I’ve been coming here off and on since they opened as it’s one of the only places in town that have a Vegan selection. I recently invited a friend from Humboldt to come try it. I’m incredibly disappointed with the foods inconsistency. The ingredients are constantly changing which is reflected in the taste of the dishes. After all the new hires, it’s really hit or miss depending on who made what.
My friend ordered the Vachos, I ordered the Panini.
The “cheese” was too thin, and it hardly ever tastes the same as the time before. This time it was watery and my friend ended up throwing away half his box due to soggy chips.
The panini costs $14 and advertises focaccia bread. First off, the sandwich is about the size of your palm, but it comes with chips! Secondly, the focaccia bread I had recently was nowhere near what focaccia bread is supposed to be. It was bland, and not worth the price.
After this experience, unless there is some consistency that begins to occur, I will not be coming back.
