Come for the desserts. - Edit
This tiny whole in the wall cafe reminds me more of a coffee shop with tread than a restaurant or lunch spot. However, they do have decent takeaway sandwiches. I had the soup and jack fruit potato filling, sans potato, my first time here and the soup was not my favorite but still had a nice quality too it. My favorite thing I’ve had is the millionaire dessert bar. I’ve had it twice and both times it was delicious.

Tasty, nutritious food - Edit
Excellent salads and raw cakes. Unfortunately the salads are all already individually packaged so even if you eat in you create waste. That does make it a good option if you need lunch quickly though

Gorgeous Grassmarket haven - Edit
Pumpkin Brown is amazing. I went to get a desert and was impressed with the choice - all vegan! Very tasty deserts but also feel really nutritious. Perfect central location too. Will 100% go again!

So so good - Edit
Cute bistro, had the vegetable curry which was good. Also tried the apple crumble - heaven for dessert lovers! They offer various plant-based milks and the staff was so friendly and genuine. Also the location is amazing.

Cute! All vegan fresh food! - Edit
Love this place! Super cute, staff are lovely. Although a little expensive but everything is FRESH and super tasty. Music is a little loud so can’t chill for very long inside say reading your book (like I do) but they’ve a seating area outside if it’s not raining 👌

Outstanding - Edit
A really good vegan restaurant, right in the touristy city centre. They do a lot of 'pulled' jackfruit, which tastes amazing. The coffee is also quite good and the cakes looked amazing (also I was not hungry enough to try one). Definitely go here!

Best healthy place in Edinburgh - Edit
If you eat healthy, organic, unrefined, high raw, and oil free, then this is the only place that will provide this in Edinburgh. Plus, the food is so good. The açaí bowl is one of the best I’ve had, if not the best. And it’s hard to find raw cakes that are delicious and done right. Their lemon blueberry cheesecake is amazing!

Good food, limited choice - Edit
We had the soup and the satay curry. The curry was lovely and good value at £6.50. The soup was a bit watery and they had run out of bread so at £4.50 it wasn't great value. These were the only choices which weren't salads.
Read moreThe only cakes are raw which I don't particularly like and they had very loud rock music playing at 2 in the afternoon which I wasn't a fan of.

Staff here were lovely and if you like raw cake it's the place for you. I was personally hoping for more selection though. The fridge stuff was expensive but the hot dish of the day looked good. Didn't really enjoy the risky hot drink I got but the smoothie was nice.

Lovely vegan/gf lunch & dessert - Edit
What a find - the whole menu is vegan, as well as gluten free, with the bonus of being refined sugar free and organic.
Read moreWe had the daily changing hot lunch option - a coconut, chickpea, squash & spinach curry - which was delicious and filling - but we saved room for dessert, trying the cookies & cream slice & the apple crumble.
The whole meal was super-tasty and reasonably priced.
