Really delicious - Edit
I am a huge fan of Ella's cookbooks but that would not change the fact that I really enjoyed my lunch at Ella's. You can choose among at least four meals or just have a bit from each to create your own bowl. All my choices were delicious and the place is super cozy and has a cute vibe. I wish to come back to try more next time.

Nice place - Edit
We went there in the afternoon, had a raw chocolate-orange brownie which was really nice, a tea and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a bit disappointing, not sweet enough (maybe they're trying to make it healthier?). Nice atmosphere and decor. The savory foods looked appetizing. For sweets I had expected more options, they only had banana bread and brownies.

Fresh, nutritious and tasty - Edit
There’s quite a good selection of salads and hot meals, which are always tasty, fresh and nutritious. The staff have always been very helpful, and the cakes in here are delicious! It’s a little pricey for the portion sizes though.

Disappointing - Edit
The place is nice, and the staff is lovely. I tried the banana bread and did not like it (too dry and sweet). The savory options looked nice but I did not try them

Simple well prepared food - Edit
Felt like home cooking - not restaurant cooking, I mean you can taste the quality and flavors. I was afraid it would be too sweet as I tend to reduce by half the amount of sweetener in Ella’s recipes.
Read moreChocolat brownies : gooey and savory
Pancakes + Jam: great combo
Chai: not spicy enough in my opinion
I didn’t try the smoothie but I liked that it was 3 options (unlike many places that have not so great combo but 10 different kind..)
Prices more than reasonable given the central location and quality of the food
Pros: Good food , Kind staff, Location
Cons: Chai more spicy maybe?

Nice but ... - Edit
Food was excellent, but not only there was a long queue, the guy at the cash register was just useless. It took ages to be able to pay and therefore the food was almost cold.

Free tasters. Food was undercooked and bland. - Edit
I was really un impressed with there salads they had no flavour what’s so ever. The Dahl’s would of been a better chose as they seemed to have more favour.

Decent option near Oxford Street - Edit
It’s definitely useful to have a quick drop in vegan stop near Oxford Street, but I can’t help feeling the food is a bit boring here. It’s healthy, and fairly tasty, but a bit old school vegan. It’s always busy though so maybe that’s just my opinion!

Mediocreish - Edit
Nice salad but don’t get much for what you buy so I ended up getting quite a bit and it costing me a fair amount. The cinnamon milk drink is incredible though! Food is nice but there’s nothing too special on the menu that you couldn’t whip up at home quickly apart from maybe the satay aubergine!

Pros: Amazing milkshake drinks , Nice location
Cons: Expensive, Busy , Staff aren’t so hopeful

The food agrees with the name: absolutely delicious! - Edit
I am a big fan of Ella and I am happy to say that my food experience at her deli did not disappoint in the slightest.
Read moreFirstly, I love how the entire space looks. Beautiful but simple decor, inviting and cozy atmosphere and lots of natural light. The cafe has limited space so you might have to wait a little until you get a free spot. However, I’d say that the worth is wait.
The service is not the friendliest or most accommodating ever but it is still good enough.
My sister went for the Pesto pevide massa with cherry tomatoes and arugula (one of the daily dishes from the menu). My mum and I decided to build our own bowls. My mum ordered the harissa chickpea & sweet potato salad with crisp-tender wild broccoli with lemon and almonds and a lentils and herby mint salad.
I went for the spiced tahini roasted cauliflower, cabbage & beet coleslaw , sweet corn fritters (that were so YUMMY and not greasy at all) and a crazy-good creamy mint pea hummus. This was undoubtedly one of the food highlights of my trip. Everything - literally everything - was as delicious as it looks!
Pros: Freshly prepared delicious food, A wide variety of food options, All vegan
Cons: Staff could be more friendly, Limited seating

Great location, OK food - Edit
I like the concept of the deli and liked the variety of food, at prices that are appropriate for this location.
Read moreThe food was alright (tbh I was disappointed), but not great at all.
I had the build your own 3-salad plate (which tasted OK) and a brownie (which was way too sweet, did not like it)
The portions were good, I just did not like the taste. Maybe give it another try next time in London
Pros: Great that there is a vegan deli in this area, Good variety of food, Nice setting
Cons: First floor often very crowded, Good a bit bland

nice place, bland food - Edit
Posh location in London’s Mayfair where you don’t normally find vegan places. That said, would not call this a restaurant as the food was most likely prepared miles away. To our disappointment it was neither tasty nor fresh. Would not go back.

OK place - Edit
It has a wide variety of breakfast on the go items, gluten-free options as well. We had sourdough avocado mash toast, and too be honest it wasn't good or bad, just overpriced and barely worth remembering.

Good but not spectacular - Edit
They have a couple of hot options but most people go for the salad buffet. I opted for the 3 salads for 9.95 (I think) and went for the cauliflower, aubergine, and orzo. When I got the till it came to over 12 pounds. I queried this and was told that the aubergine was extra but this was not made clear and certainly the server was not particularly helpful, although the girl at the till was at least sympathetic. The food was good, although it might have been nicer to have more than three choices of smaller quantities (overall quantity was good). There are some seats on the ground floor and more down in the basement and you might have to share a table if busy.

Nice but Not the best London has to offer - Edit
The staff were very lovely and even let me try the nut butter selection before putting it on my banana bread but the food wasn’t the best London has to offer. The cake was nice but in comparison to other places I don’t think I’d be visiting again...

Really good but too much plastic - Edit
The food was great, and also the price was fair in my opinion (even though I red a lot of reviews complaining about it). The only thing is plastic, I think they could reduce it in the take away.

Nice curry and soup - Edit
Our lunch here was a very nice sweet potato curry with rice, and a carrot ginger soup, also nice. Seating could be at a big communal picnic table. The place is small but cheery. It is convenient to Oxford St.

My favourite place - Edit
I am lucky enough to work just around the corner from this place and therefore go there almost every day, usually twice a day as I get my breakfast and lunch from there. I love the food - there are plenty of options and the menu changes every so often providing seasonal options. There is nothing not to love about this place. The decor, the staff are friendly and if it wasn’t for this place (gluten free as well!) I don’t think I could have such a positive vegan existence. Thank you Ella and the team!

Not great - Edit
I was excited to come here after seeing there is a fully vegan place off Oxford street, but i was quite disappointed. Maybe it was just a fluke but it was the case for us there 3 days ago.
Read moreFor starters the staff did not provide all the information we needed, every table we wanted to sit in was dirty, we ended up cleaning our table just to sit in, and even as the waitress came by to clean other tables, she just took the dirty dishes, didn't clean the table really. It was an unpleasant experience for us.
The only thing that salvaged the place was the food. I took the Shakshuka, and my sister took the Avocado toast, both were good (not great, but good). I think these are easy fixes - making the staff more aware of cleanliness, and more informational towards tourists.
Pros: Good food, Fast turnaround of food
Cons: Tables were dirty, staff was mediocre at best

Over priced. Over hyped. - Edit
Tiny portions of plastic wrapped fast food. No care for plastic waste, customer service or filling up customers. Went on a busy weekend and it just felt like they wanted to get you in and out asap. The food is fine but they place is over hyper, expensive and just not worth it. Would not go again.
