Great Vibe - Edit
Good food. Small dining area. On nice days they open the big warehouse doors. Great place for lunch or after yoga. Specials sell out often.

Great food and fast - Edit
Needed to grab a meal before catching my train and this place ended up being perfect. I ordered my food to go. I got the jackfruit carnitas burrito (you could pick rice or quinoa in it), a side of the hot smokey tempeh and a local kombucha. Food was ready quickly and I was on my way. Everything was delicious and flavorful.

Great Spot - Edit
Great spot for gluten free and vegan food. I especially like their waffle, chili bowl, and iced matcha latte with coconut milk but everything is delicious.

The food is absolutely delicious and is a mixture of many tastes. I ordered ‘Dragon bowl with fried tempeh’. Yum-yum! Definitely I will be back.

Yummy Bowls - Edit
Went to Prasad around 7pm on a Saturday night and it seemed kinda deserted but the staff seemed really busy in the kitchen prepping so we ordered anyway. Thank goodness we did because the Chipotle Chili Bowl and the Dragon Bowl with Sesame Miso sauce were delicious. Turns out that they are really busy at lunchtime on Saturdays, not so much on Saturday evenings. We will be back next time we visit Portland!

Cute place! - Edit
I was surprised how cozy the restaurant area was despite being in a yoga studio. I felt like I was in a separate restaurant. It was nothing like those juice bars you see in gyms. I had amazing avocado toast and a latte while I used the WiFi and caught up on emails. Great place.

The best plant based food! - Edit
Prasad is my absolute favorite place to eat! Not only is it all plant based but the food is beautiful and delicious! I also love knowing that anything I order is incredibly healthy for me (you can't say that about all plant based meals).
Read moreThis is my go to restaurant when I need a feel good healthy meal. My husband and I stop in often to grab date night dinners as we are out and about in the Pearl.
On top of the food they also have incredible smoothies, juices, and more!

Not Sure I Would Try It Again - Edit
Well, my first and only experience with Prasad did not get off to a good start. I took the bus and eagerly awaited Prasad east to open for the day. Upon arrival, I was told that the opening employee had not shown up and that they would be opening in about 40 minutes. By this time, I was already pretty hungry since they don't open until 9 am anyway and it was already 9:00. So, I decided to hop on the bus and head down to Prasad in the Pearl District. The vibe was nice, and the service was decent. But, when my oatmeal arrived, that is where my fondness for this place ended. I love oatmeal, but I must say that this was the blandest oatmeal I have ever had. It said that it was served with seasonal fruit. What I got was watery, tasteless oatmeal with apples and raisins actually cooked into the oatmeal so they were mushy. There were a few berries, bananas, and raw apple slices on top. I generally do not put "milk" or maple syrup in my oatmeal but added both just to get enough flavor to get it down. I would have taken the oatmeal back and ordered something different if it hadn't been so busy and I hadn't been so hungry. Perhaps, I ordered the only substandard item on the menu. I will admit that I was really hungry and very much looking forward to a good breakfast, so maybe my expectations were too high. It is possible that will get up the courage to give this place another try on my next visit to Portland, but not sure.

Cool location, expensive for portions. - Edit
I poured the Tabor Bowl, a side of hot smokey tempeh, and a hot chocolate. Cost about 18$. The portion was WAY too small for me for the price, and too rich. The idea and combination of flavors was good though.

One of the best vegan places in Portland. It's inside a yoga studio. You order at the counter then they bring you your food. Everything I have had is delicious. Wish they had a restaurant in mcminnville. :)
