View very great options - Edit
There are only a view vegan options but the ones they do have are amazing! I ordered the stuffed eggplant and stuffed peppers. The bread unfortunately isn’t vegan (contains egg). The staff is extremely friendly and does know the ingredients of the food very well. The backyard of the restaurant is lovely and if you are lucky, they also do have live music.

Stuffed eggplant - Edit
Busy restaurant to come with omni friends. Stuffed eggplant and Lima beans were fab (one person not super super hungry could just get the eggplant). A bit chaotic but a great find! Lots of cats to snuggle with while you eat but they try to get a snack haha

Had a great lunch here. Lots of vegetables and healthy foods. Staff was friendly. It was really busy so service was slow. Other than that, perfect experience!

Amazing Albanian cuisine, with lots of delicious of veg-options!! - Edit
Oda is a very popular traditional albanian restaurant in central Tirana!! (And, for a reason!). It has a gorgeous patio space to sit, some adorable frolicking kittens, helpful staff, live music, and, most importantly, DELICIOUS VEGAN FOOD! They have their own vegetarian section in the menu (all of which is fully vegetarian) and many of the options are vegan as well. Just ask the staff (and maybe specify what you can’t eat) and they will be sure to help direct you. I have been several times, and love to get the beans, stuffed grape leaves, stuffed eggplant, and others (I think the stuffed peppers may be vegan, but I’m not sure). It’s also pretty cheap which is nice— Definitely due a visit! You may want to make a reservation since they get busy.

Restaurant is not all vegan, but lots of options and this was such a satisfying meal - the portions were very generous and the food was very flavourful.

Filling but a few things leave a bad taste in the mouth - Edit
Firstly the positives:
Read more1) vegan options of traditional Albanian food was cool to try and the venue is aesthetic with a big outside area in which to eat (I had the lima beans, peppers stuffed with rice and aubergine stuffed with vegetables - the aubergine was probably the best. The mulberry raki which I had read is an Albanian specialty that isn't produced in other Balkan countries wasn't to my taste but will blow your head off if you're looking for a strong drink);
2) the food is incredibly filling unless I was just upsold with having effectively two mains!;
3) being able to try 3 mains and had half portions of two of them so that I could do this; and
3) the cost was half of what I had at Salt, but much more filling.
The areas for improvement / things I wasn't as big a fan of:
1) being asked to move table because I was sat at a big table and also apparently there was a reservation. Not so sure about that and given there are 22 tables and others that were as big, it felt like I was being treated differently. Two women eventually took the table at which I was sat (had seating for 6...);
2) the waiter who served me didn't seem to know the difference between vegetarian and vegan. The menu has a vegetarian section but it's not clearly identifiable what is vegan. When asking, he clarified the choices that I had were just vegetables so will have to trust him;
3) the bread felt a little stale around the edges and the stuffed aubergine wasn't very warm which makes me think it was batch prepared in advance and was just waiting around. That is quite scary as aubergine can potentially have a negative effect on the stomach;
4) I didn't actually ask for the bread but was charged for it (only 50 leks but that feels somewhat underhand); and
5) cash only - not a big deal as fortunately had enough on me, but would have thought popular / big restaurant would accept card.
All in all, I'm glad I tried it and will have to roll myself out, but I won't be returning.

Central place with several veg options - Edit
I liked the food at this place and went twice. They have a lot of veg options, all traditionally Albanian. The setting is also folklore-themed, which makes for a nice experience. Cheap wine as well, although we got charged a different rate both times which makes me doubt the honesty of the staff. The people working here weren't very friendly at all (lady in her 30's/40's made us feel incredibly unwelcome the second time).

Just Okay - Edit
I went with high expectations because this restaurant is recommended on a lot of blogs. There were a lot of veggie and vegan traditional items to choose from, which I was excited about. I ordered the stuffed eggplant and Fergese (dairy). They brought me the stiffed peppers instead. They were good but not very fresh.

I was happily surprised not only to find vegan dishes in the menu, but also to discover that they were very very good! I really recommend this place. I had beans, vegetables in the oven, and a house wine which was also very good!

Albanian vegan cuisine - Edit
This is the best type of vegan food experience: instead of eating something you could eat anywhere in the world, to experience the local cuisine through a vegan lense. This traditional Albanian restaurant offers some great plant-based local dishes. I LOVED the stuffed eggplant, so tasty and it really fills you up. Prices are very fair for what you get. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very traditional and more of the style you find outside the capital. All in all, a great experience you should not miss out on when you're in Tirana!

Oda was quite a bit surprise for me.

I decided to go for a beans. I paid just 350 lek, got a big portion of beans with bread. It was really tasty, the staff was really friendly, understood what term "vegan" means and even recommended other dishes. I must say, I would definetly eat there again. It was worth it.
Pros: Good number of vegan dishes, Really good prices, Friendly staff

Cute little restaurant. Felt very touristy and artificial tough. Gets swamped around dinner time and the vibe was somewhat strange. Didn’t feel cozy at all to sit behind the tiny tables inside with a very cold white light and paper table cloth.

I would give this place 5 stars, but I can't since it's not a fully vegan or vegetarian restaurant and Happy Cow won't allow that, which is silly considering there are no fully vegan restaurants and only one vegetarian restaurant in Tirana.

We had the stuffed eggplant, stuffed pepper and bean stew. All tasted great! The waitress knew what vegan meant telling us that we couldn't order the bread when we asked about it. Serves a nice selection of flavored raki too (such as mulberry). The restaurant is off the main street currently next to some construction. It looks like a traditional house with lots of polished wood.
