One of a kind: Finally a Vegan Pasty Shop - Edit
This authentic pastry shop was faultless and had an delcious range of vegan pasty and cakes! The pasties were beyond delicious and to find a vegan nut free chocolate cake is rare so I couldn't believe my luck! The staff were incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about their vegan selection. Would recommend to any foodies.

Traditional vegan Cornish pasties! A rare sight but was delicious!

Authentic texture and filling; just like back before I was vegan – a little pricy but other than that it was lovely and a filling lunch

It's great to find vegan Cornish pasties - Edit
We stopped in for lunch after visiting Vegetarian Shoes nearby. They had 4 varieties of vegan pasties, of which we had the wholemeal vegetable and the plant-based chicken and leek. Both were very tasty and filling. We also had a yummy, very lemony lemon tart for dessert. I watched the staff take batches of newly baked pasties out of the oven and insert a food thermometer in every one to check it was at a safe temperature before putting them in the warm display case.

Some vg pasties & treats - Edit
Well done on having a selection of vegan pasties and treats! Lots of other pasty shops are a bit behind the times. The vg chicken and leek pasty was yummy and so was the lemon tart. I loved the look of the choc cake but I didn’t have the room for it! 😂

Delicious pasties - Edit
I heard this place has some of the best vegan cakes in Brighton so I popped in to have a look, hoping for the lemon meringue pie I'd spotted on Happy Cow. Unfortunately my timing was bad because their seasonal range was in so there were a lot of mince pies (which I don't like). So instead I got one of their pasties and oh boy was it delicious. It was chi'ken and leek and came wrapped in a buttery, flaky pastry. The inside was creamy and cooked to perfection with a slight peppery aftertaste. It kept its heat very well and I'm hoping to stock up on a few for the journey home so I can try some of their other vegan flavours. Yum!

I love this little shop. They have a nice selection of vegan pasties and cakes. There isn’t much seating inside, but if you do find a place, it’s very cosy and a nice place to people watch.

I dream about the Mexicana pastry - Edit
The Mexicana Cornish pastry is one of my favourite things in this world. Perfect amount of spicy but I can take spice so beware - the other pastries are good but not spicy. I live around the corner and I sometimes get the 2 for 1 offer (two big pastries for about £4) multiple times a week because they're so good and filling. Will miss this when I move away!

BEST VEGAN CAKES & SWEET TREATS - Edit
Although known for their vegan pasty and sausage roll options (which are all fantastic) it’s their cakes which are just simply the best! They offer so many vegan cakes, brownies, cheesecakes, tarts... even vegan custard tarts and vegan meringue! Big applaud to the baker- everything has been amazing. Check out their instagram for all the delicious sweet good they do!

Vegan cakes - Edit
Although not entirely vegan they have 3 vegan pasties and a vegan "sausage" roll and an abundance of vegan cakes. In fact, on the day of our visit all the cakes were vegan. Can't comment on the savouries but the cake we had was delicious 😋

Great for a tasty snack - Edit
This place has pasties, a "sausage" roll and cakes on offer. As I just wanted something little I went for the "sausage" roll and found it to be filled with a really flavoursome tomatoey paste. Overall it had great texture and taste and I would definitely go here again.

Good vegan cakes - Edit
Three vegan pasties, a vegan sausage roll and a selection of Vegan cakes. The lemon meringue tart was lovely - good pastry and nice sharp lemon curd to contrast with the meringue. The coffee is nice too but it is a shame they have a surcharge for non-dairy milk (20p for soya, 50p for oat/almond) - a pet hate of mine.

The Best Vegan Cakes in Brighton - Edit
I visit the pasty shop a lot (probably an excessive amount) as working opposite it is literally impossible to resist.
Read moreThere are several vegan pasty options, all of which are great but the Thai vegetable is amazing!
The cakes change on a regular basis and over 50% are usually vegan and clearly marked. They have rich chocolate, peanut or biscoff cakes more often than not but have loads of other interesting flavours and even vegan meringue.
It’s conveniently located in the middle of the North Laines so it’s a great stop for lunch or to pick up on the go, the staff are always really friendly and helpful. It’s definitely one of Brighton’s best kept vegan secrets, if you’re in the city for a limited time then this has to be at the top of your places to try.
Pros: Amazing flavours , Multiple vegan options , Friendly staff

I'd seen photos of their cakes on Facebook, so had been meaning to visit for a while, but I was still surprised that they tasted as good as they look.
