The best sandwich I've ever eaten

I tried the Veggie sandwich on Sweet onion bread and their Taco Tuesday bowl. Both were devoured and absolutely scrumptious. The sandwich was my favorite. I can't get over the cashew sauce and the amazing taste and texture of the bread. The owner was suuuuuper nice and helpful. Anytime I visit the area, this will be my go-to place, for sure!

Pros: Super fresh ingredients, Absolutely delicious, Wonderfully accommodating owner

Cons: Expensive (but worth it)

Very good

Very good sandwiches and amazing carrot cake. Not a fan of the quiché but I’m sure others are. The works sandwich can get messy, but yummy!

Pros: Amazing carrot cake , Available with Uber eats

Vegan Treats Galore!!!

This place is a must-stop whenever we pass by Olympia. It’s easy to reach from the freeway, small and friendly, with a large menu board full of delicious options. They have an ample assortment of smoothies and juices, a refrigerated case with vegan desserts, kombucha growlers and savory offerings as well - avocado-kale salad, sauerkraut, vegan slaws, etc. There are no tables or chairs, but you can eat at A bench outside the door or take your treats to a nearby park. They offer raw-nola and aminos for sale, and local art is on the walls, usually with a social-activist theme.

Pros: Lots of vegan offerings , Cheesecakes, nanaimao bars and kombucha , Small and pleasant space in a nice neighborhood

Cons: Your food comes in a plastic drink cup, Staff isn’t chatty, No seating

Amazing raw food find in Olympia

This place was a fabulous find. The smoothies and juices superbly crafted and very flavorful. We had the falafel sandwiches and everyone loved them. But the highlight of the meal was the carrot cake. OMG. Get two. One simply isn’t enough.

amazing

How has it taken us this long to finally try Peace Love and Raw. We had no idea what we were missing. The food is amazing, with excellent deserts. We will definitely come back for more. Price is consistent with typical vegan fare. Seating would have been the topping on the perfect cake and sandwich.

Pros: quality , quantity

Cons: no seating

Oh my gosh. Yummm

This place is worth the drive from Oregon to get there The Works sandwich. Had it twice when I was up there visiting. Made me want to eat as much raw vegan food as I can. My only wish is this place was closer to me or I could figure out how to make it. :) so yummy. It's a go in order at the counter and go place. Not a sit down. It would be cool if there was at least one or two places to sit for those who want to enjoy there sandwich as soon as they get it. :)

How much was that?

Non-veg people tell me all the time that one of the reasons they don't go vegan is because of how expensive it is. Peace Love Raw makes that true. The smoothies are tasty, but gritty, and paying $6.50 for a 12 ounce smoothie isn't worth it. The sandwiches taste alright, but they're $5 over-priced. The only thing I'll actually keep buying from them are their (still sort of over-priced) cinnamon rolls. Those are to live for!

Pros: clean, healthy food, friendly workers

Cons: expensive, parking on busy days

Delicious sandos!

I'm a relatively new vegan and since it's a pain to find vegan options where I live, I rarely go out to eat. I made my way up to Olympia today and was trying to find a place to grub (also how I came across happy cow!) I found Peace Love and Raw and checked out the menu. I settled on a falafel sando and a smoothie (green crush?) I had never seen "bread" quite like that before and was apprehensive about its taste and functionality; it looked similar to a cracker, because it was that thin, and I thought it would crumble when I bit into it. I was wrong and it was delicious! My sandwich was stuffed with falafel, cashew-aise, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red bell pepper, and kraut (they have many kraut options, I choose plain) all between two slices of sweet onion cracker-looking bread. I devoured the whole thing in the time it took to make my smoothie (banana, date, maca, and spirulina). I was left satiated and happy I found the place. The staff (and customers) were all very friendly as well. I know where I'm eating if I ever find myself in Olympia again!

Pros: Delicious sandwich, Friendly staff

Cons: No seating, Parking is atrocious (not their fault), Not a lot of food options

delightful Eggplant sandwich

Found this place on Happy Cow and decided to get lunch on our way through Olympia. Loving everything eggplant, I chose the sandwich with the ultra thin slices of eggplant jerky. I am in love ! With the cayenne ginger kraut it was perfect. Can't wait for my next trip to Oly!

Awesome goodies & vibe

There's a limited menu (juices, etc.), but they can make just about anything. There's usually a juice of the day & there's a cooler for you to grab ready-made items (raw parfaits, salads w/ raw dressings, their raw naimo bars, and whatever raw goodness they've made for the day).

Great service and great, fresh ingredients. Nice to be able to stop by a 'juice place' that truly understands raw, is allergen-free (aside from nuts), and vegan. They are also knowledgeable and include different itmes such as maca. (Like I said, they know their stuff!

I don't know if they're strictly cash only or if it's like most of downtown with cash strongly encouraged. Only other minor con is the very limited hours of 10a-3p.

Pros: Raw, Vegan, Delicious

Cons: Limited hours, May be cash only
