VEGAN CHOWDER - Edit
I’m no expert on chowder but I thought it was pretty good. I’m not used to eating salt so in my opinion it was a little too salty but what do I know; I still think it was good! Also, I think it’s amazing that such a popular place like this has a vegan option! Plus their sourdough bread is sooooo good especially when you dip it in the chowder!

There are two locations and only the one in 1530 Post Alley, Seattle has the vegan options. Please go try it yourself if you visited Pike place market.

Good vegan chowder. Get it in the sourdough bowl and you won't be sorry. Come here for lunch during the height of tourist season and you will.

Read moreAt first I was semi hesitant about trying the chowder—my boyfriend really wanted some clam chowder, and has been a good sport at eating vegan with me this whole trip. My main concern was the coconut lime flavor would be closer to Thai than to “chowder”. I was proven wrong!
The coconut and lime are incredibly subtle, with the chowder being thick and veggie forward. Get it in a bread bowl and you’ll be glad you did!

Really Amazing Chowder - Edit
I was so happy that this place had vegan chowder because my non-veggie boyfriend wanted to go here. And it was really delicious. Lime coconut didn’t sound that appealing to me but I was amazed at how good r was.
