Good food, LONG wait - Edit
While my family and I really enjoyed our orders of vegan pierogi and the creamy carrot & ginger soup, it took about 40 minutes to get a table (most of which spent outside in line), and another 40 minutes to get our food, which obviously wasn't ideal...but does illustrate how popular this establishment is.

Empfehlenswert - Edit

Great pierogi - Edit
This was very good! They have around 4 savory vegan options. I took the ones with soy meat and they were 10/10. Also tried the ones with chickpeas and tomatoes, also very good. Big portions. The best part is that they are not the usual boring options with potatoes or mushrooms, they have actual vegan ingredients like soy meat, cheese etc. Recommend!

Vegane alternativen - Edit
Pros: Auswahl , Personal, Ambiente

Great - Edit
Clearly labeled vegan options (2 savory dumplings and 2 sweet options - strawberry and blueberry. Vegan sweet dumplings means it was served without sour cream as topping). Savory were delicious

Incredible - Edit
Im not allowed to give 5 stars, because they are not fully vegan/vegetarian. But:
Read moreBest food we had in Gdańsk so far. The traditional vegan option, boiled pierogi with cabbage, mushrooms and onion was amazing. Staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating. They had a whole vegan section on the menu, but you could find more if you looked in other sections that could be altered to be vegan. Even though we didn’t have to wait, there was a line the whole time we were there, but it moved kind of fast. But if we came back, we would be more than happy to stand in line for this food.
Pros: Amazing food quality, Friendly service, Multiple vegan options, clearly marked
Cons: There might be a waiting time for a table

Good fried pierogies - Edit
Very good fried pierogies🤩
Read moreWe also had the cabbage and mushroom one with the vegan mayonaise. But it was not as good. And i dont know if we got the right sauce, because it was a bit garlic tasting.. so i sat a bit worried while eating. My boyfried who hade a non vegan garlic sauce with his pierogies said it was not the same sauce at least. But weird to have garlic and green stuff in a mayonaise🫣
We also had the sweet blueberry ones, which we didn’t like that much.

Pierogiiiiii - Edit
Wow they had 3 vegan options. I choose the fried ones and also the girl recommend it. It was a good choice. Very good filling with nuts and soy meat. And the sauce mango I believe was very tasty. There was a line bit it took less then 5 minutes. Helpful staff.

A few interesting vegan options - Edit
This dish is found a couple times on the menu, but without a name. They are vegan deep-fried dumplings, much like wontons, that have tofu, coriander, agave syrup, hazelnuts, soy sauce, and lime juice. The dough is very well fried, with a nice crisp. The spicy mango dipping sauce tastes amazing. Compared to the steamed dumplings we had, there was relatively less filling compared to the dough. Obviously, these are not like traditional pierogi, but that's not what they are going for at this restaurant. It was nice to have vegan options at this restaurant! Price is a little elevated compared to the milky bars in the area, but you are paying for ambience and an eclectic menu. Would probably go here again, but wished they had more vegan options.

Worth a visit! - Edit
We had the steamed soy pierogi and the fried tofu ones as well as white veg soup and sauerkraut it was all amazing probably the best meal we had in gdansk. My partner (not vegan) loved it too. Price good, waitress nice, would return. Went on a Monday evening, no queue.

Good food but get there early! - Edit
Vegan food clearly labelled on the menu and easy location to find. We arrived around 3pm on Saturday and the queue was halfway down the road. We waited about 20 minutes but, as the queue hasn’t moved, we decided to order on Glovo instead. I can’t fault the food but suggest getting to the restaurant early.

What a treat to have a two vegan options to try traditional polish cuisine : cabbage filling or mushroom & buckwheat filling pierogis. Both flavourful and satisfying. I wanted to go back but the line outside kept me from doing that.

Tastiest pierogi I had throughout the entire trip - Edit
Truly the best pierogi I had all throughout my travels through Poland. Even better than the ones I had in restaurants in Warsaw (and also for a better price)! The service was good, welcoming and helpful.
Read moreThere were lots of options so I had a hard time choosing. I ended up picking the potato and natural tofu pierogi and loved them. A friend had the more traditional ones (with vegan cheddar!) and they were delicious, too. Really satisfying, filling food that just heals the soul and feels nostalgic even if you're not Polish and its your first time having pierogi.
Pros: Excellent flavours, Great vibe, Helpful service
Cons: Long queues

The best pierogi in the world - Edit
This is by far the best pierogi I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot!). The vegan options were amazing. We had the tofu potato boiled pierogi, veggie mince, cheese and pickles baked pierogi and blueberry pierogi after (which we had to take away as the portion sizes are massive). The staff are super friendly and kind as well which is so nice. I would definitely recommend Mandu and I’ll be back!

Amazing! - Edit
So I only had the vegan white vegetable soup, and the pierogi russki(potato pierogis) but they were incredible with the caramelized onions! It’s a little pricy for your typical pierogi place but the portion is really big. I had no business eating 10 pierogis and soup by myself! This place gets busy so plan ahead!

Excellent price-quality and friendly, English-speaking staff - Edit
I had a coconut & white-vegetable soup, soy-protein pierogi and saurkraut, all of which were excellent. Especially the soup was unexpectedly good. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. We went on Sunday evening around 20h00 and did not have to wait to get a table for 2.

Very good!! - Edit
Vegan section on the menu, nice staff.
Read moreI opted for the potatoes tofu version as I wanted something more traditional, plus a carrot salad. Had a prosecco with violett syrop and blueberries.
The food came faster than expected.
There was a queue when I arrived (maybe arround 8:30), they had a waiting list which I thought was nice. The place is big, has seats outside also, so it wasn’t a very long wait. And it was Friday evening. I am happy I went and had the chance to try something traditional.
Pros: Well organized, No blink on my request for a table for one, Food came fast
