So satisfying

I went there in August 2018 and did not search for this place, so it was like a hidden gem for me. The etablissement is so tasteful arranged and very cozy and the hummus was amazing!

Add more hummus!

4/5 stars. Amazing falafel, however ordered hummus plate falafel & salad and really wish for more hummus.. not enough considering the amount of other veggies/falafel.

Favourite hummus in Budapest 💚

Have to agree with other reviews and say this was the best hummus we’ve had in Budapest! Both had the veggie premium plate and loved it. All so fresh, falafel clearly just baked and packed full of flavour with herbs. Lots of people being turned away as so busy, so clearly a popular spot. Lots more veggie and vegan choice than website menu shows.

It deserves 5 stars but it’s not 100% vegetarian or vegan, so cannot give it 5

We had the hummus extra, falafel tál krumpllval, hummus falafel & saláta.
And we loved it! Big portions and a very kind and helpful waitress.
Good beer😄

Can’t give 5 because it’s not 100% vegi but deserves 5 stars

The falafel was amazing and the hummus was some of the best I’ve tasted in Budapest

Pros: Great falafel and hummus , Cheap

Awesome Falafel

We went there with empty stomaches and came out really satisfied. The portions were huge - I had the Falafel plate (with hummus, salad, chips and bread) and almost couldn't eat all the bread. The falafel were among the best I ever tasted. The items on the menu are clearly labeled vegan.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Amazing falafel

Amazing little find

Try the falafel plater - you will need 1 each. Lovely food in a great location. Inside the place is really nicely done. Menu has a (v) next to all the vegan options.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Taste of the falafel , Location

Cons: Has none vegan options

Great falafels!

I had a great meal here - the falafels were delicious and I liked the selection of salads. The portions are quite large for what you pay. All meals that are vegan are labelled (salads, falafel plates or wraps, hummus).

Average Food

The hummus was nothing to rave about. The bread tasted like it belonged to a pizza parlor. The felafel tasted fried, and previous reviews stated it is baked. The service wasn't very quick, so that made the experience even less enjoyable.

Pros: Vegan Options, Vegetarian Options

Cons: Fried Felafel (stated its baked), Too much fatty ingredients

FRESH AND DELICIOUS

I had the vegan hummus plate with falafel pita and salads and this is an amazing portion meal very filling and great value for money liked the fact they don't fry the falafel in oil. They are moist and all the ingredients are fresh. Didn't have to wait long for my order. Good service. Overall happy. Will eat again here before I leave Budapest ! Good value for money & would recommend !

Olive Tree Hummus Original

I actually went to a different location of this small chain (the original one) and it was to die for. Sooo much better than the hummus bar I went to. For 690 forints I got a fresh farm vegan falafel hummus pita. It had veggies and tahini in it as well! They also offer a vegan hummus plate (vegan is clearly marked on their menu) A must go in Budapest! Deserves 5 stars.

Pros: cheap, fresh

The best falafel by far

Falafel pita was the best I've eaten - it was really tasty and not too dry as falafel sometimes tend to be. The ratio between salad and falafel was perfect but I'm still wondering if the yoghurt sauce really was vegan? There were only two options for vegans.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty, Quick

Cons: Few options

heavenly hummus

Hummus with various vegetarian plate and sandwich options. The falafel is baked instead of deep-fried, which is not so authentic but definitely more healthy. For this reason its better to order falafels with some dips / salads or in a sandwich coz that way falafels would not taste so dry. You can ask for full-grain pitas as well. They speak English.
