The place to get out of the hustle and bustle in Hanoi

I looove this place.
I've been in Hanoi for a week and come here every day after the yoga classes.
Every time I try something different and have not been disappointed so far.
The food is amazing, staff super friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Nice, calming music is playing in the background.

The menu has both Vietnamese and Western style dishes.
Some dishes are not vegan but they are clearly marked as vegetarian.

They don't use reusable bamboo straws

Pros: food is amazing, relaxed atmosphere, Bamboo straws

Cons: For Vietnam a bit pricey, a few dishes are only vegetarian

An oasis in chaotic Hanoi

Great relaxing place, good environment and music and nice menu with many options. Had the best salad of my life, the local one with roasted vegetables! A must!!

Pros: Environment , Salad quality, Friendly staff

Cons: A little pricey but worth it , Hidden inside a dodgy alley

Very quiet place

The place is really peacefull and well decorated. The food was good ! I enjoyed the pad thaï (90k) and the vegan chocolate cake (55k). The food came fast, was fresh and tasty. A little bit expensive compare other Vietnamese restaurant but it is good quality !!

Sehr frische und gute Säfte in einer super Athmosphäre. Pesto Pizza und Pita ausgezeichnet lecker und der Schokoladenkuchen zum dahinschmelzen.

Great little find

We popped in mid afternoon for a drink and a cookie - loved the layout of the cafe - upstairs on chilled sofas where you can relax! The food is a bit more pricey but we liked the look of the menu and will definitely come back for lunch.

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere

Cons: Not fully vegan

Fantastic food

Food in this little cafe exceeded my expectations. I had the fresh spring rolls with mango and avocado. Serving was generous with a moreish accompanying dip. It was also beautifully presented and served in 5-10 minutes. As I waited I watched an array of great looking dishes being brought out. Will go out of my way to come back here. Note to those searching for it- it's in a courtyard down an alley off the main street. I only saw the old 'zenith II' sign from outside.

Pros: Creative extensive menu- much more than just 'back, Delicious food presented v. well, Prompt service

Wow, amazing pizza, pita and smoothies in a very chilled setting

This place is lovely, lots of soft seating, decent tables for work and low lounge seating.

We had pizza and pita wrap which tasted amazing, highly recommended. Cacoa smoothie hit the spot and green smoothie gad so many flavours!

We are coming back here. Oh, good WiFi as well.

Pros: Huge selection , Love love love the smoothie , Pizza

Cons: Hard to find

breakfast, lunch and dinner

I can’t recommend this place enough. I spent 10 days in Hanoi and visited Om and the owner Huong every day for at least two of my meals. It was that good!! I particularly loved the pho, fresh spring rolls and vegan chocolate cake. All of the chefs and yoga teachers are local women. The yoga teachers are also incredible and I can’t wait to go back. Thanks so much for looking after me, Huong!!

Pros: food, yoga

Cons: none

Favourite Vegan cafe in Hanoi

Love the chilled atmosphere of this cafe. It's very relaxed and is a nice change of pace from the bustling city.

The food is very good, with a nice mixture of western and Vietnamese dishes, and all tastes very fresh and healthy.

nice place

The interior design is worth going. Good food and books available.
Not the easiest place to find but worth it.

Well hidden but worth finding

Hidden away in an alley/laneway and looks dingy outside with their neighbour's junk piled up, but very pleasant inside. Take off shoes at the door.
The pumpkin and chia burger was good but could have done with less pineapple. The bean and quinoa burger was fresh and delicious.

Nice, relaxing cafe

Great, open space with different seating options. Menu was varied and contained many western options. I tried the pesto mushroom pizza with whilemeal base. The base with thin but a little dense and dry. I couldn't taste much pesto but there was plenty of fresh basil on top which made up for this. The vegan ricotta had zero taste but the texture worked well. Overall it was nice. Would like to go back to try different items. Prices were quite high for Vietnam.

Good food, no flavour !

Wasn't the best place in Hanoi, took forever to get served. Although huge portions and great quality of the food , nothing had a lot of flavour to it ! The place has a great vibe to it though as is a yoga studio as well

Food is good

I go to Zenith Yoga Cafe regularly and really like it in general. I've tried their Pad Thai, Brown Rice Noodle Soup, Burgers, and many other items.

I just wish the restaurant was more careful when it comes to the request for vegan food. For example, it has happened 4 times over the last few months that I ordered Pad Thai without eggs and it came with eggs.

Pros: Nice food, English-speaking, Nice vibe

Cons: Customers need to take off their shoes downstairs, Sometimes vegan food comes with eggs, Small portion

Creative and delicious

We went there twice in Nov 2016. Some options contain garlic and onions but dont worry as the nice waitress will advise when asked. We ordered pizza, tofu rolls, fried vermicelli and rice rolls and love them all! The ambience is so relaxing that you can easily fall asleep after a heavy meal. Their entrance is inside an alley which is not so noticeable. You may even wonder if you are in the wrong place! So be bold to walk right inside, you should be able to see the standing sign in front of the entrance as my photos show. Unlike most restaurants they don't close after lunch and before dinner so you can still pop by for late lunch at 3pm!

Zenith Cafe

Came here for lunch today. We had nem platter (spring rolls) with a basil pesto was ok, Then had a pitta with mushrooms and tomatoes and lovely salad, had a plate of brown rice, tofu omelette, roasted vegetables and salad and pesto sauce had a coconut juice for the two bill came to 480,000 around $20 not bad , not sure why there were two negative comments food produce is organic and menu is western style NOT noodley and heavily seasoned like the many 'Loving Huts' serve up. Pay for quality, not quantity.

Pros: Organic and very well served up., staff speak English and friendly, atmosphere and decor is great

tasty food to fill your belly!

Came for lunch with my boyfriend after being unable to find it earlier in the day for the morning yoga class. We both ordered the avocado & veg rice rolls with a rejuvenating coconut water & a carrot & Ginger smoothie. A plate piled with rolls turned up with a super scrummy basil pesto, we began tucking in when they brought another plate of them over realizing that the first portion was only for one person! A tad more expensive then other places, but we left with happy bellies vowing to return for a yoga class

Not as good as it seems

Don't let the large menu seduce you, the juices aren't very tasty, the food quite bland, only the salads and rolls were good/flavourful. Prices are a bit high for what you get.. The oatmeal seeds cookie was the saddest cookie I ever ate
