In Koblenz mein liebstes Café und immer gerne einen Besuch wert. Es gibt wechselnde vegane Kuchen und auch deftige Speisen. Liebe außerdem die Lavendellimonade. Die Bedienungen sind unglaublich lieb und einfach aus Zucker!

We had vegan curry sausage with potatoes. Portions are quite big. The food was okay. Nothing wrong with it, but not the best ever. Friendly staff and nice place to sit. Vegan iced latte also available with either soy, oat, or almond milk.

Although not entirely vegan, this place always has a nice vegan selection and is right next to an ice-cream parluor with vegan options. This time, I had the mole cake (chocolate crumbles, banana and vegan cream) with hot chocolate and cream and my mum had a cherry crumble and an oat cappuccino. Sadly we were too late for hot food, as the kitchen had already closed. It came to ~€14.

Amazing vegan choices - Edit
This time we only had drinks, but one quick look at the menu is promising for vegans, vegetarians and people who eat gluten-free. The menu is easily understandable, very clear and extensive. On top of all of it, everything is ecological (bio) and made by the cafe. Will definitely be back for the basil-tofu sandwich or the amazing vegan cake options.

I love the pancakes here. You can have them with coffee or vegan hot chocolate. Today I choose the vegan curry sausage with potatoes and a vegan cake as dessert. You can find here a nice choice of cakes and they always offer you a vegan cake alternative.

Good food and a lot of vegan choices at Pfefferminzje. Unfortunately they close everyday at 6 pm. I ate a vegan pancake wit spinach and mushrooms and that was a nice dish.

The restaurant has a lovely outdoors seating area in a courtyard. I went there for brunch and they had several vegan options, such as bread rolls with cold cuts and spreads, a fruit yoghurt bowl, tofu scramble, and vegan pancakes. The food was tasty once we got it, but there was some hazzle on the way. Several of the menu items had run out, and some had supposedly run out but we got them in the end after all. The waiters did not know what some of the dishes were made of. Once we got our orders some items were missing. All in all, the staff seemed very confused, which is a pity since the place and the food are otherwise very nice.

Yes you’re absolutely right. We visited Pfefferminzje 3-4 times and every time the staff was confused. The food came always very late (like after 45-60 min) and it didn’t look good. It even wasn’t hot and It also came something wrong evertime we went there. Now we don’t go there anymore. The quality isn’t good anymore after Pfefferminzje has another owener!

I had a bad time in this restaurant. The food was good but the service was totally overwhelmed and could not handle the workload. We waited for an hour for our food to arrive. The staff was roughly addressing guests who chose their own table (as it is customary in Germany unless there are signs to wait to be seated). They were discussing with each other, complaining about guests and about colleagues in front of other guests.

Das Pfefferminzje hatten wir schon über happycow herausgesucht, als fest stand, dass wir für ein Wochenende nach Koblenz fahren. Da es immer schwierig ist ein vernünftiges veganes Frühstück zu bekommen, haben wir hier reserviert. Nach einer Stadtführung und etwas schlendern durch die Altstadt haben wir nachmittags dann schon eine kurze Kaffe-/Tee-Pause hier eingelegt. Der vegane Kuchen war sehr lecker, wir hatten Mohn- und Schokokuchen.

We chose Pfefferminzje on happycow, when we decided to visit Koblenz for a weekend. Cause it is always trouble to get a vegan breakfast, we made a reservation at this spot. After a citytour an some strolling around in the oldtown, we took a coffee-/tea-break in the afternoon. We liked the chocolate and the poppyseed-cake very much.
Next morning we had a large and very delicious breakfast. Good to know, that vegan-dishes are marked. Allthoug the service could be better, we’ll be back, when around the city. Make a reservation! Especially for Sunday mornings.

Stopped here for lunch not really sure what to expect. The place was really busy but we found a nice table outside that had blankets. Ordered two coffees, one with soya milk and one with oat milk. Both came pretty quickly and were delicious. We then ordered our food and it also came pretty fast. The soup was lovely, seasonal and thick. Nice bread too. My boyfriend had one of their savoury pancakes with garlic and spinach and he said it was super tasty. They have plenty vegan options. Would come back again.

Read morewe both had fried potatoes which were both really bland. the vegan currywurst accompanying one of the dishes had never seen a single grain of curry and the tomato sauce it came in tasted like canned tomatoes with no added spices to mention.
the young lady serving as was really friendly, however she just popped out of the restaurant several times in order to discuss her next tattoo at the parlour a few doors down.
I don't know....but all in all I just can't recommend this place

The lemonade was over the expected date. We ate there with 3 persons. Everybody got the meal seperate and cold. The waitress wasnˋt interested at all. We didnˋt get something to drink when it was empty. When there is a lot to do I can unterstand when something is not as expected but we were the only guests in this restaurant. Very sad. Not again.

A restaurant I loved going to and is finally good again! It was great when I first went there 4-5 years ago, but steadily become worse over the years. Adding milk to food that was marked vegan, not giving us soy milk in our drinks and denying that, etc. But, to my surprise, when their merged with the Cafe Miljöö and where not purely vegetarian anymore, they got better again!
Read moreThe food is sufficiently marked, and tastes good. The staff was very friendly, the terrace is a lovely place to sit, one of the bests in Koblenz. The waiting time is understandable for a small kitchen and as far as I know only one cook.
I really recommend this place, if you happen to be in Koblenz :)
