Visit and support the cats - Edit
They have a room dedicated to cats but also a terrace (outdoor) where them can go and enjoy the sun.
Read moreThe cats are very friendly not at all scary and they keep moving from one room to another.
Benefits from eating there are dedicated to take care of the cats living there and also for rescuing new ones.

lovely brunch garden - Edit
The terrace here is such a suntrap which makes it lovely to sit in with all the cats napping where they want. The cats seems comfortable and wander about calmly. We had a delicious lunch here with tofu and rice, as well as two cakes.

Vegan + cats = amazing - Edit
Really nice cat cafe. I have been to many and this was by far the nicest. Plus it's the only one that was vegan. You'd think putting the two (vegan food and rescued animals) together would be a no brainer but people like dogs and cats but don't mind putting milk derived from inhumanely treated cows in their coffee. The cats were well loved and looked after. Food is not the reason you go but it was good enough and I so appreciate that everything was vegan.

There was a line when they opened, so that should have been a clue😄 They filled up quickly for lunch, and I can see why. We had coffee, lunch, cake, and the kids played with the kitties. I was surprised at how clean, well mannered and maintained the cat area was. My kids didn't want to leave. The food was amazing, and super affordable. I will definitely be back.

Pela diferença do conceito, vale a pena a visita. A esplanada do pátio peca pelo sol em excesso, mas os gatinhos fazem-nos esquecer tudo. Provei uma das Sandwich (de tofu) e era muito bem servida.

I had a lunch course including toasts with hommus, soup, and the main dish Torta de Batata that were all so good. Also had the cinnamon cake and capuccino. Enjoyed everything. And the cats of course.

I’m not normally a fan of cat cafes and the like. However, this place really cared about the animals and wasn’t there to exploit them. It was a rescue centre that really cares. The food was fully vegan and we had the set lunch menu which was really good value and incredibly tasty. Definitely worth a visit whilst in Porto. It has such a great atmosphere in the back garden eating around the cats. The only issue is how stupid some of the customers are, more signs need to be around saying to leave the cats alone especially whilst sleeping. One person kept trying to wake them.

The indoor front part of the cafe which doesn't have the cats in was cosy and the cakes were good, however the outdoor seating area where the cats are is less nice despite the cats wandering around. Not the best cat café in truth but the food was pretty good

If you’re a vegan and love cats, this place is heaven … and I don’t know what’s keeping you from visiting😉The food is really good (and affordable), but of course the main attraction are the four-legged angels/devils secretly running the venue. There’s at least a dozen of them, and they’re beautiful. Enjoy a great meal and even greater furry friends, they’re top-notch. Fully recommended.

Bij Porto dos gatos hebben ze liefde voor katten, alles is ingericht voor de katten. Heel erg leuk om te zien. Er is een Vegan lunch te nuttigen en de gerechtjes waren ok. Ga er vooral heen om de katten te knuffelen !

O poder estar com gatos e num espaço com comida vegan é incrível! Provei a francesinha europeia, era boa, mas achei um pouco seco o recheio! O molho era bom só não gostei do toque de caminhos que altera o sabor do molho tradicional! Mas no geral era boa, vinha bem recheada!

I’ve tried some toasts and cakes and everything was delicious and well served. The prices were good.
They have brunch and also a Francesinha, definitely need to visit again to try it!

Local super acolhedor, tem cá fora umas mesas na entrada do restaurante, ao entrar tem mais algumas e depois tem um porta para a sala dos gatos e mais mesas lá fora na “parte de trás”. O atendimento foi ótimo. Para entrada pedimos pão com azeite, alho e ervas. O pão não estava gorduroso, o que é ótimo já que odeio coisas gordurosas, mas como não sou grande fã de alho não amei e não voltava a pedir. Para prato principal pedi um “CAT’kebab”, e posso vos dizer que ADOREI! O pão era um pouco duro, mas o queijo tipo cheedar vegan *que é o meu favorito*, com o seitan laminado pequenino e com uns molho INCRÍVEIS!!!! O meu pai pedir acho que um “Persa” que era de tofu e alheira. Ele gostou muito, menos do queijo feta!Para sobremesa pedimos um bolo de chocolate húmido mega bom e NADA enjoativo! No geral é um lugar giro de ir recomendo, além de verem gatinhos mega fofos e super carinhosos vão poder comer comidinha boa!

Pedimos duas francesinhas Europeu e Snow e estavam bem gostosos. Ficamos no ambiente sem os gatos. Muito bom o incentivo à adoção dos gatos! As batatas fritas poderiam ser melhores. O bolo de chocolate cremoso e o brownie de chocolate com maracujá também estavam gostosos! Recomendo!

Vegan café with cats? This place was made for us! I really enjoyed my vegan Francesinha sandwich with chips. I had a chocolate cake with banana and caramel for dessert and a cattuccino. We spent a good amount of time here mesmerised by all the cats.
