Had a great time visiting this little spot. My husband and I shared the bbq vibs and the vish and chips. I did not like the vish as much. Thought it was too lemony, but everything else was fantastic. I loved the hush puppies and the bbq vibs were delicious. They even have a couple of items for pups. Would definitely come again to try more of the items.

It’s a great place to eat. Nicely decorated, includes baked goods, and a bar. Ample seating in the outdoor dining spaces. Most seating is under a huge heated tent, but there’s also seating outside the tent with heaters. The tent has a nice sized stage for entertainment. The food: the Voerie roll with fries was delicious, a clear winner. The Waka Waka burger was bland. I only ate a 1/4 of it, couldn’t push through. The sweet potato fries were yummy, but the Ranch dip was blah. I’ll try a different menu option on my next visit.

Had to stay the night in Charlotte recently, and went here kind of on whim, and I am sure glad that I did. The I got the Filthy fries and the Shibobo which were both fantastic. The fries were way larger of a portion than I expected. Both were fantastic flavor wise., There is too much to try in one visit so I'm going to try to make it out there another time. The outdoor bar section they had live music, and fantastic performer playing whose name I did not get. There is too much to try in just one visit. Atmosphere is perfect for city date night.

Every time I visit Charlotte & stop by Oh My Soul, I find a new favorite menu item. Now, my favorite is “Greek Goddess” ! It’s savory, crispy (thanks to the Falafel) & probably the most fulfilling single entree on the menu. I also had the Voerie Roll (second favorite item) w/ a side of Curry Chicken Salad, & Pumpkin Fritters. I’ve been to vegan restaurants all over American & I’ve yet to find anything like the food served here.

The first visit I was not a huge fan. The first time I went I ordered the chicken, which was on of the best fake chicken I've had, if they didn't coat it in yellow mustard before they bread it. The maple honey mustard and the garlic aioli was very good. The mozzarella sticks were good but a very goopy texture.

Read moreHowever once we all got our food I was pretty disappointed. I tried the mock fried shrimp as well as the Buddha bowl. Shrimp was subpar and Buddha bowl was salty and heavy, couldn’t finish it. None of the other people in my party were too impressed with their food either.
Everyone was very friendly though. The patio and bar is super cute and the serve yourself water was good too.

Our First time we ate here. At first we where a bit overwhelmed by the choices so i asked the what they would recommend. Our choice fell for the macho nacho's. I was very surprised by the taste and size. The food is great and service too. I would recommend everyone to go there. Next time we visit Charlotte we will eat here again

Worth a trip to Charlotte just to go to Oh My Soul - Edit
From the moment you arrive - the atmosphere, decor, staff, and of course the food from smoothies to dessert - it’s perfection. The Buddha Bowl was the best bowl I’ve ever had - hearty flavorful great texture with so many different bits of deliciousness like crispy chickpeas seasoned cauliflower refreshing avocado and unique in the best way sauces. The only flaw of Oh My Soul is that there are SO many options (burger or bowl or sandwich or plate), you don’t know what to order - including a crimeworthy display of dessert. I got the cookies and cream pudding and it was really good and a healthy portion (very important to me) but should I have gotten the banana pudding or one of the cupcakes or a brownie or a piece of cake? They also have a variety of vegan candy bars for sale that looked amazing, like maybe vegan versions of classics. There is also a cheese counter and had I not been driving back to NY, I would’ve gotten more. The outdoor seating in the back has a bar and is festive and just lovely. There are big coolers filled with water infused with citrus for the taking and live music. Oh My Soul please come to NYC! I seriously want to return to Charlotte just for you!

I’m so glad we had time to stop here during our trip! This place is amazing, so many different options including breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery items, deli, coffee & souvenirs. The pancakes were the best I’ve ever had! Only outdoor seating available but plenty of it and all shaded. Beautiful artwork all over and lots of plants! It’s a great vibe. They also have a community fridge.

Oh My Soul is Oh so good! My family and I stopped by there today for brunch. I ordered the Rolex (non spicy). I took one bite and realized I had the spicy versus the non spicy. It was extremely delicious however, I can’t do spicy food. I notified one of the servers, she went to the kitchen to speak to someone. The person from the kitchen told me she couldn’t tell if it was the spicy or not but what she could do was make me another one non spicy. The new “non spicy” Rolex was even better than the first. Everything we had was delicious. My husband had the “Hippie Chik” & my son had the “Spirit Rolls” with “Curry Chicken salad”. The service was amazing. The food came out expeditiously. It was hot, fresh & scrumptious. The place was a whole “vibe”. Cute place with great customer service & amazing food. The chocolate chip cookies & snickers bar were also a hit. I will definitely be a repeat customer. ❤️❣️💕

Read moreLately, it has gotten very expensive for the amount you get. The first time we went a few years ago we got a good sized portion for what we paid. Today, it cost us $50 (before tip) just for food for 2 people. Alcoholic drinks were an additional $12-14 each at the bar.
Our biggest complaint was the fact that once you get your food, the staff completely ignores you. Since no one checks in, you have to go back inside to ask for to go boxes, extra napkins, etc.
