Really flavorful and filling! - Edit
Absolutely delicious Falafel combo plate. A good and filling portion size with lots of bright veggies. At the end, we were brought two pieces of vegan cashew baklava that kind of stole the show...

My husband and I were looking for a nice place to eat after running the Big Sur Marathon in April 2017. I saw this restaurant listed on Happy Cow and checked the reviews here as well as on Yelp and they were outstanding. Believe the reviews--this place is awesome! It is a small restaurant and a one man show but rest assured, you will not wait long for delicious food. I ordered the falafel platter and the owner told me it would take 10 minutes because he needed to grind the beans to make it fresh. Can you believe that? Truly homemade food. They came out and had tons of texture and were absolutely delicious. The hummus was amazing and even the spinach salad with olive oil, lemon and a bit of sumac was delicious. My husband ordered the Loubiya. Neither of us had ever tried this dish but fell in love with it. My husband can't stop talking about how good the tomato sauce was. The meal ended with two pieces of baklava--vegan of course. We saved those to have with breakfast in the morning. This restaurant is a must if you are in Monterey.

Vegetarian food made fresh. Greek Salad was fresh and delicious as was everything else. Baklava was fresh made and just sweet enough to enjoy the toasted nuts.

Great! - Edit
We went here while on vacation. The owner runs the whole place. The food was fresh and so flavorful. Make sure to say you're vegan and he will make the small necessary adjustments. The domas were some of the best I've ever had. Great choice and close to aquarium!
