99% vegan (honey in very few desserts) - Edit
It’s nice with a place in Skopje that’s almost 100% vegan. The food is not really that good but it’s fine.

Yummy and healthy - Edit
Ate here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. Has more of a lunch ambience but enjoyed both. Warm food is half off after 6pm so the dinner pricing is amazing for the same delicious and healthy food. Enjoyed the healthy desserts as well.

Lovely food, convenient for take away - Edit
I had the mixed plate of daily warm foods, the waitress/cashier could explain everything in english. They also have chia puddings and other breakfast type foods, pastries and cakes (double check for possible honey). The breakfast situation in Skopje is not the best for vegans, so if you are a tourist/person with access to a refrigerator this could be a convenient place if you want to stock up on some things if you have early morning starts (like me).

This cafe was our savior in Skopje - Edit
Both home cooking, desserts and pastries were delicious. If you go after 6 o'clock, they offer a 50% discount on home-cooked meals. I've tried their branches in Montenegro before, both there and here are very nice!

Tasty food - Edit
Notice this is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Be sure to ask the staff which ones are vegan and not. I had a light lunch (weighted) and take out burgers and pizzas. Very tasty, especially the pizza! 🍕Sorry I realized I forgot taking photos of my lunch after I devoured everything 🤦🏻♀️! Being not many choices of vegan restaurants in Skopje, this is very affordable with vegan options, I would recommend to go at 11:30 am for the lunch.

Super affordable - Edit
Self service place with a good range of sweet and savoury food options as well as homemade lemonades and ice teas. We had the tofu sausage lasagna and the spinach nut cheese lasagna, both with a side of mixed vegetables and were very happy with it. The highlight were the date and chocolate truffle cubes (only 40DEN each)!

tasty food - Edit
they have a buffet style hot food section and pastry’s, desserts and other bits in the fridge. the meal i had was really tasty and substantial and so cheap! however it was lukewarm (on the cooler side for sure.) on the plus- the deserts i had were delicious! i had a slice of cake and a coconut bounty-like square. it’s interesting they price everything by weight. unfortunately there is no english menu/signs but at least you don’t have to worry about getting any meat/dairy in with your meal (except honey in the desserts.) i would still definitely recommend the place!! its chill, the staff are nice and super cheap for a vegetarian restaurant!

A gem in central Skopje! - Edit
Wasn't really expecting to find a vegan restaurant in central Skopje, as I first landed here without having searched how that'd look like. Also, with an abundance of gluten-free options which is remarkable. The lunch menu is very good quality for the cost. If you're passing by - don't miss it.

Cheap but not the best - Edit
I came here with high hopes, since Skopje does not have many vegan options. The food is as mentioned in a fridge, which was completely full when I got there at 2pm - perfect time to go. All signs are in Macedonian, no English menu and the staff did not speak English very well. I observed what others ordered and did the same. The pastry was a bad choice; I could barely cut it or chew it (since it was cold it was not flaky anymore). The pizza style slice was good but could do with more seasoning and spices. It was quite bland. There are many religious pamphlets and the elevator type music is too loud & adds nothing to the atmosphere.

Cons: No bathroom, No spices/flavours, Food is not stored properly

If you go again try the sausage pizza it’s the best. And yeah I don’t get the religious pamphlets. Aside from that one of my all time favorite places.

Good and cheap but - Edit
Very cute place, quite a lot to chose from but no english menu. The waitress, who speaks English, should be more helpful and explain more the different dishes and the main ingredients/tastes for each main dish and dessert. I was the only one at that time so no rush with other clients, it was like 6pm. I had a slice of some kind of eggplant tart and a slice of some lasagnas. Both were served at ambient temperature, it tasted good but it felt weird that it wasn’t kept in a fridge, and it would taste better if it was heated.

Not the best - Edit
The best thing from the food I got was the chickpea curry and rice. This is from the hot section.

Got tofu lasagna and buckwheat pastry thing - I couldn't eat the buckwheat pastry thing, had to be eaten by my husband and I managed to have some of the tofu lasagna. Both of these cold pastry things I would not recommend.
The decor of the place is nice and spacious

You can buy food by weight, get a piece of pizza or eat a cake. Unfortunatelly there's no coffee but you can get a tea or cold drinks. Everything is ready to eat so you don't have to wait.

Dead after 6pm? - Edit
Staff was friendly and spoke English.
Read moreNo menu available, I guess, but staff was willing to explain everything.
I came at 6pm and the kitchen was closed though they still had desserts, some prepared sandwiches and buffet left. I went with grilled vegetables and rice from the buffet, which was neither good nor bad.
At some point they started playing bland chamber music.

It's good, but there's no escaping the weird. - Edit
I like this place, but there's two major factors that can be off-putting:
Read more1) Almost all the food is cold and it shouldn't be.
2) It's an Adventist run restaurant with plenty of god-hurling-thunderbolts pamphlets around the place and one particular, chatty staff member who may initiate awkward conversations with you about it.
Regarding the first, there is both a hot and cold bain-marie, but the hot one is down the back with curry, lentil and etc dishes, and you may not notice it, and it may also be empty by the time you arrive. I ate here many times and never managed to get a hot meal. The main bain-marie at the front of the counter is filled with cold, cooked food that doesn't get reheated when you buy it. Sometimes this is fine (pizza, the burgers are quite good cold) but sometimes it's not (the potato-based dishes are tastless unless heated). I have no idea why they sell mostly cold food that should be eaten hot.
Regarding the second, well... there may be elements of Adventist beliefs that you don't like that may come up regardless of you wanting them to or not. To be fair, it only happened once, but I sure didn't initiate it, and it got awkward when I professed total disinterest in very conservative religious practices.
The mains (cold or otherwise) are above average and some dishes are excellent. The service is generally good, most of the staff have very good English, there is a huge range of vegan desserts and prices are pretty good. You can also buy in-house tofu and seitan and locally made vegan sausage, which are good but are preservative free so need to be consumed within a few days.
While they are open until 8pm there is often very little food left after about 6pm and they don't prepare more. Early close on Friday and being closed all day Saturday is pretty inconvenient considering the other vegan options in Skopje.
My tip: if you have an oven or microwave at your home buy early in the day and takeaway for reheating for dinner at home. Especially on Fridays.
The in-house music is terrible, terrible blandly inoffensive cafe jazz that makes me cry.
Pros: Good mains, great desserts, good prices
Cons: Almost everything is cold for some reason, awkward discussions on conservative religion, Old Testament prophets watching you eat

Good, simple food, mostly (or entirely?) vegan - Edit
The place is nice, clean, and bright, and very central. There's a fair variety of food, and much of it is straightforward and simple. I ate from the by-weight offerings (9 choices, and I mixed and matched) - eggplant, idli, pulao, though there were other choices on the menu, as well as a selection of sweets. Everything is well-marked, but only in Macedonian - easy for Cyrillic readers, but less so for others. The sweets were also marked as gluten free, honey free, and one other category I forget.
Read moreEverything is 'vegan' - but the honey-free marking suggest some of the sweets may have honey; I didn't investigate that, though they looked good.
Prices were good for a central location. A reasonably full plate cost me about 250 denars ($4-5).
Pros: Mostly or entirely vegan (maybe honey), Ingredients well described, Nice, simple setting
Cons: Ingredient description only in Macedonian
