Good food and excellent smoothies and shakes. Remind that the curries aren't vegan (fish sauce), every vegetarian /vegan dish has a star. Prices are good.

I live on Samui and decided to spend a few days in Mae Nam at a resort. When I saw that prava was close by I got excited. But I must say. Was a little disappointed. I always have a green juice in the morning and when I got there they said they don’t do any juices on that day, only shakes And when I wanted to order falafel they didnt have that either. I got the crutide plate as I wanted vegan food, which wasnt bad. The hummus was good. Their prices are also very reasonable.

I did my visa extension on Samui and very satisfied that Happy Cow suggested this restaurant. I had a super tasty macrobiotic plate. I haven’t eaten long time such a delicious food that was so balanced. Definitely gonna visit again when coming back to Samui. Sadly can’t give them 5 stars since they also offer seafood and meat but the food is worth of 5 stars for sure.

Happy Cow only allows 5 star reviews for fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants. I didn’t know that, and assumed it was rated four star from everyone on purpose. MY rating is 5 Star. Delicious meal! The smoothies are sweet but not fake-sweet. They taste yummy and healthy! My husband and I both got the Thai fried cashews and veggies with shrimp.(We’re pescatarian.) wonderful! They even turned off the music when we asked, which is amazing. Loved it!

We were in Mae Nam for an afternoon of swimming (HIGHLY recommend this beach - it’s beautiful and quiet) and saw Prava on Happy Cow so we decided to give it a go. The cafe is small but comfortable. The menu is pretty big with a lot of different vegan options and other items can be made veg on request. I had the pumpkin pakora tacos and falafel/hummus platter. Both were delicious but those tacos are LIFE! Yum!! Also the fruit shake was the best I’ve had in Thailand yet. The lovely waitress also gave us little complimentary coconut cakes which was super yummy. We hope to visit again before we leave - there’s lots of other items I want to try! **Please note that it is called Prava Tiki Tapas on google maps**

Happy and satisfied with vegan meals! - Edit
My boyfriend and I were eating at Prava now two times in the last days because we really liked the food! We are both vegan and they have lots of vegan dishes that tasted super good and fresh! Also the restaurant is very clean and the people working there were always friendly.

We loved Prava so much that we ate there three times! The menu was very varied and the food was delicious. I would especially recommend the fruit shakes! The service was also great and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely time.

Been many times in the last 2 years and every dish was really good. They even make Tom Yum soup vegetarian with vege/herb broth. The veg burgers are amazing in case you need a change from thai. And carnivores are catered for too. The service is so lovely and attentative. Will come back again and again.

Read morePrava was our favourite restaurant on Koh Samui and we came here three times in one week!
There is so much choice for vegetarians (not sure about vegan), and my non-vegetarian other half was just as happy with the veggie and non veggie fare.
Thai food is cheaper than 'western' and just as tasty. We tried yellow curry, falafels and a mezze board and breakfast - all was delicious.
The staff were so friendly, and you get a complementary cake at the end of your meal (always a plus for me).
Pros: Thai and Western food available, Lots of vegetarian choice, Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Western food is slightly more expensive

My wife and I stopped in here during a Visa extension and had the Vegan Mezza Platter and a side of Felafels. The found was really delicious and a nice change from what we'd been having on Koh Tao.

Went there many times and especially our mom loved their 'macronutrient plate'. Many different options in the meny and everything we got to taste was good, though the portions were small. The staff knew well what vegan means and you can veganise almost everything. We'd recommend to taste 'vegan club sandwich' at least!

We ate here about 4 times during our stay on Saumi. I really enjoyed the quesadillas and the veg tempura. I took a pic of the huevos rancheros but I thought it was a bit dry. Also the pad Thai is one of the best around, for size, price, value and taste.

I think the location is wrong on Happy Cow. It is located on the Mae Nam Thursday walking street.

We've been several times to Prada during our stay in Koh Samui, Maenam. The owner and the stuff are really nice and spoke English very well.
