Even though this place isn't cheap, the food is excellent. The truffle rice was absolutely perfect.

Every single item was delicious, impeccable, and beautiful. So many wonderful textures and flavors that I’d recommend trying multiple items and share them family style. This place is definitely a treat!

Great vegan place! - Edit
Excellent vegan restaurant with an Asian cuisine focus! Spacious indoor seating. No true outdoors but the windows can be opened. Friendly staff. The rolls were outstanding and unique especially the "crab" roll. The Dan Dan noodles and the sweet corn dumplings were tasty and filling. I liked the little crunch and the flavors. I also really liked the matcha cheesecake dessert, in particular the crust. Would definitely go again & looking forward to seeing this concept expand to more cities

The crispy rice, dragon roll, bao, and bang bang broccoli are our favs. We are regulars here and usually come on Mondays to get half priced sushi.

Yes the entire menu is vegan - Edit
We enjoyed a few small plates and two of the bowls (noodles). Maybe one less small plate because the dessert was a do not miss option. Amazing food, full of flavors. We had a table next to the window overlooking CocoWalk and between great food, conversation, and exemplary service we enjoyed an opportunity to people watch.

Different Food Focus at This Location but GREAT - Edit
We love Planta SoBe but wanted to try this Planta near our hotel. The staff was crazy friendly and super service. The food... incredible! More Asian influence at this location. We had unlimited Mimosas and ordered too much food!!! It was all great and stood the test of the other Planta!

We got the box of 4 rolls, gyoza 🥟 dumplings, and an order of bao buns!
Read moreThe gyoza dumplings were over cooked and the California roll had a bad after taste. The other 3 were delicious and the spicy mayo sauce was our favorite. I’d try it again.

Good - Edit
Well the location is good the place it’s super nice you feel rich ! But to be honest the service was ok , they look at you if they see you like you have nice clothes and all that fake things they treat you nice , the day I go I go on sneakers because I walk a lot , the hostess was awful , the food the gyoza dumplings was amazing, the Dan Dan noodles good but I see to much grease on the dishes and sushi the are tremendous small and highly expensive you need to eat like 3 to feel full , I now the area is for Rich people but come on a sushi with 6 pieces the size of a 25 coin quarter coin for almost 20 dollar that’s agressive guys, that’s my opinion

Cons: Highly highly expensive!!!, Súper tinyyyyyy dishes , Some of them are greasy

Fancy place, disappointing food. - Edit
All dishes tasted very similar, and not any protein option. The eggplant inari were good, but that’s the only dish me n my partner enjoyed. Very pricey for what you get.

Not worth the hype - Edit
I was really excited to try this place. Let’s start with the high notes - the service was great, all of our food arrived within 10 minutes of us placing the order, the ambiance is upscale and upbeat.
Read moreNow for the not so good - the food. I read all the reviews and felt most people were raving about the spicy tuna roll, bang bang broccoli and Dan Dan noodles, so that’s what we ordered.
The spicy tuna roll was the only thing that had good flavor. The rest was eh…not good. The bang bang broccoli was so overfried it was hard to eat and the sauce was lackluster. The Dan Dan noodles were greasy and they made both of our mouths unpleasantly tingly (likely from the szechuan). Again, the flavor was lacking. We felt awful before even eating half of each of these dishes and left them on the table (which is $20 wasted)
Overall, I had high hopes and this restaurant was an expensive disappointment.

Spicy tuna roll 😊 - Edit
This will definitely fix your sushi craving and the sauce that comes with it is perfection. The sushi roll even smells like real sushi. I will say some pieces of the roll tasted better than others possibly due to uneven distribution of ingredients. By the way, 8 pieces of sushi for nearly $16 is quite expensive but for a once in awhile treat I definitely think it’s worth it. The creativity in creating this dish is amazing and I can’t wait to go back to try more.

Best Vegan Sushi Selection - Edit
Been to this location twice about 6 months apart and both times were amazing dining experiences! Only difference is weekend was regular pricing and Mondays are all you can eat Sushi nights. The mock tails are yummy, and the Mochi flavors (chocolate/hazelnut, passion fruit and lychee) were on point. Also highly recommend the Bang Bang Broccoli 🥦

Came here with my wife, and we loved everything on the menu. But the spicy tuna roll had us in a chokehold! Ordered it three times! The waitress was very kind, and the inside of the restaurant is so beautiful! Looking forward to another date night here

WOW!!! Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had! - Edit
The stylish, sexy ambience was such a great surprise!! Planta Queen in Coconut Grove is a must-visit. Service was incredibly quick on a busy Friday night - we were seated immediately, and were done with our meal (4 apps, 2 drinks, one entree, one dessert) within the hour (!!). All of our food was delicious - the spicy tuna roll, the potato truffle dumplings, the bao sliders and the bang-bang broccoli…. But you have to get the truffle fried rice, it’s out of this world! And the New York cheesecake with strawberry compote!! What an exhilarating time for vegans. 100% going to seek this place out the next time I’m in Miami. ❤️

Many Tasty Choices - Edit
Very good selection of Asian inspired vegan. Our server was very friendly and fun. My favorite dishes were the "Torched and Pressed" sushi and the Bang Bang Broccoli. My drink, the "Herb Your Enthusiasm" was amazing. It had just the right amount of spicy finish for a chili infused tequila drink. The sake was also very good.
Read moreLike many other small plates restaurants the dishes come out as they are ready so if you would like to take your time and enjoy your meal and dinner companions I would recommend keeping a menu and order a bit at a time. We were there around 7PM on a Wednesday and it wasn't super busy so our dishes hit the table soon after we ordered. I felt a bit rushed but don't think it was intentional.
Pros: Nice setting with lots of natural light, Great quality food, Good drinks
Cons: A bit pricey for casual Asian cuisine

Second visit - Edit
Second time here. I didn’t leave a review the first time as they were just opening and I had mixed reviews. I thought I would give them a second try. The food has a lot of flavor. The bang bang broccoli is really good as are the Singapore noodles. The food was oily and the portions were small for the price. The rainbow roll and sushi rolls were disappointing in size as compared to their enticing menu picture. And extremely over priced for those rolls. They could do a lot better.
Read moreSince this was take out, I’m sure the experience would have been better in house. I would give it one more try to see if eating in is better.
