Great place! - Edit
I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend eats meat... we both love this place. Great food, great prices, great service and great music playing in the background!

Central location with few options - Edit
Went here for dinner as it was the only Happy Cow place nearby. The staff is nice and attentive and the food came really fast.
Read moreWe both got a pizza and the crust was good - it had lots of fresh vegetables, but the sauce didn't really have much flavour so it ended up being a little bland.
Place has about 4/5 vegan options and some more vegetarian.
Pros: location , price, staff

quick vegan food near the Spanish Steps - Edit
I had a walking tour soon and stopped in here. Although I had reservations about it because they serve meat, I was happy to support the vegan side of their business. I got a sandwich and it was very good. They heat it up for you as well.

Not really impressed - Edit
I had the vegan calzone, and my boyfriend who is omni had a calzone with meat in it. Unfortunately, since the two things looked completely the same, I had the one with meat in front of me, only noticing this when I already had a piece of ham on my fork. The waiter apologised when I told her. The vegan calzone was Good, but not spectacular. They charged us 5 euro's to much for a drink and they weren't to friendly when I asked about it. Mixed feelings.

uninspiring food, but range of options - Edit
A good range of vegetarian and vegan options, English menu, clearly marked which are vegan and which are veg, a number of appetisers and mains to choose from. I had the vegan calzone for 9 euro. It was ok, and was huge and very filling (could probably feed two for lunch) but the veggies inside were bland with basil the only real taste. So all in all, reliable place to get vegan food though the food isn't great.

delicious pizza!!!! - Edit
Went there with people of varying diets and all very hungry after a long day and was glad to find some clearly marked vegan options as well as a variety of other options for my friends. They were very full but happy to find a way to accommodate us- the staff were very friendly throughout. Ordered the vegan pizza which was absolutely delicious - everyone else tried some and loved it too!! Also had vegetable fried which were also good, came as a generous portion! Would definitely return to try more things on the menu!!

unspectacular food - Edit
We were seated quickly and had a look through the vegan choices of which there were a few. I had the seitan which left a lot to be desired, the pea purée was nice though. Omni had lasagna which looked reheated and tasted bland and unappetising. No salad on the side. Just a block of lasagna. Less than impressed. The waiter was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Cons: bland, unappetising food, no garnish on foods, atmosphere didn't feel friendly.

Convenient but only okay food - Edit
As always, great to see clearly marked vegan choices. I ordered a calzone which meant to have pesto, but it only had a very plain tomato sauce. Great location and convenient, but dish quality wise; I've had better.

yes, it's a great choice - Edit
Friendly, lots of clearly marked vegan choices and good value with decent portions. The calzone wasn't very mineable but the seitan steak was nice as were the salads.

great options - Edit
I was over joyed to find a restaurant with easy vegan options on the menu that didn't require me to make changes. The wait staff were very very friendly and made an extra effort to make sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to other vegans as there is actually a fair few options for us! I like to see mainstream places supporting our cause :)

Clear vegan options; but choose carefully - Edit
Two of us went for lunch and had the penne alla arrabbiata, a large vegan salad, and shared a caponata served with "pizza bianca" flatbread.
Read moreThe penne was nice and spicy. The caponata was delicious and a generous portion. The salad was not very filling: even though it was huge, it was mostly leaves.
Service was quite slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty when we turned up at 4pm. The restaurant was clean.
Pros: Vegan options are very clearly labelled in the men, Delicious caponata
Cons: Big salad not filling

Nice spot and good range on menu - Edit
The were quite a few vegan options outlined on the menu. We had a lunch deal which was 12e for salad starter, pasta or pizza main, soft drink or beer and coffee. We had a vegan calzone and a vegan pizza. Both generously sized and tasty. Friendly staff and good location.

lovely dinner - Edit
After a long day of sightseeing Origano came through with tasty and filling food. The salads are generous. My son loved the pasta and I enjoyed the Vegan Thousand Leaves very much. Staff was super friendly. Food and ambiance were not fancy, but it was a cozy place to recharge.

Tasty vegan pizza - Edit
The vegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. We ate tasty vegan pizzas with pretty basic vegetable toppings. The cheese-eater found quattro stagione really good. The cook accidentally made two quattros and one vegan pizza when it was supposed to be another way around. They made the delay up by bringing me a nice vegan appetizer with zucchini chips, tomatoes and olive oil leaving me feeling glad they made that mistake: good service!

great place ! - Edit
this place is located right between the spanish stairs and the trevi fountain. usually these tourist places are not where you want to go but origano is the exception to the rule. you get great veggie and vegan food which is clearly indicated on the menu, large portions, friendly staff and all this for a very decent price. when you go for the special menu (which actually allows you to get everything on the menu) you get even more value for money. i would definetely reccomend it when you are in Rome.
