Nice - Edit
Went here for lunch the other day. Was friendly, welcoming and chilled. Food was tasty. Would go again - proffered the chicken burger to the fish tacos but both were nice.

Favourite vegan cafe in Nottingham - Edit
I’ve been visiting Prickly Pear since it opened and it opened and it is so delicious! They are keeping on top of changing menus to meet peoples requests but to change things up as well. Loads of options, reasonable prices and student discount!

Best vegan food in Notts city centre by a country mile. Lizzi and Marc are both lovely and will make you feel right at home. Check it out!

God-tier vegan grub - Edit
Completely fantastic, again. Delicious, satisfying food and very reasonably priced, which is normally the issue with vegan cafes. From nourishing buddah bowls to lip-smacking fry ups and sticky BBQ 'ribs', the menu is absolutely loaded with nutritious boosts, filthy sleaze, and everything in-between! So good I stayed after breakfast and ordered lunch! If anyone ever asks "what do vegans eat?", send them to the Prickly Pear! Also, INSANE milkshakes.

Vegan Soul Food - Edit
This new fully vegan cafe on the outskirts of Nottingham town centre is wonderful.
Read moreThe staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Lizzie (the owner) is really chatty and cooks in front of you in the open kitchen.
The menu is exciting and full of vegan junk/soul food with healthy whole food options too. There is a small kids menu which is great for families.
Service was quite slow but certainly worth the wait as everything was made fresh.
Myself and my family are vegan and it was so great to be able to go to a cafe and not have to think about what we can eat. Everything on the menu is vegan! Hooray!
My son loved the mac and cheese, I had the No’Fricken chicken burger and my mum really enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich with jack fruit. It was super filling but I couldn’t resist the chocolate mocha cake to take away, it was moist, super chocolatey and the mocha icing was divine.
Cant wait to come again :)
Pros: Good value for money, Lovely staff, Delicious food
Cons: Limited seating

Superb Budha bowl and berry smoothie - Edit

Great atmosphere, vegan options available - Edit
I love the atmosphere, especially during summer on the rooftop (outdoor seating). Quite a few vegetarian options, can be made vegan if asked. On weekends often crowded.
