Best sandwiches ever

By some distance the best sandwich shop ever - a fantastic range (which regularly changes) and they are all amazing.

If, like me, you’re not local - head to St Leonards ASAP, buy a sandwich and eat it by the sea. That’s the perfect day right there.

Pros: So much choice , Everything tastes amazing

Huge sandwiches!

I had the festive sandwich (stuffing, cabbage coleslaw, lettuce & cranberry sauce) and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were good, the sandwich was huge! Shame that you can't sit in. Also multiple times it's been closed in the past when the opening times (both online & in person on the door) say it should be open, so be wary!

For future visitors: We are a takeaway shop and we are always open during our stated opening hours! In the rare case of any last minute emergencies we will always post on social media explaining that we're closed! :)

Amazing lunch

Such good sandwiches/toasties and they change their menu every month! I will be visiting at least once per month 😋

Very tasty

They may not be the cheapest but the quality and care which goes into each meal is amazing. I've never enjoyed eating a sandwich so much in my life! They only have a small menu which changes every month so its always worth popping back to.

Scrummy

Friendly staff and delicious sandwiches. Had the Ruben and the fajita. Ruben was outstanding, fajita was a yummy vegetable and cheese toastie.

Brilliant toasties

I’ve got food from these ladies at vegan markets a few times and the fried egg bap is delicious! Love their other toasties I’ve tried too

The best about!

Absolutely perfect toasties! Full of flavour & very generous size.

The best sarnies in all the land!!!!

Hands down the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! They absolutely nail the classics (eggless mayo is better than I remember the real deal being). Love the variety and the ever changing menu. If you don’t know, get to know!!

The tastiest toasties ever!

I cannot recommend this place enough, their toasties are out of this world, and the menu is updated often with exciting new delicious things to try! The ladies who run Plant the Seed are so friendly and welcoming, you won't regret coming here!

Delicious and friendly!!

The sandwiches are delicious and reasonable priced, and the monthly menu rotation means you’ll never get bored of the food on offer (although I think I would find that impossible anyway!). Friendly and helpful staff make it a welcoming place to return to again and again. I would 100% recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike 🌱🌱👍

Best toasties and sandwiches ever.

Amazing toasties and sandwiches and friendly owners. What more can I say? Definitely go there and try everything. The toasties are my favourite 💞 They also accomodate for my tricky allium intolerance.

Incredibly tasty comfort food

This little business is a gem. Their sandwiches are really inventive and so flavoursome. They change their menu often and they always have a GF option. Can’t rate them highly enough!

Great little place for take away sandwiches

Found this place on Happy Cow whilst looking for some takeaway sandwiches. Had both types of sandwich available and came back the next day. The club sandwich made with eggplant ‘bacon’ was outstanding. Very nice sourdough too and good size sandwiches.

Amazing sandwiches 🙏🏻

I have no idea how they do it but the vegan fried egg breakfast bap I tried from here was amazing! Lots of filling, genuinely delicious and not too expensive. Definitely recommend 🥪

One time and praying for another

I only visited Hastings once and found this stall in the centre of the town. It was the most delicious hot vegan breakfast bap I’ve ever tasted, I had to order another! I’ve looked for other but they must be new because there seems to be only one. You must have one of these, I would pay to have them flown over to me! 😂

Pros: Can’t believe it’s not a real egg!!!, The sourdough bread was perfection, They had their own homemade salsa/sauce - Devine

Cons: Wish there were more places to buy them , Can’t say anything negative
