So so - Edit
Appreciated vegan options. I had soya cutlets. The taste was nothing wow for me. Good to have something to eat anyway! The staff was very polite and service was good.

Really liked this place - Edit
My wife and I tried this place and immediately liked the brightly lit room and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient.
Read moreThe vegan choices were limited but clearly marked. My wife had the soy cutlet and told me it was very tasty. I had the vegan pizza which was excellent made with tofu instead of cheese. We both had wine sold by the glass. Best of all there was a vegan dessert choice so we had dessert. Prices very reasonable.
Pros: Good atmosphere and service , Clearly marked vegetarian and vegan choices, Reasonably priced.
Cons: Limited vegan choices

Not restaurant worthy - Edit
I had the soy cotelleta with seasonal vegetables which turned out to be two soy ‘chicken’ burgers, some spinach and baked potatoes. The potatoes were extremely salty.

Plain, could have bought a pack of salad in Carrefour - Edit
The pizza was barely fine, just tomato sauce, few mushrooms and a few bits of silken tofu.but the oregano “salad” for 9 or 10€ were just leaves and all possible veggies thrown in a bowl.no sauce added, had to season it myself with oil, balsamico and salt.i expect at least some added value from a “restaurant”. The dishes at our neighbours’ table didn’t look particularly exciting as well😒maybe the prices are ok for Rome but I suggest buying a nice plate and putting a bag of mixed veggies from any supermarket on it and you’ll probably have a nicer food experience.

best food I've tasted - Edit
Vegan pasta, pizza, meatballs and more with amazing dessert. Our non vegan friends like us thought the food was superb, in a friendly relaxing environment. The pricing was clear with no hidden table charges and tax like at other places in Rome. Went there our last two nights in Rome after discovering it.

Great, well-priced pizza and great service - Edit
As a protein-conscious person, I was delighted to see a tofu-topped pizza on the menu for only €10. Vegan options clearly marked with 2 leafs on the menu, vegetarian with 1 leaf. Great service, the waiters are not pushy, they leave you to get on in peace and quiet. Would definitely go back to try another one of the vegan dishes!

We enjoyed a great meal which included tomato bruschetta, vegan pizza and arrabbiata pasta at a very decent price. Vegetarian/ vegan options were marked on the menu and customer service was great.

Good - Edit
Vegan pizza is ok but the tofu on top is tasteless. It's kind of 4 season without cheese but the pizza is big with lot of vegetable. Price is OK too. It's always nice to see vegan option in a touristic place.

Good but not great - Edit
First time I went I had the vegan pizza and eggplant bruchetta. It was pretty good although I'd add more flavor to the sauce. I added arugula and aceto balsamico so it made it better.
Read moreSecond time I had the soy fillet that comes with seasonal veggies (it came with zucchini only) and baked potatoes. It was alright but dry, there was no sauce or anything. Again, I asked for ketchup and mustard to make it better. Potatoes were not made fresh, it was chewy, obviously old but kept warm. Big no-no for potatoes. Both meals made me full though. They are €10-€12 each. I also had the vegan apple pie with caramel sauce. It tasted old, just warmed up in a microwave and drizzled with barely any caramel sauce. Soy latte was okay, served in a glass cup that you can't hold because it's too hot.
I had the same waitress both times, she was polite.
I would go back for the pizza only, as it's conveniently located in the city near all attractions.
Pros: good location okay pizza soy latte/cappuccino
Cons: potatoes, dessert not fresh pricey for the value

Clearly marked vegan/veggie options - Edit
Staff spoke excellent English, were friendly and welcoming. The menu clearly states which options were vegan (including hummus, bruschetta, vegan pizza, salad, breaded soy cutlets, and a vegan spiced apple spelt cake). Although the vegan options were a little limited, and perhaps not the best meals I’ve ever eaten, the vegan options were appreciated and enjoyed! Price was reasonable. Close to trevi fountain. Open all day, so nice if you aren’t used to waiting until late evening to eat dinner.

Ok pizza for lunch, not many vegan options - Edit
Went here for lunch during my recent stay in Rome. The vegan items are clearly marked, however, there aren't that many of them. There were 4 appetizers, 1 pasta, 1 secondi, 1 sallad, 1 pizza and 1 dessert that was vegan. The pizza was ok. I would only go here again if I did not have time to go someplace better.

Favourite meal in Rome - Edit
After several days of cheese-less vegetarian pizzas and bumbling my way through menus, I was SO happy that I sought out Origano Trevi. The menu is clearly labeled with vegetarian and vegan dishes - and there are multiple vegan options! I got the breaded soy cutlet with roast potatoes and spinach...a welcome change from pasta and pizza. It was reasonably priced (12 euro for the entree, and about 4 euros for a glass of wine) even though it was only a short walk from Trevi fountain.

Very good pizza - Edit
The pizza here was one of the best (if not the best) vegan pizza I ever had. It was without cheese but that was not necessary. Instead, it had some diced tofu and olive oil on it. Moreover, we had the apple pie dessert which was still warm and just great! It would deserve 5 stars if that was possible.

Let me give 5 Stars - Edit
Had a great time at this place. The staff was friendly and there are enough well labeled vegan options. The burger I had could have been more spicy though. The cooking took a little longer (not too long), so they brought us bruscetta bread for free. Every table has a small oregano bowl. The children at the restaurant could even come to the kitchen and make their own pizza. The prizes are fair and the servings are large. It's a great place to visit, no matter if you're alone or with omnis.

Highly recommended - Edit
We visited this place again on our last night, as it was the best restaurant we'd been to during our week in Rome.
Read moreThe tonnarelli cacio e pepe and the gnocchi con pesto were both delicious. Veggie and vegan dishes are clearly marked, and if you get seated in the right place, you can see them being cooked (or your used dishes being washed up).
The staff are genuine and friendly without being pushy, not always a given in Rome. Definitely worth a visit.
Pros: Just delicious food, Efficient, friendly staff
Cons: Rather limited choice of vegan dishes

Good but NO VEGAN CHEESE - Edit
This place is pretty good but their vegan calzone had no cheese. The vegan burger was good. Nothing spectacular. The vegan options are clearly marked. That is a huge plus. I had higher hopes because we called ahead and they said they had vegan cheese. Language barrier? Possibly.

Origano Trevi - Edit
Me and my boyfriend ate here on numerous occasions whilst staying in Rome. The staff were very helpful, approachable and friendly.
Read moreThe dishes on the menu had a very easy key to follow to show which dishes were vegan. To our surprise there were numerous vegan options, including a gorgeous upside down apple cake dessert!
Among the vegan options we tried were; a calzone, original pizza, seitan on pea purée and the chickpea and cous coins salad. All very well portioned for the price.
If you're in Rome please do go and visit Origano Trevi!
Pros: Numerous Vegan Options , Well Priced , Friendly Staff
