Delicious! - Edit
Had a great meal on our drive to Cape Cod. The chickpea Caesar salad wrap and sweet potato fries were delicious, also loved the açaí and tropical smoothies! Very fast service and friendly people working. Would definitely come back!

Plant City X - Edit
I love to go to plant city X. It has really great food and variety of vegan options (such has vegan hamburgers, Mac n cheese, smoothies). It also has gluten free options. However, it is super expensive and they only have 1 size of each thing. For instance, there smoothies are only 1 size and it’s like $9.

Fast food for fast foodists who just happen to be vegans - Edit
I led a deprived childhood. I bypassed the American fast-food experience. I’ve never tasted Big Macs or Whoppers; Arby’s or Roy Rogers beef; Baskin-Robbins or Häagen-Dazs ice cream. As a child before the advent of drive-thru, I can’t recall seeing the inside of a MacDonald’s or Burger King. A vegan since 1970, when driving long distance I do on rare occasions for a wakeup break order a drive-thru Wendy’s baked potato “with nothing on it.” But I’ve never been inside a Wendy’s.
Read moreWalking into Planet X was a new experience for me. The sterile white décor abounding with artificial plants, loud blaring music, and hard resin seating may be intended to replicate American junk food joints, as tho that were an ideal worth aspiring to. I would be more accepting of the ambience if the food were identical to the Providence mothership’s. No, its whole foods was dumbed down here. Vegan food for the masses? Rather, junk food for vegans.
The menu is limited. No juices. A green smoothie appears on the wall menu, but was discontinued. Thank goodness for 3 salads, but salads I eat at home, and one had fried tofu. As I avoid fried foods, I had a Burger.
The “bean/veg/grain patty” in the Burgers is not mock meat, but whole food. I can taste beet & sweet potato. Thanks, Planet X! But the other contents were insipid. The white flour bun should have been toasted to give it rigidity to hold together its contents. I discarded the spongy top bun, but had to eat the bottom bun as it had absorbed the thin smear of guacamole that defined my Guac Burger. My friend says that when he twice before ordered the Guac Burger the guacamole was oozing everywhere. In mine, however, the only sign of guacamole was a green smear. Had I not eaten by layers, I would not have known guac was present. You add tips at the counter in front of the waitstaff before you are served. Of the three prefigured tips, 15, 20, & 25%, I chose 15, so maybe that’s why my guac was doled out so miserly.
In the Truffle Mac & Cheese, mushrooms were delicious & plentiful, and the topping crunchy. But the macaroni was bland white flour & mushy, and the cheeze tasteless & soupy.
My friend ordered Sweet Potato Fries. Before he dug in, I sampled 1 piece. Sweet potato was good but greasy. Served in an open container, its grease spilled everywhere, even on the bag in which our meal was served. Never asked takeout or eat-in, I guess everything is served to-go.
If you count yourself as a junk foodist, you’ll find happiness here.

Yes! - Edit
Thrilled that PCX opened a location in Warwick! On first impression, this spot outshines the Middletown location. The service was much better and the food also seems to be prepared better - unsure what the reason for that could be but either way - delicious and convenient!
