Incredible brunch - Edit
We heard about the set brunch option and wanted to try it so badly it was the first place we stopped at in Lisbon. Absolutely delicious! A massive tasting platter of fresh, flavoursome food and drinks. The plates are beautiful and you get so much food for one person, it was so fun to try everything. We also got the gyozas which were equally divine. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is beautiful, full of greenery or you can sit outside like we did. We're only here for a few days but will be coming back!

Great and original food - Edit
We had the cannoli w/mushroom mousse as starter, and as mains the Berlin (baguette w/smoked meatballs and sauerkraut) and the Traveler (cocoa tagliatelle w/nuts fondue).
Read moreThe three dishes were excellent, and I found the flavors to be rather original.
For dessert we got the rhubarb/raspberry pan and the ginja (cherry liquor) cake which was superb.
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
During dinner it gets busy so reservations are recommended.
Pros: good food and desserts, nice vibe, good service

Favourite place in Lisbon - Edit
Among many good vegan restaurants in Lisbon, this one is my favourite place. Modern and a little more distinguished, Orteá offers a variety of delicious plantbased food. Just around the corner you ca find Bordalo's "Raposa" (Street Art)

Disappointing- odd flavor combinations - Edit
We ordered the Cocoa tagliatelle and 5 spice tempeh. Both were odd mixes of flavors. The dumpling appetizer was delicious as was the bread sampler with truffle spread. Nice server and atmosphere.

Amazing brunch A++ - Edit
Went for lunch and by chance it was a brunch day (weekends only). The incredibly professional and friendly team really took the service to another level. The brunch itself was pure heaven. Absolutely balanced out selection and super flavorful. They also recommended their other restaurant in Lissabon to us: 26 vegan food project

Very creative - Edit
One of the most creative restaurants in Lisbon (apparently it's a Ao26 spin off). I think some of it probably looked better than it tasted but still enjoyable. The gluten free rolls were not my thing.

Massive Vegan Brunch - Edit
Orteá is an incredible vegan brunch spot here in Lisbon!
Read moreThe restaurant goes by a different name in the front but it's not hard to miss. The cafe is filled with plants and really has an amazing, chill vibe that will make your brunch experience very enjoyable.
I went with their massive €24 Vegan Brunch and just by looking at the pictures, you can see how amazing it ended up being. The brunch comes in a large platter and is a tapas style experience. Items included a refreshing yogurt parfait with fresh berries, a homemade chocolate cake, oven baked scones with various dips and jams (including a hazelnut spread), and even a small fondue set with baby vegetables.
Top that off with a few included drinks including a café au lait and kombucha and it was truly a memorable feast. I had to get some of the good to go because it was so much for one person. Everything was delicious.
Only minor thing was that the power kept cutting off during my visit and would return a few seconds later. I was glad I had gotten all my food by that point.
Pros: Excellent vegan brunch set

Haute Cuisine! - Edit
The food is mostly unprocessed, fresh, varied and seasonal … and very tasty. Not very spicey though. Don’t leave without a bica com spume de leite and a coffee tarte.

5* - Really good vegan restaurant in Portugal - Edit
From the same owners of Ao26 and Nomalism (a long time ago), Orteá is a high-quality food restaurant with many delicious options.
Read moreThey also have great vegan cheese, produced by them.. and don't get me started about their desserts and cakes overall. For Xmas I always buy from them (in the pictures) and this year the xmas white chocolate log was very close to perfection.
As improvement points, I would say the bread: I really dislike their home-made gluten free bread, as it tastes a lot like yeast, even if some of the breads they also include in some dishes are quite nice, and a bit more diversity on the main dishes.
But, to be honest, there's no missing here, overall everything is really good and I absolutely recommend people to have a meal at Orteá (I stubbornly still call it Botanista).
Eventually I will add pictures from the many visits and online orders of their food :)

Vegan. Food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! The atmosphere is pretty lame and the overall "look" of the restaurant it's everything but interesting or welcoming. (Could also use some "soundtrack" assistance.). Nonetheless, the food makes up for the rest and the service is pretty good as well.

Interesting menu, very well executed - Edit
The menu will have you wondering what exactly to expect, but you should expect to be wowed by some fantastic flavours, a great use of ingredients, and a great overall experience. It may be a little pricier than some other vegan restaurants in Lisbon, but I’d definitely say it’s worth it. I’d recommend reservations on the weekend, but walk up is possible if not too late. Service was fantastic, everything we tasted was delicious, and the overall vibe was thoroughly enjoyable. Would 100% recommend!

Good and complex menu - Edit
Didn’t come here since the rebrand, at the time the pad thai was phenomenal and the desserts underwhelming. Went for brunch, we shared a cashew cream/mushroom toast, lemon curd pancakes and passionfruit dessert, and tea. I’ll mention the tea because my friend came here for it and was disappointed to see it was just from a bag 😅. I’d say it’s more surprising how intricate the menu is, but in practice, the food is not incredible! Everything was good, don’t get me wrong, except for the pancakes being a little dry and flavourless. The the ice cream on the passion fruit dessert, on the other hand, was delightful!! Plus my non vegan friend really enjoyed it😄

Good Brunch - Edit
Nice place for a late morning meal — liked the Berlin toast with vegan meatballs, tomatoes, mustard, and red cabbage sauerkraut. The Rasperry Rhubarb Pan for dessert was lovely — just what I needed. There were plenty of gluten-free items on the menu as well. Chai latte was good and there were several different kombucha flavors to choose from. Also: the vegan cheese plate was really wonderful.
