A wee gem in "Guiltfree" street - Edit
We stopped in for a hot drink and loved the look of the menu so much, we made another stop in Ghent the next day just to come back to try the food.
Read moreThe vegan carbonara bowl is comforting, filling and satisfying, with lovely vegan "chorizo". The drinks here offer a good selection of treats and healthier options. There is a range of price options, from ice cream starting at 2 euros, to a fancy brunch combo option at 23 euro.
Pros: Delicious food, Great healthy options, Nice atmosphere and staff
Cons: Price for brunch menu seems high

Vegan pancakes for the win! - Edit
Stayed the night with my friend who lives 5 steps away from O'yo. We were looking for vegan pancakes in Ghent this morning and discovered that they had them here. We passed by this place many times before and know it as "that place with the damp windows", but never entered before. We were pleasantly surprised: very cosy interior, atmospheric coffee table music and delicious pancakes that surpassed our expectations. Also the golden almond latte with turmeric and ginger cardamom syrup is a great combo, plus you get a vegan treat on the side!

Birthday cake - Edit
I went to O'yo with some friends to celebrate my birthday. I'm vegan, but my friends aren't. And everyone loved the food! I searched some vegan carrot cake for my birthday in Brussels and I didn't found one. But in O'yo they had an exquisite vegan coco-carrot cake! And the best is yet to come: as a birthday present, the (nice) people from O'yo gave me a free extra part of cake…! Definitely a great place!

Cons: The kimchi was too expensive for the small portion
