To me the best vegan option in the city. We have been there for dinner and Sunday brunch, the service was super and the food delicious. The fast food option are made in a way that they have a real freshness to them. Kids loved the sliders.

Prompt, attentive excellent service includes server and chef explaining recipe ingrediants if you ask. They make veggie burgers with about 2/3 of the same high-sodium base as in a Veggie Whopper, though use quinoa for the other, healthier 1/3. Paased on the intended veggie burger. Had excellent black bean soup (great texture, flavor and aroma, but bit heavy on sodium, I presume) and a nice side salad with very nice ginger based dressing. Very good to have this veggie/vegan choice open on a Sunday night! Open restaurant creates relatively loud patron voice volume, so not conducive to conversation. They have outside dining with umbrellas if you like. Abundant parking.

This food was amazingly good! I sampled a bunch of stuff, including the pimento cheese, fried pickles, slaw, Buffalo wings and the gyro. I had to go back and look at the menu to verify that it was in fact vegan. That pimento cheese tastes just like cheese! Unbelievable! I can’t wait to go back!

I’m from Southport so if I want decent vegan food I have to drive to Wilmington most of the time and Panacea was a game changer for me. I love kombucha and theirs is to die for, it is super strong and flavorful. The food is AMAZING here, and it’s always good to support a fully vegan restaurant. I’ve tried various menu items but the chili cheese fries are always my go-to dish when I eat here. I definitely recommend trying the fish and chips if you visit on a friday as well!

This is a fantastic vegan restaurant. The decor is eclectic with outdoor seating option. All the items I have eaten have been truly delicious. These people make their own fermented ketchup for your fries! Excellent kombucha that they produce themselves. This is a great place and I highly recommend it.

we were in wilmington on vacation and i dragged my omnivorous parents here and they loved it too. my mom thought the chicken in her salad was real and i had to explain to her that this is a vegan restaurant. i got the tofu scramble thing and it was delicious and well seasoned. i love this place and would definitely go back. also i got a gigantic peanut butter cookie and it was really good. they also have huge brownies that my mom liked.

I used to really enjoy the food here but my last two meals were not good. Black bean soup was tepid (twice) and served without the promised lime (also twice). When I asked I was told they didn’t have any. Just poor form, send someone to the grocery store, for heaven’s sake. Fries were also not hot so I sent them back and asked for them hot and crispy and the next batch was hotter but still soggy. Dishes that had been available with a gluten free option aren’t any more, so if you’re GF there aren’t a whole lot of options beyond salad and nachos.

Very yummy kombucha - both with and without alcohol. I had 2 tacos - Buffalo cauliflower & fried squash blossom - and greens as the side. All quite yummy! My husband had a burger - he wasn’t a fan. My daughter had smothered fries (I think it was chili or nacho) - neither husband or daughter liked these. Neither are vegetarian but were willing to try Panacea for me. I will totally come back to eat solo - I loved my food. I am not a fan of any “Impossible/Beyond” foods so I didn’t want to try their entrees. Wish I could post photos.
