Cute Vegetarian Cafe - Edit
Very cute cafe in downtown Beverly, MA with so many options. I ordered the Sesame Ginger salad which was delicious! My husband ordered the Sunburger snd fries. The only thing not making this place vegan is honey in some of the breads. Would highly recommend if in the area!

A staple for this local vegan! - Edit
Organic Garden Cafe is the perfect place for when you’re craving good, hearty vegan food but not up for all that cooking. They have a variety of options and rotating specials, each more mouth watering than the last. I particularly appreciate their delectable dessert counter with all the vegan-friendly baked goods a girl could hope for! Great for a quick sit down meal or take out on the run!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Black Bean Bowl as well as the maple scone. My husband (not vegan) was pretty crazy about the Sunburger sandwich.

Not the same, but still good! - Edit
This was the one that used to be raw vegan, right? It’s not that anymore, but I got a lovely burrito bowl and smoothie and my girlfriend got a coffee and a burger and we shared a charming tiramisu!

Very good! Would definitely come back! - Edit
Love that this place is mostly gluten free as well! Super friendly staff. I think the only thing we noticed were that many of the things that were supposed to be creamy weren’t as much (almost like they didn’t blend the cashews well enough). But very very good! #Veganuary

Best of Beverly! - Edit
This place is the real deal! Great vegan fare, extensive menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner with delicious deserts to boot! We ordered online before we arrived and enjoyed outdoor dining before a show at The Cabot, 30 seconds away! Highly recommended for anyone that cares about healthy, tasteful and creative foods!

Fine but not satisfying - Edit
I get what they’re going for but for my partner and I, it just did not work. We’ve tried on a few occasions since there aren’t a ton of vegan options in the area. The food itself is fine, just feels like it’s trying really hard to be something it’s not. And it does feel exorbitantly expensive - I get that it’s mostly organic, but it sucks to pay nearly $50 on takeout just to still be hungry. I feel like to non vegans it makes vegan food seem really unapproachable.

Earth delicious healthy - Edit
I love everything about Organic Cafe. The food is incredibly healthy but still so full of flavor. Dessert case has a ton of options for something sweet and the main menu is packed with various options. I went here for my first meal after a weekend in the hospital and it brought me back to life. Very earthy, soothing atmosphere inside and everyone is very friendly. One of my favorite restaurants of all time!

Cute place, great staff, good food - Edit
We split the nachos; I got the pad thai and the person with me got the fettuccine alfredo. She didn't realize it was zoodles by default but I do think it was listed on the menu that way so that's on us. I also got the rooibos from their tea menu, which is from memtea down in Boston.
Read moreThe food was very good; I swear the bowls were an optical illusion because they were VERY filling despite not looking like a large portion. Pricing is high but that's the reality when you source mostly organic ingredients. The portions being so filling kind of balanced out the price for us because we got two meals out of it all.
Staff were very sweet and helpful. It was a little strange - we went around 7pm and they apparently switch to counter service at night. Not a bother, really, and probably due to staffing issues. But just a heads up for others in case you grab a menu and sit down at a table like we did!
Pros: All vegan , Staff are super nice , Big menu
Cons: Expensive

Great for healthy eaters - Edit
I was really excited to try this restaurant after reading all of the great reviews. It was a bit of a let down eating the food. It’s healthy food trying to be comfort food and it’s really expensive. Over $17 for a personal pizza that was just ok is disappointing.

I Wish They Had An Apartment for Sale In the Back! - Edit
I've considered moving to Beverly (many times), solely due to the location of this restaurant. For me, it's the pinnacle of vegan eateries, due to it's informative/transparent process/presentation, focus on health/well-being, and numerous raw vegan options. Main courses, snack items, after-meal desserts, coffee? -- they have it all.

Note: The service quality can vary at times, but this seems to be a product of being busy, as opposed to effort/intent.

Drove 45 minutes to get here and it’s worth it. We decided to split a tiramisu. Then it was so good we did it again. 😊 The corn chowder is terrific. We also got the zaatar bowl. The burrito. Strawberry superfood smoothie. Everything was excellent.

A safe bet but sometimes not consistent - Edit
The first time I came here was around twenty years ago. For many years I lived around the block. I’ve eaten here countless numbers of times, and gotten take out countless others.
Read moreAlthough many times I’ve been extremely happy with the food, there have also been many others where the quality was terrible.
In my visit before last I ordered corn quesadillas, which I was told were raw. They not only weren’t raw but were extremely dry. I couldn’t finish.
I also got the raw bagel. I’ve had this many times. This time it was also dry, as if it was old.
I did get a free dessert to compensate for it.
My last visit was a marguerita pizza. I threw most of it away, as it was hard, nothing was melted, and was not tasty.
It’s still worth a visit. But I’d suggest that if you are not happy with the food to let them know and maybe they can give you something else.
Their menu is much decreased since COVID, and they don’t currently have any raw items anymore. I’m glad to see that they are still open, but hopefully the quality will improve to more of what it used to be.
