Absolutely Wonderful. - Edit
We came here a couple days before Valentine’s Day for a lunch date. We ended up running late for our reservation due to the trucker protests holding up traffic, and the restaurant actually reached out to us asking if we needed to push our reservation later, which was great. The decor in this spacious restaurant is gorgeous. Our kind server was very knowledgeable and service was quick. We ordered the rainbow roll, cauliflower tots, bang bang broccoli and Singapore noodles. It was all good - the sushi and broccoli were my favourites. I’d order a different noodle dish next time as I felt the dish was a little dry but still tasty. Overall, we had a great experience and I’d love to eat here again (as well as try the other Planta locations)

Go here. Spend the money. It's worth it. The truffle udon noodles are one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. The sushi was phenomenal. The presentation on everything was superb.

Gorgeous - Edit
This restaurant has taste written all over. The place is gorgeous, wherever you look it is only beauty and richness. The food is the same. We had the Japanese sweet potatoes first, to die for, crispy on the outside, melting-in-your-mouth in the inside. Then a wonton soup, wonderful miso based soup with fresh herbs that tasted so good -I’m usually not a fan of miso soups, the braised baby bokchoys were, again, so tasty and cooked to perfection, still a bit crunchy and juicy, and we had the Hakka noodles in a fragrant Thaï coconut curry sauce with again fresh herbs. The only negative note was the tofu, large cubes of pure white bland, absolutely tasteless. The service was very friendly.

6 stars 🤩♥️ - Edit
I would give 6 stars to this place if I could. The place is amazingly beautiful and huge. The staff takes really good care of the customers and gives a super service. The food is WOWWW. It’s original and super tasty. I shared 5 plates with my boyfriend plus a dessert. My favorites were the ahi watermelon nigiri and the udon noodles. I also had a very good mocktail, the matcha mojito! Definitely on my bucket list everytime I will go to Toronto!

A WHOLE NEW PLANT BASED EXPERIENCE - Edit
If you ever have the chance to go to Planta Queen, you are in for a treat. Not only was this some of the best vegan food I've ever had, Planta Queen is a whole experience. This place is perfect for date nights, fancy dinners, etc. It has such an upscale feel that I've never had at other vegan restaurants. Everything that we tried was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Dragon Roll and Bang Bang Broccoli!!

Dined here once after they opened and thought the decor was stunning. Such a cute little spot in the heart of the city. The food was outstanding. I have yet to go back because of Covid but I can say I don’t love their menu for “takeout”

High end vegan restaurant - Edit
This place is more pricey than the average Toronto vegan restaurant, but the food is incredibly delicious. They filled the gap of vegetarian haven closing for me, and serve as the perfect place to take my partner on a romantic special date. The atmosphere is very unique and beautiful itself and really adds to the intense flavour of all the dishes.

The best! - Edit
Nowhere in Toronto does a better Asian plant based meal. I doubt if there is a better one anywhere. Truly great food and (while not currently available!) a great setting. Yes, it’s fine dining and the price is in line with that. Similar prices as the non vegan restaurant who used to occupy the spot. Highly highly recommend

An experience! - Edit
If you’ve never had vegan sushi that isn’t cucumber or avocado roll, this is an experience. Go on Monday for all you can eat maki! Or order take out with considerably more reasonable sushi prices. They also make a strawberry shortcake dessert with coconut jelly pearls and wow, it was really good and innovative. I had never had anything like it. Planta Queen is the best one, though I have yet to try the new Cocina.

Perfect for Dates! - Edit
We love dining at Planta Queen! The food is always fresh and flavourful. We appreciate their attention to detail and excellent wait staff. The small plates encourage a “dim sum” experience, of ordering several plates and sharing them. We find that this is a fun way to dine and encourages conversation. The staff is always friendly; conscious of dietary restrictions; and great to chat with about the menu.

We stopped off here and decided to try as many of the small plates as we could. The Bang Bang broccoli was a particular highlight. All of the items we tried were so flavourful. If it wasn’t such an upmarket venue I would have licked the plate clean.

Best Vegan Asian Food in TO. - Edit
I’ve been to Planta Queen a few times now, and it’s been an amazing experience every time. The food is phenomenal (and timed perfectly), and it has such a better vibe than Planta Yorkville. Bonus, you also get better and a larger quantity of food for a better price. Don’t leave without ordering the Pineapple Fried Rice!
