Desapointing

Very small portions for the price. However, the plates generally have very few actual vegetables. For example, the orzo plate is described as being accompanied by broccoli, but I only got 1 piece. However the staff is very kind. Food was lacking flavor and originality.

High expectations, disappointing results

Very small portions for the price you pay. If you’re into imitations of non vegan food, you’ll like this place. However, the plates generally have very few actual vegetables. For example, the orzo plate is described as being accompanied by broccoli, but I only got two tiny stems. Service quite slow. However the staff is very kind. Very nice concept and atmosphere but food was lacking flavor and originality.

Great food long wait

My mom and I went once for dinner and got salads we waited about 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order then another over 30 minutes for the food. It was delicious but a long wait as it was busy. The staff was sweet though and gave us a discount. (And we were glad bc it is very expensive) We came back once more another night for dessert and it was so quieter so it wasn’t as long of wait. All delicious food though and they give money to charities.

Pros: All vegan, Tasty

Cons: Overpriced, Long long wait

Great food and service

Nice food and great service. Really love that they give the profits to charity too. It's a nice little escape from the hectic pace of Times Square too

Great find on Happy Cow as we walked down 8th ave. Had a great dinner!

Everyone was super nice and I love that they donate their profits and employ those in need in NYC. The food was all yummy, especially the buffalo maitake mushrooms and the artichoke hearts. The kids loved the desserts too. We all had Beyond burgers which totally hit the spot. My daughter also loved the Caesar salad with avocado.

Pros: Buffalo maitake mushrooms, Great service and nice mission, Pretzel buns on Beyond burgers were delish

Cons: Bit pricy, as expected in NYC

Vegan in Times Square!

This place was so good and prices very reasonable for the center of tourist hell! Was great to be able to bring my out of town red to a good food spot near their hotel! The plating is gorgeous and wait staff very helpful and nice.

Pros: Location, Price fix

Cons: Location!😄I'll only go when forced into TS

Fabulous!

This place has the best vibes! I love it here. If you’re vegan, this is the place to be. Be there ... in Times Square or be square!

Pros: All vegan, Proceeds get donated

Cons: Pricey, but it’s Times Square so meh

We were tired and hungry!

We had buffalo wings which were cauliflower and perfectly spiced! Then chicken pot pie and beyond burger, which we shared half each. Pro tip: deconstruct the burger and save the bread, then use it at the end for the pie sauce! Delicious dumpling on top of the ‘pie’. Defo book your table in advance.

Pros: Perfectly spiced food

Cons: Busy place, defo book ahead!

Great pre-show dinner

Great food options in a cute location right off of Times Square. Reservations are recommended we were seated as soon as we arrived. The staff made accommodations for my 10 year old’s picky palate. Highly recommend the potato soup and truffle fries. I also had the PS burger (Beyond) and it was delicious. Great food and location if you are heading to a show!

Pros: Full vegan menu, Tasty cocktail options, Accommodating staff

Cons: NA

Burgers too Meatlike

Our dinner here was pleasant, but noisy. The upstairs is slightly less noisy than below. The maitake steamed bun (open) was very good, as was the potato soup. I tried the PS Burger, which uses Beyond Burger. It was a little too meat like for me, I prefer a more traditional vegan burger. The desserts were good - we had a very dense mousse pie, a nice apple cobbler and some ice cream. Service was excellent.

Cons: noisy

Great find! Great concept!

We were in town to attend the theater on the evening of Halloween. This restaurant was a 5 minute walk from the Richard Rogers Theater. Food was delicious and staff was very helpful and friendly. Profits go to local and international charities.F

Pros: Completely vegan, Creative menu, Friendly staff

Cons: Can’t think of any.

Overpriced and tasteless

The farro bowl was overpriced, small and tasteless without the very oily dressing and hot sauce. The avocado toast was noting special and also overpriced. My lunch cost $35 and I left still hungry!
Focus of the staff seemed to be on the alcoholic drinks!

Cons: Expensive , The only seasoning was in a very oily dressing, Small portions

A trip nightlight!

Stopped by for dinner and was delighted. Beautiful decor, friendly staff, great food and an excellent drinks menu. If only I’d room for dessert.

Can't Miss It!

On our vacation to New York we stopped by PS the first day. It was beyond outstanding, and quickly became our go to establishment. The food is delicious, the service wonderful and the drinks strong ;)

You can't miss out on the BBQ burger. I feel like I'm now ruined for burgers, as they could never be as good as that one. We are going to miss it!

Pros: All vegan, Incredible food, Great service

Cons: Expensive

Great “Knock-off” place

Excellent service. Trendy atmosphere. Fried Artichoke appetizer. I had lasagna (delicious with vegan ricotta), and my friend had pot pie (Soupie but also great). We had brownie with ice cream and cheesecake for dessert.

Pros: Excellent choices , Service great

Cons: A little pricey, but it was a nice place in NYC!!

Underwhelming

I had been dying to try 100% vegan PS Kitchen since booking a cruise in 2016 and New York being the first port.

I chose a Green Goddess salad to share with my husband, it was nice but not mind blowing and overpriced in my opinion, but this is New York prices.
The Beyond Burger, served on a brioche bun was not the substantial dish I was expecting either, so regretted ordering only a salad starter.

The burger itself is quite amazing, reminiscent of the burgers I would help my mum make at home, when I was a kid. The last photo shows how meat like it is, with a lean, moist texture, it was a pretty [censored] fine burger, although I was hesitant it would be too meaty in flavour, but I found it subtle, otherwise I would have struggled to eat it. However I thought the accompaniments were a let down, the burger was the star of the show.

They had no gluten free buns, so poor hubby had to make do with the burger wrapped in blanched lettuce leaves, not ideal however he was here purely for the burger and it matched up to his expectations.

We could not resist brownie with coconut ice cream, which we shared, as we were headed back to the ship, for a four course dinner later. This was an awesome dessert, chocolate and coconut are a perfect combination and with the caramel drizzle, we were both licking our lips.

I enjoyed PS Kitchen, though sadly I think my expectations got the better of me and I left feeling underwhelmed.

Resto branché

J'ai essayé leur BBQ burger et franchement... Dans le style imitation de steak grillé façon barbecue, aussi bien dans les saveurs que dans la texture, c'est le meilleur burger que j'ai goûté ! Pour le moment...

What a burger

Thought I would try the Beyond burger and was not disappointed, cooked well and presented beautifully. It was a surprise to find P. S. to be such a fancy restaurant and it was a delight to eat there.
