As there are not many vegan restaurants in Helsinki (I was quite surprised and disappointed by this actually) Kippo makes for a decent quick afternoon lunch/smoothie. It’s a counter service cafe located on the third floor inside a mall… also not very exciting. I tried their King Bowl. It was good but certainly nothing to rave about.

Every time Sonja goes to Helsinki, she visits Kippo. It's a must! After trying all the breads, Sir Pesto is definitely Sonja's favorite. There are also delicious juices, of which Redhead with strawberry and ginger is absolutely marvelous. Nice place in the center of Helsinki for a quick take away snack! (Emma likes this place too!)

Probably the best vegan sandwiches Ive had. Tried the sir pesto and chili the kid and both were excellent. Location wise wish they had a proper small place with nice seating instead of shopping mall. Nice staff.

The Zohan sandwich was delicious. My (omni) sister had the Avot and liked it as well. They are made to order and didn't take long.

It's located in a mall, so it isn't really the nicest place to dine in, but it's not much of a con since it's good for take away if you're taking the train.

Sanwiches very nice, we visit nearly every time we come to Helsinki. Average sandwich price 8 euros, good value especially considering how expensive it is to eat in this city. Only quibble would be over the hot drinks, not enough choice and the coffee always from a flask - fresh is best! Also service could be more friendly. They have stamp cards, but when asked why they don't offer them actively, the short answer was: " It depends."

Kippo hat eine geräumige Ecke im Shopping Center. Die Bowls sind riesig und ich behaupte Eine reicht für den ganzen Tag. Der Erdnussbutter Smoothie ist auch geil. Alles zusammen 20€ und damit nicht mehr ganz billig.

This cafe is such a cute place! We tried Chilli the Kid and Johnny Cashew sandwiches and King Pesto quinoa bowl. Sandwiches were so delicious with a hint of chili. Quinoa bowl was really big and filling. A small minus is that this place is a bit expensive, but on the other hand the price level of Finland is expensive.
