Vegetarian delight - Edit
We had a great meal with lots of choices for vegetarians and vegans. The menu was a great mix of Japanese/Italian fusion and the ingredients were fresh and interesting. The owner/waiter Mark was very helpful and friendly. I would happily recommend and we may be back before the week is out. There were fish options for pescetarians too.

Best restaurant we have been in Japan so far!!! Cozy and familiar, with delicious food and great vegan options. Granted it is a bit a fusion of japanese and european cuisine, but that clearly brings the best out of the two worlds. We have had the problem so far that the real japanese experience is hard to get if you do not speak the language, even more if someone in your group is vegan, but this place gave us an access to something authentic.

Finally the owners are the most friendly people we have met so far and will chat with you and tell you amazing cultural things and tourist tips.
Would recommend 200%. In fact we are thinking about going back already!

Our entire experience here was a delight, from the warm greeting from the chef-owners to the cozy setting and of course the creative (mostly veg) cuisine. We shared 3 of the vegan seasonal tapas, the vegan peach salad, ratatouille (with egg), vegan pesto pasta, and the mushroom risotto with taleggio. All highlighted fresh, seasonal produce and both Italian and Japanese cooking techniques. The menu does include a fish dish but the majority are veg*n friendly.

what an amazing place - everything on the menu can be made or substituted to be vegan. There is a vegan set menu which is reasonably priced as well as many mains and share plates. We opted for the fried tofu, stuffed eggplants and our favourite - the pesto mushroom pasta. Yummy wine and the owners are so lovely and up for a chat.

Such lovely friendly hosts, Italian guy and his Japanese wife. lots of vegan or seafood, no meat served. Nice wine, good prices, the set we had was big, salads, bread, etc. the main choice with the set was smaller but you already had a lot to go with it fit a good price and was really delicious! Had great chats with the owner, nice wine, even got some free pizza as they were testing recipes. We both totally loved it and it deserves big props as they are trying to bring vegan food to their restaurant which is more challenging to succeed in the area with the non vegans. We had a great night! Go there!!!

Amazing little restaurant tucked away on a side street. A select menu with the majority vegan or vegetarian (and some fish options) - with a focus on organic, quality produce. We enjoyed the tapas, ravioli and risotto, as well as some very tasty Italian wines recommended by the owner. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome. Would give it 5 stars but Happy Cow won’t let me select it because it’s not fully vegan!! Highly recommend.
