Decepcionante

Comforting Vegan Meals

Really yummy, comforting meals. I got the pesto pasta which was delicious, and my friend got the thai curry. We also both got an oat milk coffee, and I had a tinto de verano which was really good (not overly sweet which is a bonus). It is a wee bit of a walk to get here, but the area is beautiful and the restaurant had a really nice vibe to it.

Pros: Tasty food, Cool location, Nice vibe

Cons: A little bit pricey , Restaurant was quite cold

menu diario vegan

delicious

Very cute restaurant. Location is great. Situated in the back streets of the old town. Along cobblestones paths. Only short walking distance to several view points of Alhambra. Also found a little vegan grocer not far either.
NOTE: starters, entrees and desserts are designed to share so they bigger then you think.
The menu is in 4 different languages! Yay!
Food was fast and very yummy. it that if you sit on the terrace you have a 10% fee on top of your bill.

Pros: all vegan delicious , good location menu is in 4 different languages , good sharing food.

Cons: surcharge for sitting on the terrace

Not a restaurant

Hmmm... claims to be a restaurant but acts like a bar. Arrived at 22.00 and asked about food. "Not possible" they replied. "Why?" "A lot of work". Thank you so much Granada's number one vegan choice. Steer clear if you're hungry. Wanted to give it zero but had to give 2.

Pros: no food but had wine

Cons: no food

Best vegan restaurant in Granada!

We went to FOUR different veg restaurants in Granada and Paprika was deemed the winner by everyone in our group! The serve a menu of the day that is around €13 (I think the price changes slightly day-to-day) for a starter, main dish, and dessert. You can also order only certain components of the menu (ex. starter and main only, main and dessert only). My parents both got the daily menu and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The day we went they had a delicious hummus to start, tofu al horno (definitely recommend; tofu baked in apricot sauce and topped with peanuts!!) as the main, and orange soy yogurt with fruit to finish (they are both vegetarian and loved the dairy-free yogurt here). My sister and I split the bruschetta (with their homemade bread and pesto) and their Asian wok. Definitely get both of these dishes!!! Also got a slice of raw pistachio cheesecake that I enjoyed. Overall, we loved this place. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the ambience is wonderful!!

Interesting menu

Just popped into Paprika as it was on my list of vegan restaurants in Granada. Had a lovely lunch. An interesting list of choices so I tried the oven baked tofu with apricot. Very nice.
Small and cosy restaurant with a nice atmosohere. Casual and rustic are adjectives that spring to mind. Tucked away so worth persevering to find it. Nice staff, reasonable prices.

Pros: Menu choices, Friendly and welcoming

Very good!

The staff Was super nice and the food very good! The menu is small, but they offer very different dishes. The price is pretty good for the amount of food you get :)

Tasty vegan organic food

We had dinner at Paprika on our trip to Granada in May 2013 after reading the reviews on this site. Sitting outside on one of the few tables, we watched the world go by and enjoyed a couple of Sangrias (organic/local wine is on the menu), a shared starter of crudites and nachos with houmus, guacamole and a couple of pesto/tomato "cheese" type dips, which we really enjoyed although perhaps not so much the houmus, which was a bit dense. As a main, I had the seitan stew with rice, which I would call a seitan Stroganoff (think creamy, mushroom sauce) and my friend had the Asian stir fry. The seitan Stroganoff was tasty and came with rice and a little side salad on the plate but there wasn't a lot of it, which for the price charged was a bit disappointing. The stir fry portion on the other hand was OK. We didn't have a dessert - partly because we didn't particularly fancy the sound of any of them a lot and partly also because we were at our budget for the night at just under 50 Euro for the drinks, shared starter and our mains. The tea (infusion) menu deserves a mention as it not only was it extensive but also educational in terms of what aid/treatment the plants/infusion can offer. While we've definitely eaten more cheaply while in Spain, I was very glad to find a fully vegan restaurant with local, organic foods in Granada and would recommend.

The food was healthy

The food was clean and healthy but not so tasty. Quite plain and without taste. Had to wait for the food some time even though the place was half full.

best place in Granada!

After we tried every vegan restaurant in Granada, we decided that this place is definitely the best. Food is very good, staff is friendly and the best thing - you can sit outside in the sun.

Pros: friendly, English speaking staff, good food, outside seating possible

Cons: a bit expensive compared to other vegan restaurant

very nice meal

Had a very nice meal here, nice atmosphere and service. Hasn't stayed in my memory as much as what I think are Granada's two best vegan options (Hicuri and El Oju) but would still definitely recommend.

Pros: Nice vibe

Wonderful restaurant near Triunfo

Paprika is a wonderful restaurant located near the Triunfo gardens. The place itself is very cozy and beautiful.

We ordered three different dishes: the Asian wok, the spring rolls and the veganillas (vegan quesadillas). All of them were very tasty, although I especially liked the spring rolls which were surprising and fresh, with a delicious quinoa and fresh vegetables filling.

The portions were big and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back again.

Pros: Friendly staff, Great food, Big portions

good food, unfriendly service

We arrived late and asked if we could still eat. The waitress was extremely unfriendly telling us that they had run out of a lot of dishes kind of suggesting us to leave. We stayed though. Had to wait for ages to get our tea. Food was tasty but nearly all main dishes with tofu or soy and imitations of meat which I find little innovative. Cook who brought us the desert in the end was friendly.

Pros: side dish was tasty, option to sit outside

Cons: unfriendly service

Delightful

This cozy restaurant has a surreal location if you're not used to the city. The menu is plentiful with good portion sizes. It was reasonably priced and very pleasant. We ordered bruschetta, Thai curry and rosé wine. All were fresh and delicious!

Pros: portion size, ambiance, outdoor seating

Nice, cosy place, great food

Reception and setting:
Going just up from c/Elvira to Albaicín, we by accident stumbled upon this restaurant. Even though I had looked it up before, we went there on an impuls. The cook in the open kitchen welcomed us and immediately convinced us to get the menu of the day.
What we had:
The menu includes a drink and comes at €12.7 per person including starters, main dish and coffee or dessert. We got to know Salmorejo for starters (which I shall attempt making myself, wow), a plate with baked tofu, legumes and veggies for main dish and finished with banana-coconut-cream. Drinks were included, but we ordered two extra beers to cool down after the meal.
What we paid:
This brought us to around 29-ish euro's, which we considered a correct price for the niceness we just got. No complaining, I'd trust the cook every time.
Some thoughts:
This place was really cosy, had a whole self-made vibe hanging around it. One of the seats was occupied by a cauliflower. When we asked about what the food contained, we got a good explanation and I got inspired to try it myself. Very positive experience.

Some explanation:
On our trip through Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada my girlfriend and I went to this restaurant, so the rating should be taken in comparison to the others for a full overview. I've made a systematic overview, but don't take this too seriously, as my opinion could even conflict with my gf's. Mind that the bill of this review needs to be split in two.

Pros: Nicely balanced food , Adequately priced, Nice atmosphere

It's ok

For the price we paid in this vegan restaurant, we did expect more. The food was ok, not bad, but the main courses were a bit tasteless. We had a good starter but the mains (pasta al horno and seitan with mushroom bechamel) lacked personality, not to mention the rice which was absolutely tasteless.

Pros: Does the job for a vegan meal

Cons: Too expensive , Very simple food
