Cool cafe! ☕️

I love this cafe. Their coffee is amazing, they have great vegan options. They even do a vegan burger which is so tasty.

Been here a few tines. I’ve had their vegan waffles and pancakes and they are both so tasty. Their oat milk latte is pretty good too.

Pros: Great vegan options, Friendly staff

Cons: Some options only available at certain times, Could have better breakfast options for vegans

Good vegan pancakes and waffles

Vegan waffles and vegan pancakes (pancakes on a separate menu, many different basics to choose from) and different plant-based milks for coffee or tea

Vegan beans on toast was superb start

Vegan beans on toast. Awesome! Great coffee. Great staff. Not a huge selection of vegan food but worth it for the beans on toast

Yummy pancakes

I ordered the pancakes. You can choose from many items that you want to add to your pancakes, even a homemade Nutella! It can get expensive though depending how much you add

Pros: Lots of other vegan items on the menu too, Beautiful decor

Cons: Expensive

Excellent vegan pancakes!

Tried to go to the other Póg in Dublin and it was absolutely packed so walked to the one on Tara Street which, surprise surprise, was also absolutely packed... But as I was drooling over their pancakes on Instagram, I was determined to wait and try them for myself. I waited in the queue for about 15 minutes which wasn't too bad and the staff tried their best to get us seated as quickly as possible.
The pancake menu was essentially a slip of paper and you ticked the options you wanted (there were so many). I chose maple syrup, berries and coconut and also ordered the charcoal lemonade (mostly out of curiosity than anything). The pancakes did not disappoint, were super fresh, tasty and filling. The charcoal lemonade was actually so good. The charcoal left a weird feeling on your teeth but I took that as a good thing and hoped my teeth would be whiter on leaving the restaurant (win-win).
Everything was relatively well priced and the staff were all friendly despite the incredibly packed restaurant.
The only negative part of my experience (which is by no means the fault of the restaurant) was the only place that we could be seated was at a bench against the wall behind a large pillar. The guy sitting next to us just had a coffee and was working on his laptop, and he had a HUGE sports bag plonked on the ground behind him, meaning I had difficulty getting in and out and the staff struggled to get to us.
