y no me avisaron que ese día cerraban antes. Tardaron en traernos la comida y por lo tanto nosotras en irnos, la camarera nos atendió de malas formas y molesta porque parecía que quería irse ya.
Read moreLa comida bastante normal, se come bien pero no es nada del otro mundo. Pedimos pizzas la mayoría y era más una base de tomate que otra cosa. La pizza 4 quesos (por ejemplo) no se notaba más que un queso, todo era el mismo sabor.

Pedí el menú del día por sugerencia de la mesera que incluía bebida, entrante, plato principal y café o postre. Junto a la bebida me sirvieron una tapa muy sabrosa, y los otros dos platos estaban tan bien servidos que no pude pedir el café/postre.

We came here twice and (almost) everything was perfect. It's a nice place and nice staff. The nachos were perfect. The pizza didn't meet our expectations and comes quite expensive at 15€. We are still giving it 5 stars, as long as you avoid the Pizza haha

Finally! A true Vegan Bar in Madrid! - Edit
Happy I decided to stop in to this little spot in La Latina. Of all the places I’ve visited in Madrid, this place actually has a bar that you can sit and eat at. As a solo traveler by choice, It can be awkward to sit at a table. I really enjoy the tapas bar experience in Madrid and have missed it since going vegan. This place doesn’t disappoint. In true tapas bar fashion a tapito comes with your drink. My vino blanco came with a tasty marinated cucumber tosta. The vegan croquetas were very good. The Solidarity burgers are all made in house and 1€ of each burger sold, is donated to a local animal sanctuary. 💗💗💗

Nice decor reminds a traditional southern spanish bar, small but with an underground floor with tables for dinner. Nice atmosphere and bar, perfect to have some beers because they'll bring you some delicious vegan tapas along!

We had the tacos for starters (one portion was definitely enough for us two) and then decided to go for the pizza - it was absolutely delicious, the vegan cheese seemed to be homemade and was absolutely great.. not like the everyday storebought cheese. The place was cozy and the staff was very friendly! Well come again :)

We ordered the vegan platter with smoked aubergine which came with a tahini sauce, roasted cauliflower, potato with sundries tomato’s and avocado. We also ordered the tortilla (vegan version of the Spanish omelette, this was my fav) and the croquettes!
