Awesome food and nice interior - Edit
Was delighted to find such a good vegan restaurant near my hotel. I tried the BBQ burger, which was really yummie. The straff was friendly, and I love the fast that all profits go to charity 💜

Great dinner spot - Edit
I ate at P.S. once, the decor is great and this is a fancier restaurant than most NYC vegan places (and pricier) so it's good for a date or before a show or for a birthday celebration. I tried a burger which was pretty good but not my favorite thing ever so I would try the lasagna next time just to have something new.

Yeah baby. Chickn Caesar - Edit
I haven’t had a chicken Caesar since going vegan. I couldn’t resist. It was fabulous. The chicken was like a schnitzel. I paired it with a glass of Rose. Yum. Desert was a brownie and desert wine.

Great atmosphere, staff, and food! - Edit
We went here right before a matinee of Waitress. The decor was modern, clean, and inviting. The waitstaff were all very friendly without being abrasive. To start we had the potato soup, which was delicious. For lunch we had a Green Goddess salad, perfectly dressed and well balanced, and the Bratwurst, which had a great pretzel bun, crispy thin cut fries, and a sausage that a meat eater didn’t realize was vegan. Great experience! Looking forward to coming back the next time we are in NYC and near the theater.

Nice 1st NY meal! - Edit
I love that profit go toward charity--big tick there. The food itself was fine. Possibly a little expensive, but I'm fine with that money finding its way to people with far less than myself.

A stunning vegan restaurant! - Edit
PS Kitchen is clean and modern, with an unrivalled friendly service and a really rather special menu. I opted for my first try of the cult ‘Beyond Burger’, which I was so excited about, and the house truffle fries.
Read moreThe Beyond Burger was scarily realistic, so much so that my meat-eating friend said she wouldn’t have known it wasn’t meat! It came served with queso, thousand island and fries. Yes we ordered double fries. Don’t judge us, we were carbing up ready for a strenuous flight home to the UK….
The house truffle fries were literally TO DIE FOR.
To be honest I think I may have almost died because I ate so many of the delicious little critters. We just couldn’t stop eating them! The truffle flavour is like nothing else on the planet and they were salty and crispy and incredibly, incredibly delicious.
The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and the service was the best we experienced in our trip to NYC. Fab all round AND they donate their profits to charity - could it get any better?
Pros: They donate profits to charity, The truffle fries are incredible, Best service in NYC!

Wanted to love it - Edit
I wanted to love PS Kitchen. An upscale vegan joint in the heart of midtown? Yes please. The atmosphere is nice, and the servers are really warm. I love the mission—100% of the profits are given to charity. That’s what we consoled ourselves with after we paid the high-end tab for what is essentially pub food. It tastes fine, but sadly nothing inventive. We had the crispy artichokes, which I expected to be tempura style, but instead were deep-fried beyond recognition and so hot they were difficult to taste. The orzo and lasagna were fine, but nothing special. I would go back for a drink, but I certainly wouldn’t take non-vegan friends here to impress with vegan food. It pains me to write this, it’s the first negative review I’ve given on HC, but a vegan place in Times Square could be such an opportunity to open people’s minds to vegan cuisine. Feels like a missed opportunity.

A Vegans must stop! - Edit
I’m forever looking for Vegan Plant Based restaurants and this place hits a home run! We shared the Caesar salad, “wings”, BBQ beyond burger and lasagna! Topped off with the banana bread! Don’t judge!;) I had a hard workout!:) Erin was awesome 🙏🏻 AND that you donate all profit to those 5 amazing charities! I asked to see the owner to give them a hug but they had already left! So many great reasons to eat here! Even if your not Plant Based! Can’t wait to come back✌🏻

Very cozy restaurant with dimmed lights. The food was very nice. I had a feast on the beyond burger, my first one and it didn't disappoint. The steak is very close to the real ones, with added artificial vegan "bleeding".

Winning strawberry shortcake - Edit
Delicious! Service and ambiance were great. Upstairs is quieter than the downstairs bar area so I appreciated the hostess seating me upstairs. My “thymeless” cocktail was tasty and unique. Loved the Orzo Alfredo for my main dish, every bite was so good. For dessert I had the strawberry shortcake - I need this recipe, the cake was so moist and delicious.

Way too expensive for sub par food - Edit
The atmosphere is very classy, and gives off a theme of elegance and style. The first floor was much more noisy, but the second floor was quieter, and less crowded. I had the “chicken pot pie” which was basically just a biscuit, mushy carrots & peas, and the “chicken” which really just tasted like fatty bread— not that good, and some plain gravy. There wasn’t much flavor to it and it was pretty expensive ($20). The steamed bun appetizer was better, extremely spicy and also very pricy for only two buns ($14). My friends got the congee, beyond burgers, and fries, which were okay— nothing too great/ kind of bland. I don’t think that the food served here is high enough quality to charge so much. I appreciate that it donates to local charities, but I think the food should taste better. Really wanted to like this place, it just didn’t hit the mark.
