Guys! The cheese is HOUSE MADE - Edit
Blown away by this pizza and would have made a beeline to it even sooner had I known that the cheeses are house made and FANTASTIC. I told the personable and attentive chef that they should publicize the house-made bit, especially for vegans who have had to suffer through mediocre vegan cheese. Vegan Brie. Drop the mic.

Favorite restaurant in Adam - Edit
This app won’t let me give Mastinos 5 stars because it’s not fully vegan/vegetarian. I get that, I’d prefer a cruelty-free world, too. However, the vegan pizza here is 5 stars. It’s like being in Italy in there. I love the playlists, I love the owners/staff and—yay!—they opened up a totally vegan place that has a license to use real plates and sell wine by the glass. I wish this original Mastino’s would go 100% veg too but in the meantime, it’s still my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. My fave pizza is the full moon and my man loves the new vegan.

Ok, my girlfriend is vegan and gets really nousies van Gluten. So pizza is not an option. And I'm Vegan these days.
Read moreBut then we tried out this place. It's amazing. The Pizza was good. We shared one at the counter, as all tables were in use. It was great. It was 18 euro for 1 pizza, but that's doesn't surprise us, since it did have expensive ingredients. And the taste was worth every penny. Will come back.
Btw, this restaurant is fully Vegetarian, people can pick mozzarella instead of the nut cheese. So I would like to give it a 5 star for being 100% vegetarian.
Pros: Vegan, Gluten free, Very kind Italian owner
Cons: expensive but worth it.

they have so many vegan options and it is all so yummy. the pizza’s are freshly baked in a real italian oven and the staff is super nice. (i’d give 5 stars)

As a vegan you don't have the option to eat pizza very often. Mastino delivers! These pizza's are a bit pricey from 10 to 15 euros a piece but they are deeeee-licious!
Read moreThe people working here are all Italian I believe and (as Italians) they *know* their food. The quality of the pizzas is really high, the pizza crust is really good and the toppings are high in taste and they don't heap a lot of them on the pizza, because it's not necessary.
Also: they have like 4 or 5 different vegan pizza's to choose from!
If you can afford it: definitely check it out!

Went with meat eaters and they took a bite of my vegan pizza and they loved it. They don't skimp out on the vegan cheese. You get to watch them make it from scratch and it's presented beautifully.

Best vegan pizza we’ve ever had! Cozy, warm and inviting, service was blazingly fast and friendly. Roeder from the vegan menu or sub-in from the rest of the menu. Sandwiches are only served at lunch. No cash. (I tried to give it 5 stars but because it is a non-vegetarian restaurant the max I could give it was 4....). We’ll be back!!!

Simply amazing vegan pizza. Franca Manca in london does the best pizza that has no cheese (and at £4.50!!) but this place does quite simply amazing vegan pizza using vegan cheese. If you can avoid the fact they also serve much less desirable items like meat then this is the place....

The best pizza I ever had - Edit
This place has a lot of choice in vegan pizzas! Me and my boyfriend(a carnivoor) ordered the vegan full moon pizza I believe. It was delicious! We ordered it for take away because it was busy inside and ate it in the park on a bench in the sun. My boyfriend is a bit skeptical about vegan food but had to confess that he loved this pizza. "While enjoying the pizza I forgot that the cheese on top wasn't real cheese" he said.

The Staff were super friendly and the Vegan options were plentiful. Around 4 or 5 Vegan pizzas all clearly marked, using a variety of both fresh vegetable ingredients and meat/dairy substitutes. The location has a very cool atmosphere too!

Nice pizza place with various vegan pizzas with nice fresh toppings. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about veganism. The interior is more of a fast food place, and the pizzas are being served in cardboard boxes.

Amazing Vegan Options - Edit
Very good vegan pizzas. 5 on the menu, not sure how substitutions work we simply ordered the Full Moon. The pesto cashew cheese was amazing, highly recommend. This is in a really cool area for anyone not familiar, tons of restaurants & patios. We were so lucky our AirBnB was right around the corner! We ordered to go and had a beer while we waited for the pizza to cook. If the weather was warmer we would've stuck around the area longer.

Amazing vegan pizza - Edit
This is a no-brainer, especially if you're craving vegan pizza and vegan cheese. The ones we tried rank among the best we had in our life (even including the non-vegan ones). Also, Novella (the owner) is a great, inspiring person to talk to. We spent quite some time chatting and heard about the new location (focused on vegan and gluten free pizzas) coming up soon in Amsterdam West. Can't wait for it to open!

Which is quite an achievement for a 'regular' restaurant it seems. The pizza is delicious and authentic Italian. I've tried all three on numerous occasions. A tip for tourists: get your pizza to go and enjoy it in the nearby sarphati park, especially if you're here in the summer :) i would give this place five stars but happy cow won't let me since it's not a 100% vegetarian place.

Excellent options for vegans - Edit
This is a rare example of an pizza restaurant that actively promotes vegetarian and vegan food, and offers dishes with decent non-dairy cheese and pesto. The owner is vegetarian and is happy to receive ideas for new vegan menu items. I attended a vegan brunch here (apparently the plan is to host one every month) and was impressed.
