Really nice bloke serving, and tasty food. I had the chilli bowl which was wholesome and reasonably priced. Also ordered the vegan nachos but was full from the chilli so the guys were kind enough to package them up for takeaway.

Had the Garlic & Rosemary Tots which were pretty good with the spicy Catsup. I also got the Thai burrito which featured the Curry Tots - Very good flavor pairing. Guava juice was cold and fresh.

Close by, Good location. Walking distance from beaches and supermarkets. Yummy comfort food. Lots of sauces, potatoes, burrito tasty. Friendly staff. Menu is very clear on what’s vegan, GF, veg, etc.

Definitely a go to place for vegans on Puerto Escondido with fair a few vegan options (burrito, salads, burger, …). I had the burrito vegan and it was delicious.

Bit gutted they didn't have the samosas or the vegan nachos so just had the papas and a salad which were good but was hoping for more. Might be a better experience for others when they have the stock in.

The burritos were good although it lacked some flavor in my opinion. We were not given salsas or hot sauces to go with them. Same with the nachos. Good but could be better.

Definitely order the chili here. For 45 pesos, the bowl size is a really solid portion and it’s super, super tasty. Maybe order it with the vegan nachos and pour some over the nachos while you’re at it!
Read moreThe actual tots I was less thrilled with, but I guess that’s my fault for getting the plain ones. I think they need a bit more salt and some pepper mixed in them, as even for plain, they’re a bit *too* plain. It’s also worth noting that they’re small, maybe four or five cm in diameter? So just be prepared for that.
Probably gonna head back here and try a different flavor of tots and inevitably get the chili again too despite telling myself I’m gonna try something different.

Plenty of vegan options and all delicious. Especially loved the Indian style burrito. They even have a vegan ice cream sandwich (but they didn’t have it when i was there). Menu is in English & Spanish. Super cheap, $70 for a good sized burrito. Food isn’t super healthy but it’s really yum. Food can take a while to come so don’t go if you’re in a rush.

We both had the vegan burritos with garlic and rosemary papa tots. The vegan cheese inside is almost not recognizable. The papa tots are a bit big and fill most of the burrito. It was delicious and especially a big one for 70 pesos affordable. Seems like a good price and was very filling.

Great little restaurant. Like the name suggests, PapaTots serves fried potatoes in various forms. It’s not health food, but it’s filling, cheap and tasty. About $35MXN for four big potato balls. The potato balls can be worked into a salad, burrito, etc.

On their website they talk about the trial and error they did to get the perfect tots, and they’ve done exactly that! The tots are crispy and crunchy on the outside yet soft and moist on the inside. We got an order of the rosemary and garlic tots with marinara, a large vegan burrito and a small indu burrito. Everything was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try something else.
